Situationsanpassat ledarskap - en studie om vad i situationen som påverkar ledarskapets utformning :  

The purpose of this study has been to examine what it is in the situation that affects which leadership that is applied on the members of the organization. Our questions that we have explored were; What is it in the situation that influences the leadership applied on an individual or staff group? What similarities and differences have emerged by Hersey and Blanchards situational leadership model?Further, we used qualitative semi-structured interviews at the interview procedures with three managers and three employees. Hersey and Blanchards situational leadership model and Goffmans theory in the book "The presentation of self in everyday life" have been used as a foundation and inspiration in this study.We have found that circumstances like the size of the staff group along with the organizations financials and the resources affect the leadership behavior and how well it is matched with the employees. The function of the leaders position in the context, and the purpose of the situation influences how the leadership is formed.

Ledarskap och efterföljelse : relationen mellan ledare och anställda på Lycamobile

In this day of age there is no clear definition of what leadership is and exactly what it means. Though something that all existing definitions of leadership have in common is that, it is a process of influence where the leader exerts influence over their subordinates. The concept of leadership can at first glance be seen as a clear substance that is easy to understand. However, this is not the case when one delves into the subject and begins to realize that leadership is a complex concept which includes a variety of things. How to best exercise leadership is a divided perception that may be completely different, depending on whom you ask the leader or the follower.In this paper the aim is to explore the leadership within the company Lycamobile located in Sweden, with respect to management.

Föräldradelaktighet i åtgärdsprogram : en dokumentanalys

Under de senaste decennierna har föräldrar blivit allt mer delaktiga i sina barns skolgång (Erikson 2004), vi har intresserat oss för om detta fenomen gör sig gällande även då åtgärdsprogram upprättas. Syftet med denna studie är därmed att studera föräldrars delaktighet i utformande och genomförande av åtgärdsprogram. Utifrån detta syfte har följande forskningsfrågor formulerats: a) I vilken utsträckning är föräldrar närvarande då åtgärdsprogram utformas? b) Vilken position tilldelas föräldrar i åtgärdsprogram? c) Vad säger denna position om föräldrars delaktighet i utformande och genomförande av åtgärdsprogram? Studien har utförts som en fallstudie vid en grundskola. Huvudmetoden har varit dokumentanalys och analysmaterialet bestod av åtgärdsprogram för elever i år 8 och 9, vilka avslutats mellan år 2000 och 2006.

Annorlundahet som kapital: Kategorin invandrarförfattare och annorlundahet på det litterära fältet.

The purpose of this study is to explore the concept of the immigrant-writer. By studying the literary criticism on four debutants, all of whom have been categorised as immigrant-writers, I have come to the conclusion that the critics tend to focus on the authors' otherness. By using postcolonial theory I've analysed the role as representatives of a supposed other reality that is imposed on these four authors by the literary critics. The theories of Pierre Bourdieu, especially his concepts of symbolic capital, literary field and position, have been used to contextualise these conclusions. Although the otherness that the critics accentuate seems to work as a negative symbolic capital in a bigger societal perspective, in the author's position within the literary field it grows their positive symbolic capital.

AbstractThis thesis discusses and analyses a 19th century female author's vanishing from history. The study investigates social relationships as figured and described in the epistolary form, based on letters between the author herself and different members of her family. It also tries to identify the author's position and situation in her time and society according to important themes and motifs in her novels. The main purpose is not to reconstruct history, but rather to show the many complex histories that can also be described, apart from the simplified and generalized one. The aim of this study is to, from a post-structuralist perspective, analyze the position of author Marianne Lundegård-Hagberg, and her role as a performative, discursive person that history forgot..

?Hamburgarchef?? ? En kvalitativ studie om vilka upplevelser av konflikter och konflikthantering som mellanchefer inom försörjningschef har i förhållande till sin position

Innan vi började skriva vår uppsats trodde vi att mellanchefens position var konfliktfylld och upplevdes som en klämd position. Vi har gjort en kvalitativ studie och intervjuat sju mellanchefer inom försörjningsstöd. Dessa chefer befinner sig mellan överordnade såsom politiker och verksamhetschef och sin underordnade arbetsgrupp. Denna mellanposition karakteriserar en av våra intervjupersoner som en hamburgare, där mellanchefen befinner sig mellan de två bröden i hamburgaren. Syftet med studien är att försöka förstå och analysera vilka konflikter mellanchefer inom försörjningsstöd kommer i kontakt med utifrån sin position och vilka orsaker det finns till konflikterna, samt hur de löser och hur de skulle önska lösa dessa konflikter.

Background: The description of different characters in soapoperas are often exaggerated to catch the viewers interest and to present an exiting content. The phenomenon that takes place in soapoperas can often relates to every-day- life-situations. The viewers should recognise them selves in the content, the imaginary situations and the characters should be normal but at the same time exaggerated and twisted to catch the viewers attention. This means that the characters in Rederiet should have connections to the real world and this makes it interesting to study how the different styels of leadership are descibed.Purpose: The purpose is to analyse and compare three choosen characters in the soapopera Rederiet, from existing leadership thoeries. To identify leadership on three hierarchical levels ? head of machinery, superintendent and captain ? and to analyse how leadership are descibed in the soapopera.

Sambandet mellan organisationsengagemang och relation till chefen

Anställda med starkt organisationsengagemang presterar bättre och stannar längre inom sin organisation. Syftet med föreliggande studie var att studera organisationsengagemang och dess samband med relation till närmaste chef (LMX), innehavande av chefskap samt kontakt med närmaste chef. En webbenkät besvarades av 224 medarbetare på ett svenskt telecomföretag. Resultatet visade ett positivt samband mellan organisationsengagemang och LMX. Villighet att bidra utöver kraven för sin chefs skull predicerade nivån av organisationsengagemang till störst del.

Upplevelserna av ett coachande ledarskap : och vikten av emotionell intelligens för ledare

Det coachande ledarskapet är ett ledarskap som fokuserar på samspelet mellan ledare och medarbetare. För att studera detta ledarskap så har syftet med denna undersökning varit att undersöka upplevelserna av detta ledarskap som personer med beteendevetenskaplig utbildning har. Resultatet visar att undersökningsdeltagarna värderar relationen mellan ledaren och medarbetaren som det grundläggande i ledarskapet. Förutom det coachande förhållningssättet i ledarskapet så handlar det också om hur ledaren är och vilka egenskaper han eller hon har. Det viktigaste är att ha kunskap om sig själv och sitt eget beteende som ledare och här är emotionell intelligens betydelsefullt.

Rektorer och grundskolereformer : Rektorers erfarenheter av reformarbete

Many political reforms are currently implemented in the Swedish schools. The trend indicate that education in Sweden follows neo-liberal restructuring policy, that highlights assessment, marketization and surveillance in different aspects. According to the new curriculum LGR 11 the school head is the school's educational leader with responsibility for the school's results and development. The reforms put new demands on the school heads tasks, their responsibility and leadership. The aim of my research study is to investigate how the school heads experience andhandle this situation.

Hälsosamt förhållningssätt mot stress: En kvalitativ studie om att vara enhetschef inom LSS i Kalmar kommun

Stress is part of everyday life and in the working conditions of the social services in Sweden. Thus each and every person has resources and strategies to cope with those stressors that construct the assumption of stress. The aim of this study was to understand how persons in leading positions of the LSS of Social Services in Kalmar experience and cope with stressors in their leadership and organization and to investigate what factors during working and non-working hours promote health. Influenced by the theoretical approach of Aaron Antonovsky´s Sense of Coherence seven qualitative interviews were conducted with persons in leading positions. They were asked about stressors, coping strategies, resources and health promoting factors that help to cope with stressors.

Mind Touch-en studie om positionering av Functional Food produkter i konsumentens medvetande

Syftet med uppsatsen är att analysera och studera hur man skapar en position för Functional Food produkten i konsumentens medvetande, det vill säga undersöka vilka positioneringsstrategier svenska Functional Food produkten har, och vilka marknadsstrategier företagen har använt för att skapa önskad position i konsumentens medvetande. Genom fallstudier undersöker och analyserar vi hur företagen har lanserat och positionerat sina Functional Food produkter mot intressanta marknadssegment. Syftet med fallstudier är att exemplifiera vilka positioneringsstrategier Unilever och Skånemejerier använt sig av och under vilka förutsättningar de har lyckats nå en position med sina Functional Food produkter på den svenska marknaden. Det empiriska materialet har kompletterats med expertintervjuer. Den teoretiska referensramen utgörs av tre teoriområden, Innovation, Diffusionsprocessen samt Positionering, där vi fokuserar på skärningspunkten mellan dessa.

Byggfel på plåttak : - Bristande kommunikation eller bara slarv?

The mistakes and failures on the roof are noticed during inspection of the construction, many of the commentaries are recurring. A contractor should only need to get a commentary once and then learn from the mistake. It has in this study been brought to light that the solution is not to tell the contractors to "stop slattern", it is more complicated than that. Today, the biggest problems are found in leadership, communication, feedback of experience and that the entrepreneurs take too little responsibility.To minimize the amount of commentaries all contractors need to work with a clearer leadership where the leader is both respected and appreciated. The leader must in an effective way be able to convey all the information to all employees.

Ka?ndisar i politiken : En ja?mfo?rande analys av Sverige och Finlands anva?ndande av ?ka?ndisar? i Europaparlamentsval

The main purpose of this study is to examine celebrity candidates in the European Parliament election in Sweden and Finland. The theoretical background assumes that candidate voting is beneficial in the election to the European Parliament. Previous research also shows that there are some opponents towards candidate voting, claiming it personalizes politics and it might lead to celebrities getting elected simply because they are well known to the voters.This study is a comparative analysis and analyzes the differences between Sweden and Finland when it comes to celebrity candidates. Furthermore, Max Weber?s theory on leadership will be used to categorize the celebrity candidates further.
