Detta projekt gick ut på studera huruvida Outokumpu, Degerfors, kunde använda sig av modeller som representerar strategier från Lean production med tillhörande flödesverktyg och hur dessa kunde appliceras i företaget. Outokumpu, Degerfors, är specialister inom rostfritt stål och levererar produkter till slutanvändare världen över. Uppgiftens utgångspunkt är att försöka få en bättre och smidigare hantering av materialet och samtidigt sänka kostnaderna för produkter i arbete. Modellen som användes kallas ?lära sig att se? och baseras på att kartlägga flöden inom produktionen. Syftet med detta var dels att skapa sig en bild av ett nuvarande produktionsflöde men också fastställa eventuella slöserier i värdekedjan.

El-installationer är ett komplext paket att upphandla, vilket till stor del beror på el-marknadsstrukturen. El-marknaden kännetecknas av karaktärsdrag liknande oligopolmarknader, med en styrande aktör, ett begränsat antal leverantörer samt en icke fungerande konkurrens. Allt fler byggföretag övergår från den traditionella marknadspraxisen till ett mer industriellt byggande. Det ställer krav på inköpsarbetet och kräver nytänkande i form av innovationer, utifrån den individuella byggprocessen. Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur ett byggföretag bör agera vid inköpsbeslut av el-installationer.

AbstractThis work was assigned by a technological company that manufactures gas detectors in which the sensor signal is processed using digital filters. These filters have been developed by a consultancy firm which converted previously used analog filters to digital filters. The purpose of this work has been to analyse inadequate, and sometimes erroneous, documentation from the project in order to provide the company with know-how and tools for further improvement of their products. The work has been done using the simulation software COMSOL which was bought solely for the project. Analysis showed serious flaws as well as pure errors in the consultant?s documentation.

In this study we have examined the possible quality standards and methods for applications with service workshops in the forest industry. The purpose of the methods presented here was to start the work of standarardising the maintenance service in the industry and be of use for service providers in their quality effort.The methods we used to accomplish the study were interviews and field visits together with a comprehensive literature research. Our results are presented in the form of four solution proposals: a standard based on existing SIS standards for terminology and key indicators, checklists that are filled in by mechanics with customer participation, the construction of a instructions database, and the implementation of the method 5s.We believe our suggestions can help the service providers in the four problem areas that we have identified: long term strategy, documentation, recruitment of competent technicians, and standard procedures in their operations. Denna fallstudie har utfört på Klöfver AB och syftet med studien är att öka förståelsen hur ett producerande företag kan effektivisera värdeflödet inom sina produktionsprocesser.Först kartlades det nuvarande läget i produktionen på företaget. Med utgångspunkt från en värdeflödesanalys kunde sedan värdeskapande och icke värdeskapande aktivitet identifieras. De icke värdeskapande aktiviteterna kategoriserades som olika typer av slöserier. Omställningstiden i ytmonteringslinan Panasonic på Stoneridge Electronics AB ansågs vara en bidragande orsak till att maskinernas fulla kapacitet inte kunde utnyttjas. The aim of this qualitative study is to examine the experience of participation among first line managers within community home care. The study is based on eight interviews with first line managers operating in a metropolitan area in Sweden. A majority of the interviewees worked in private companies.We have used two theories to interpret our empiri: Lean Production and Human Resource Management. The analysis resulted in seven themes: economy, leadership, participation, view on the organization, first line manager, private or municipally operated organization and expectations on the manager. Our results showed that all the interviewees experienced that they were participant in the organization.

Purpose: To investigate whether or not the credit granters believe the quality in audits will deteriorate after the abolishment of statutory audit and, if that is the case, how the abolishment will strike the purpose and goal of accounting.Approach: To answer our purpose we carried out a literature study to later implement interviews with four granters of credits specialised in business accounts.Findings: The process of credit granting will not change after the abolishment of statutory audit for companies still using audit reports. This essay revolves around two questions: what is the nature of politics, and what kind of political order ensures a high rate of citizen participation? By using Cantal Mouffes theory on the political this essay shows how different understandings of the nature of politics can lead to diverging views on what forms democracy should take. Two such understandings are identified; one that sees the nature of politics as characterized by conflict and power, one that sees it as a space for cooperation in search for the common good. I trace these different ideas about the political in the parliamentary debate concerning Swedish constitutional reform. I conclude that the left-of-centre parties hold a view of the political closer to the conflict-perspective, while the green party together with the liberals/conservatives lean closer to the opposite view..
