Websites of the organizationswhich perform mediation of dogs, has been examined to show which information is available. The starting point of this work has been to get knowledge about teachers working in a mathematical workshop with the students. I also wanted to investigate what students think about math, both within the workshop and in traditional teaching.To achieve this I chose to interview a teacher in charge within the framework of a mathematical workshop, and six students in the 5th grade. I also did a lesson observation with the purpose to see how well the teacher?s tutoring agrees with the results of the interview.In this study I have discovered that the lessons in the mathematical workshop are planned after what the students are working with in the textbook. The teacher opens the lessons with the whole class and then splits it up in groups.

The main purpose with this study is to describe teachers? use of textbooks and other teaching materials in upper secondary school (gymnasiet) in Sweden, and to discuss the use according to school subject and teacher style. Data was collected in two different ways. At first twenty classroom observations were made during lectures concerning the subjects Swedish (mothertounge), English (foreign language) and religion. Earlier research has shown that combining education with entertainment can improve students motivation in school. We have identified aspects of educational games that also could be considered when developing interactive digital Learning resources, to make them more entertaining and motivating. We have chosen to study and evaluate an interactive digital Learning resource called ?Grasp the Disaster?, a fictional online adventure created for students in the ages between 13-15.

With this study we aim to Learn more about the relationship between digitalization and the swedish church. We have interviewed two priests and two other persons ? one who got married about five years ago, and one who, at the time of writing, is getting married in a few weeks. In addition to the interviews we found some earlier research that were relevant to us, which we read and compared to the empirics we got from the interviews. In our study we have taken qualitative research into practice since we want our interviewees to really share their points of view on the organisation?s usage of digital media.

Today there is a large consensus about the importance of Swedish schools providingconditions enabling students to develop the ability to manage and Learn through information technologies (IT). The goal of this study was to describe and examine how national education goals for the use of IT transformed into municipal IT-strategies for the school. A content analysis was conducted of thirty-eight municipal IT-strategies collected from Swedish municipal websites on the Internet. The content in the municipal IT-strategies was compared with the content in both the Swedish education act and the national curriculum. The results showed that the content in the Swedish education act and the national curriculum in fact was translated into municipal IT strategies, but that the range of strategies concerning technology, pedagogy and content in relation to IT was broad.

This master's thesis sets out to explore information literacy in a contextualized Learning environment with emphasis on students at a vocationally oriented program in the Swedish upper secondary school. The concept of information literacy is widely discussed and furthermore a common subject for research within the field of Library and Information Science. Information literacy can be described as a set of skills or a range of attributes defining an information literate person. The skills and/or attributes facilitating the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills are often linked to knowledge about computers and libraries.Another view on the concept of information literacy has been developed by the Australian researcher Annemaree Lloyd. She stresses the importance of social and physical information sources and that these also should be included in the development of information literacy.
