Kostnaderna för den arbetsrelaterade ohälsan i form av sjukskrivningar och produktionsbortfall är stora. De arbetsorganisatoriska faktorer som har störst betydelse för ohälsan är arbetsmiljön och ledarskapet. Ledningen är den faktor som i sin tur har möjlighet till påverkan på arbetsmiljöns utformning. Detta betyder att ledaren är den faktor som har störst möjlighet att påverka medarbetarens hälsa. Enligt vissa teorier kan ledarskapsbeteendet direkt kopplas till medarbetarnas hälsa.

Friluftspedagogik är en form av upplevelsebaserat lärande som man kan tillämpa under olika typer av friluftsliv. Genom reflektion och bearbetning av friluftsupplevelserna kan man lära sig ·om allt från ledarskap och friluftsäkerhet till att bli en helare människa. Friluftspedagogikens utgångspunkter och fördelar är personlig växt, samarbetsinlärning, lära känna sig själv, skapa sammanhang och helhet, alternativa livsvärden, miljömedvetenhet, natursyn, kunskaper i "vanliga" ämnen och kunskaper i friluftsliv. Rollen som friluftsledare diskuteras och jämförs med friluftslärarrollen och folkhögskollärarrollen. Det ges också i slutet av arbetet några praktiska tillämpningar av friluftspedagogik..

The aim of this thesis is to study what conceptions of literature that are present in the teacher magazine Svenskläraren between the years 1985 and 2012. In other words: what is the underlying view on literature's value as a teaching aid and why should we study it in school? I relate my analysis to previous research about the use of fiction in education. A critical methodology has been used to study the material. In my results I distinguish three conceptions of literature that are present in Svenskläraren.

In this textual analysis I have examined the book Att följa Jesus by Ulf Ekman and information from Word of Life's official website. The aim of this study is to see how a religious leader is shaping the identity of the groups members after a certain pattern that differs from the surrounding, secular society. The research focus  of this essay includes several aspects:  how a culture is formed in a religious minority in contrast to the prevailing cultural context; how the material can be explained by Paul Pruyser?s theory on the psychological worlds; how what Ulf Ekman writes about distinguishing themselves from the environment differs from how other religious minority groups distinguish their identity;  and,  how the psychological world, expected behavior, and context of Word of Life can be structured by Valerie DeMarinis? model of assessment. I have placed Word of Life in a realistic illusionistic world developed from Paul Pruyser?s theory of psychological worlds.

How does the idea of entrepreneurship for young people relate to media discourses? We have analysed magazines on entrepreneurship from the perspective of Faircloghs critical discourse analysis method to see how the magazines, by there own position in the entrepreneurships discourse, relate the idea of young entrepreneurship. The society wants more people to start their own business, why? The issues of the shift from youth as social problems to youth as entrepreneurs is discussed in the thesis as well as the scope and content of this discourse as a possible new ideal for youth in Swedish society..

The purpose of this project was to to find a way for textile patternsto talk about its own, and our, inevitable death. By doing so I hopedto incorporate questions about transience into daily life.I assumed that from a decentralized background position, patternson everyday objects have a unique ability to pose complexquestions that can be interpreted over time. The investigation wasinspired by how russian constructivists looked at everyday objectsas equals, and let them carry the spirit of the revolution.In the process I tried to find out how, and if, a philosophicalmessage can be transmitted through design and how differentcomponents of a pattern can work together to express that message.Resulting in two textile patterns with textile motifs, my workshowed that design definitely can raise metaphysical questions andmay as well have an advantage over art when trying to reach peoplein their own reality..

Med dagens teknologi kan man genom fotografier inte bara avbilda verkligheten, utan även skapa alternativa verkligheter. Den här studien har fokus på hur man kan skapa fotorealistiska montage och hur digitaliseringen av fotografi har påverkat fotografiets position som sanningsvittne. Genom en teknisk undersökning har två montage skapats i syfte för att granska tillvägagångssätt i skapandet av fotomontage. Det resultatet visade är att det är möjligt att kombinera fotografier till ett montage, som kan upplevas som fotorealistiskt på ett sömlöst och enhetligt sätt. Med hjälp av tidigare forskning och den tekniska undersökningen drogs slutsatsen att skapandet av sömlösa montage inte är oöverkomligt och att det bara är fantasin som sätter gränser då ett montage kan jämföras med en tavla.

This essay examines the Alberte triology, by the Norwegian writer Cora Sandel, from a gender/feminist perspective. Taking Yvonne Hirdman's theory about the gender system as a starting point I will show how the living conditions and the different roles of men and women are represented in the novel and how they are changing during the centuries before and after the First World War.I am particularly interested in Alberte, the main character, what attitude she takes to her position in the gender system and in what way she differs from the traditional female model. Is she a New Woman, a different ?species?, who doesn't fit into the rigid gender system? Does the New Woman have a male counterpart, and is he to be found in the novel? Does the novel give a positive vision of a future where men and women can meet as equals?.

The aim with this paper is to study Karl Popper?s view on realism and relativism. Further aim is to see whether those ideas have been consistent over the years. The paper argues that Popper since his first interest in philosophy has taken a realistic and antirelativistic attitude. Only his arguments for this position have been developed to meet his critics.Common sense speaks for realism but can neither be proven nor refuted.

This thesis was rendered for the client HAGS Aneby AB that is a global leader in playground equipment. The goal of this project was to develop a seesaw that is available for children aged 5-12 years; both with and without disabilities. The project has aimed to develop a seesaw that fits everyone in the target group without looking specially adapted.Children with disabilities have difficulty using today's seesaws because they consist of only a seat and a handle on each side. It requires that the user has strong arms and legs and can sit up without support. HAGS Aneby AB would like to change this.To gain knowledge of the target group and on the different types of disabilities information was sought for on the internet including the RBU's and UNICEF's websites.

Föreliggande kandidatuppsats handlar om att söka beskriva samverkan och konflikt i samband med naturresurshantering. Undersökningens forskningsobjekt är ett försök till lokal samförvaltning som togs av lokala invånare i Tivedsbygden, en skogsbygd i gränslandet mellan Västergötland och Närke. Visionen om detta hållbara naturresursarrangemang lyckades dock aldrig nås. Initiativet togs i samband med ett landsbygdsutvecklingsprojekt pågick under åren 2009-2011. Min tolkning är att detta försök präglades av samverkan och konflikt.

?Are the headwaters streams at the right position in the map? is a study that has been performed on behalf of Holmen Forest, region Örnsköldsvik. This study will be the basis for deciding if the Hydrology Layer Property map or Holmen Forest map will be used for planning nitrogen fertilization in forestry. The background to this study is that nitrogen fertilization near water will increase the risk of nitrogen leaching out into the water systems, which has a negative impact on the environment. The headstreams positions have been recorded in the field with a GPS and the data analyzed in the geographic information system ArcMap.

Dagens svenska samhälle har blivit allt mer etniskt och kulturellt diversifierat. Detta nya moderna och mångkulturella samhälle förändras både lokalt och globalt. Medier spelar en viktig roll i denna process. Utifrån ett postkolonialt feministiskt perspektiv undersöker denna uppsats mediekonsumtionen hos tio persiska kvinnor i Malmö. Hur denna konsumtion avspeglar sig i kvinnornas identitetsförhandlingar, etniska härkomst samt deras kulturella och transnationella position i samhället.

Syftet med denna studie är att identifiera styrkor och svagheter i byggandet av varumärket Asea Brown Boveri, ABB i Storvik. Det ska vidare påvisa om varumärket bör ompositioneras i kundernas sinne, och i så fall hur denna ompositionering skulle kunna åstadkommas. Studien baseras på litteraturstudier samt intervjuer med sju externa kunder och två interna medarbetare på ABB. Resultaten visar på tydliga brister i varumärket inom projektarbeten medan de inom ramen för service och reparationer har en relativt stark position på marknaden. En ompositionering av varumärket är därför nödvändig, vilket kan åstadkommas bland annat via utökade resurser och åtgärder inom marknadsföringen..

The Swedish Armed Force is one of the largest authorities in Sweden and has as its primary mission to be responsible for Sweden's military defence. Their unique activity - to participate in armed combat ? requires leaders who can make quick and rational decisions in uncertain and conflicted environments. This study aims to gain an understanding of how individuals with leadership roles in the Swedish Armed Forces are experiencing their leadership in relation to the organization's structure and culture. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, the following research question was created: How do individuals with leadership roles experience the influences of the organization's structure and culture on their formal leadership? The theoretical starting point is Weber's organization theory, Schein's organizational culture theory, and different definitions of leadership.
