Sju husmödrar berättar : en etnologisk studie om husmödrar under mitten av 1900-talet
This thesis is about how ideology affects the way Leadership literature measures good and bad Leadership qualities. The paper argues that ideological influences in Leadership literature, from a teacher perspective, complicate the understanding of Leadership in its practice and theory. The methodological tool used in this thesis is an idea- and ideology analysis approach applied on Leadership literature that is used in teacher education. A theoretical discussion about the definition of Leadership and its possible ideological connotations sets a frame for measuring ideological influences in the texts. The analysis from the textbooks showed clear signs of ideological influences when talking about Leadership.

AbstractAs a result of globalisation, there are indications that national cultural differences between countries are becoming increasingly vague. Research shows that industries develop similarities, as a result of the integration between corporations that has followed the internationalisation. The aim of this study was thus to investigate whether different countries in the same industry can develop similar perceptions regarding what is considered effective Leadership. The study also aimed to investigate whether these perceptions can influence how Leadership is exercised. The Leader qualities that were identified were categorised based on the Leadership attributes that were formulated in Project GLOBE.

The purpose of this study was to examine the Leadership style that is preferred by the employees from a psychosocial- and productive perspective. The study is based on Lewin et al´s research on the three Leadership styles authoritarian, democratic and laissez-faire Leader. This is a quantitative study with a questionnaires as data collection method. The sample consisted of individuals working in a municipality in one nursing unit. The data from the survey were analyzed by three separate one-way depending ANOVA in IBM statistics SPSS 22.
Från nykonservatism till socialliberalism? En förändringsstudie av Moderata Samlingspartiet
AbstractThis thesis discusses ideological and rhetorical change of the Moderate Party of Sweden. The aim of the thesis has been to study the party during a time-span of almost 20 years, trying to identify changes related to each of the three party Leaders.A hypothesis was developed, suggesting that the three party Leaders each represented a different kind of ideology namely neo-conservatism, neo-liberalism and social liberalism. By studying newspaper articles and protocols from the Swedish Parliament, riksdagen, I was able to verify the hypothesis in all but the first party Leader, Carl Bildt. It was showed that his ideology had more in common with New Right than with neo-liberalism.After identifying these changes I looked for explanations within Party Strategy Theory and Social Change Theory. My conclusions were that the changes could be understood by the great loss of voters in the election of 2002 and that agents within the Moderate Party acted upon the ambition to win new and old voters to the party, thereby recognizing the need for change.Keywords: Ideological Change, Rhetorical Change, The Moderate Party,Neo-Liberalism, Neo-Conservatism, Social Liberalism..

Antalet frivilliga ökar alltmer och därmed ställs det alltfler krav på
frivilligledare/ledare inom ideella organisationer. Min förförståelse är att
ledare inom ideella organisationer ska värna om de frivilliga, motivera, ?hålla
lågan uppe? och stödja ?eldsjälarna?.
Då det inte finns mycket skrivet om hur frivilligledare/ledare inom Röda
Korset går tillväga för att leda frivilliga, är syftet med studien att belysa
hur ledare inom en ideell organisation, Röda Korset, ?leder? de frivilliga som
ingår i organisationen och hur ledarna ser på sitt ledarskap.

The Sweden Democrats uses a term to describe a situation where ?swedes? are being discriminated against by other ethnic groups and where the elite is promoting this. The term ?svenskfientlighet? can be translated as ?swedofobia? and in this thesis a speech by the party Leader Jimmie Åkesson held during the election campaign that solely was dedicated to this term is being analyzed with the help of tools developed by the scholar Ruth Wodak. Ruth Wodak has previously analyzed the rhetoric by other European right-wing-populist parties like FPÖ in Austria and has asked for other researchers to analyze the speech used by right-wing-populist and extremist parties to get a better understanding for just how these parties construct their different enemies.

The aim of this study has been to investigate children and adolescent development in ?The turning point? children´s and adolescent program in Kristianstad. We also wanted to find out the support group Leaders experiences concerning the children´s and the adolescents development in programs and how they apprehended their role as a support group Leader. Our intension was also to study how the adolescent and the children considered their own development in the program. To carry through this study, we used two types of qualitative methods i.e.

Aim: Our aim is to make a critical review of the glorification of Leadership, by describing the practical work of Leaders, compared to what is written in management literature. Method: We have applied a qualitative approach in our study and implemented seven interviews to illustrate our respondents? experiences and opinions. All of our respondents have leading positions with their current companies. To analyse the results from our interviews, we have compared them with literature written in the subject, mostly management literature. Results & Conclusions: We have concluded that there is a connection between the theory and our empirical material.

In 2003 the deciding political council in Bromölla municipality requested that an overhaul on the committee and public administration structure should be conducted. In the report Bromölla was characterized as a traditional organization with a low degree of change. This case study will examine why the organization previously has been reluctant to change its structure and why they are willing to do so now. In the pursuit of this objective I conducted document studies, interviews and observations. I have used theories on, institutional change and organizational culture to enlighten this.My findings shows that the traditionalists within the organization has greatly affected this reluctance towards change, in the deciding council 39 % of the representatives are 60 years or older.

Bush held a speech where he classified six nations as being the main threats to American security, one of them being Syria, a state with a secular constitution, no resent offence towards the US, and with an improved diplomatic relationship to the US during the Clinton years.Being an ally to the Soviet Union during the Cold War Syria was forced to redefine its role in the region. Using neorealistc theory one part conlusion is the fact that the new Syrian Leader, Bashar al-Hasad, in the early 21th century determined to set higher goals for the Syrian power ambition in the Middle East, threatened to destabilize the region and leave the US and its allies in a caotic situation.In the US, however, the new administration after 11/9 sharpened its tone towards states that did not cooperate in the new ?war on terrorism? or/and were likely to harbour terrorists. Syria was accused of doing both.

It is the responsibility of the topLeaders of the municipality (the municipal manager and the chairman of the local government board) to manage the situation and to make sure that the organization continuously develops. Purpose: To explain, from a Leadership perspective, how the municipal topLeaders'duties have developed during the past 25 years. Results: The municipal topLeaders have nowadays got more issues to handle. Cooperation, networks and projects have increased, like international issues.
Att leva i en aktiv värld - svenska och danska barns umgänge med pedagoger i en virtuell värld
In my study I have participated at the Fifth Dimension / Active Worlds site in
Villa Gymnastiken in Ronneby, where I have worked both as an assistant to the
project Leader and as a researcher, but also as a participant together with the
children. The children are working in a virtual world called Femtedim, created
in a internet-based program named Active Worlds Education Universe. The
Femtedim-world are bridging together two physical worlds in Ronneby and
Copenhagen.
My main focus is on an intervention that occurred in the 12th of March when the
research-team in Copenhagen, which runs the project in Denmark, decided to
create a new challenge for the children since some of them started to get
bored. They added gravitation to the Femtedim-world, which lead to a few
different reactions among the children. Most of the children didn´t like it and
were very hostile towards the idea that they would not be able to fly around
freely in the Femtedim-world.

This essay is about Leadership in libraries within the academic world, i.e. Leadership in research libraries. To place our survey in a context we begin the theoretical review with a chapter about organisation theory. We dont think its possible to separate the Leader from the organisation so we wanted to describe the organisation and its effect on the Leadership. The next theoretical section is about Leadership research.
Hur gör man motivation? - en studie i ett industriföretag - Vad en ledare skall tänka på för att motivera sin personal?
För att företagen skall kunna bevara sin konkurrenskraft har en hög motivation hos deanställda fått en allt större betydelse. Jag har i denna studie studerat motivation och vad somkommer att påverka motivationsgraden hos de anställda mest. Detta med utgångspunkt fråntre olika aspekter, vilka är; ledarskap, lärande organisation och utvecklingssamtalet. Somteoretisk bas har jag använt mig av fyra olika klassiska motivationsteorier. Alla dessa teorierhar som utgångspunkt förklarat vad som gör individer motiverade, däremot saknade jag enbeskrivning hur en ledare skall agera för att skapa motivation hos sin personal.
