Gain IT Architecture & Solutions AB (refereras till som Gain IT) är ett litetHuskvarnabaserat IT-företag. De är verksamma inom de tre affärsområdenaprodukt, konsult och service. Inom produktområdet sker försäljning avprogramvaror och deras egenutvecklade webbapplikationer. På konsultsidanerbjuder Gain IT bl.a. utveckling av webbapplikationer.

Ett affärskoncept har tagits fram och resulterat i en marknadsplats. Marknadsplatsen är en webbsida och mobil applikation vars syfte är att skapa värde av resursers bokningsbara tider som idag har generellt låg beläggning hos aktivitetsanläggningar inom sport, kultur och nöje.Marknadsplatsen är tänkt att samla ett brett utbud av lågbeläggningstider inom olika aktivitetstyper som är typiska vardagsaktiviteter som vänner gör tillsammans. Tanken är att bygga ett starkt varumärke för marknadsplatsen med det tydliga budskapet att "marknadsplatsen tillhandahåller ett brett utbud av prisvärda erbjudanden inom sport- och nöjesaktiviteter, om du väljer att anpassa ditt schema utifrån anläggningarnas lågbeläggningstider". Dessutom är det tänkt att marknadsplatsen ska ha funktionalitet som gör det enklare för användare att boka en tid via marknadsplatsen, genom att synkronisera de olika alternativ av aktiviteter och tider som personer inom en grupp av vänner är intresserade av. Marknadsplatsen är tänkt att riktas till målgrupper med personer som har flexibla scheman, framförallt egenföretagare, studenter och pensionärer.

The main purpose of this essay was to find out how members of Narcotics Anonymous and professionals within the socila service departments define integration of drug addicts, and ascertain how they experience their parts in the integration process. We have wanted to examine which factors that are essential for the earlier drogabuser in his rehabilitation to the ordinary world.We wanted to find out as much as possible of the integration aspect. That´s the reason for our choice to do qualitative interviews with both people from the social service department and Narcotics Anonymous. We also obtained material from relevant litterature. In our analysis, we have started from three theoretical basis.

Today, there are no standardized ways to characterize SOA, many are talking about SOA and many say they are using SOA. One way that we have chosen to characterize this phenomenon is through an evaluation that will indicate whether SOA have been used in the development. Basedon a Service Oriented Architecture literature study, we have created an evaluation pattern resulting SOA principles of integration, architecture and services. This evaluation was applied to Logica's own integration system AgrCom through an empirical study to result in a response indicating whether AgrCom is SOA based. The results of the evaluation show that AgrCom is part of an SOA solution but not an SOA as a whole concept.

The subject for this Master's thesis is the mission of the public library concerning target group everybody. Control documents, traditions, norms and trends influence how this is interpreted and how the library's service is being formed. The often very abstract terms used to describe the public library's mission makes it open for different interpretations. We are of the opinion that the public library's service should be formed to reflect the needs, interests, and priorities of the community it services, in order to be more attractive and useful.The aim of our study is to examine how the public librarians define and adjust to the mission to satisfy all citizens needs. Why do they choose to concentrate on certain target groups? And what does that show of how the public libraries reflect their communities? Our investigation includes examining six activities aimed at a certain target group and the six public libraries that carried these out.

Advertisement is something that surrounds us in our everyday life. The two terms marketing and advertising are closely linked together and often considered as the same thing, although they are not. To be able to analyse the term advertisement it is crucial to separate it from the term marketing and observe advertising as a part of the complete marketing. We have two main focuses with this qualitative research and the first one of these is to analyse the changes in advertising when considering style, message and characteristics. The advertiser has a wide range of tools that he or she can use to make commercials follow the trends and changes in society.

The rise of social media has created an endless source of possibilities for companies to interact and connect with their target audiences. As it is a new channel, companies may experience uncertainty on how to use it to its fullest potential.The purpose of this study is to describe how the Public Service radio channel, P4 Kalmar, use its Facebook page and how its members perceive the communication on this platform. We have also presented recommendations on how P4 Kalmar can improve the relationship with its members. To reach our conclusions we have combined theoretical references with a quantitative content analyze, a survey and qualitative depth interviews.By analyzing our findings we came to the conclusion that P4 Kalmar have to develop a strategy for communicating on social media. But since no general communication strategy for the organization exists they have to develop one before developing one for social media.

Detta examensarbete behandlar Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) och dess implementeringar Jini och Web services. SOA beskriver hur applikationsintegration mellan olika plattformar skall ske och innebär att applikationer designas som tjänster för att enkelt integreras med andra applikationer. Dynamisk lokalisering av tjänster via en registertjänst används för att applikationer skall finna andra applikationer. Vi designar och implementerar en mekanism i Web services som gör det möjligt att byta en tjänst under exekvering. Ett sådant byte kan vara intressant av två skäl, tjänster kan registreras utan att vara tillgängliga, eller att det uppstår ett fel under exekvering som gör att tjänsten blir otillgänglig..

The aim with this Master's thesis is to study the debate that takes place in the local community when a public library branch is threatened by closedown through the local newspapers. Through this it is our aim to understand why the debate takes place, and why so many people gets concerned with it. By relating this debate to contemporary research of library- and information science, and the discussion in three major Swedish library journals, we have found the answers to these questions. By studying the debate, we found six subjects that where essential for this study. These were Politics and economics, Urban and rural districts, Democracy and accessibility, The service of the library, The meeting place and To replace a closed down library.

Saab Component Maintenance in Linköping, Sweden, offers maintenance, repair andoverhaul (MRO) services for civilian and military aircraft components. Lately, thedepartment has struggled with slow throughput rates, despite various counteractingattempts. Studies show, that large parts of the delays derive from the logisticsdepartment where goods arrive and dispatch. Therefore, Saab wants to carry out anextensive analysis of the department in order to further investigate what is causing itsslow throughput rates.The thesis begins with extensive mapping over Component Maintenances whole valuestream to find out how departments interact with each other and which roleindividual departments have in the total supply chain. Out of 13 000 different partnumbers, components were divided into five product families.

Trots de svenska medborgarnas ökande krav på digital självservice via e-tjänster, går införande trögt hos kommunerna. En anledning är den relativt låga kunskap som finns i området. Främst vad gäller avancerade e-tjänster som förutom att öka medborgarnas tillgänglighet, insyn och delaktighet i sina offentliga ärenden, även ska minska den administrativa hanteringen för att istället låta mer av resurserna gå till kärnverksamheten. I den här kvalitativa fallstudien studerades hur en kommunal verksamhetsprocess utvecklas vid införandet av en e-tjänst. Hur slöseri kan identifieras i processen informationshantering och informationsflöde och hur dessa förändrats efter att e-tjänsten införts.

In the master thesis the focus of the study has been on the special library of the Goethe-institute in Stockholm. A survey was made among the visitors coming to the library, to find out how they used the library and how they would judge the quality of service. To find out how the needs and the opinions of the users were meet by the library I also made an interview with the staff one librarian and the chief librarian. In the analysis I used the theory about service quality of Christian Grönroos as a framework. The theory distinguishes the service quality into technical resp.

Mjukvara i datorer styr många viktiga funktioner i dagens samhälle och används i stor utsträckning för att kommunicera men även för att styra utrustning. För att mjukvara ska fungera tillförlitligt behöver den byggas korrekt och testas utförligt. För att uppnå tillförlitlighet kan en byggserver används för att automatiskt bygga och testa mjukvaran. Den här rapporten beskriver hur en prototyp av ett övervakningssystem för byggservrar skapats. Systemet sköter övervakningen genom en övervakningstjänst som hämtar information från en byggserver av typen CruiseControl.NET [10] och presenterar informationen på en webbportal.

Köpingsföretaget GETRAG All Wheel Drive AB utvecklar, tillverkar och levererar komponenter för drivteknik till personbilsindustrin. Genom projektet 580-9 planerar företaget att införa en monteringsbana för en nyutvecklad produkt. Till denna önskar företaget skapa en materialhantering som är kostnadseffektiv, lever upp till kundernas krav på hög kvalitet samt utesluter hantering av träemballage vid monteringsbanan. Syftet med examensarbetet är därför att ge förslag till en kostnadseffektiv materialhantering där emballage som avger restprodukter inte hanteras vid monteringsbanan.För att undersöka examensarbetets frågeställningar har vi utrett hur materialförsörjningen till banan bör skötas. Studien bygger främst på teorier om lean produktion och förpackningslogistik.
