Då glas blir vanligare i moderna konstruktioner ställs det högre krav på värmeisolerande förmåga. Cirka 35 % av en byggnads värmeförluster sker genom fönster. Detta ställer krav på tillämpning av energieffektiva fönster vid ny- och ombyggnad. Underhåll av fönsterkonstruktionerna är en oundviklig detalj och måste ske någon gång under en byggnads livslängd.

When drivers overnight in the truck lots of electric energy is consumed by heaters, fans, lights and other extra equipment. If the engine is not running, this energy is taken from the lead/acid batteries of the truck which then needs to be recharged during operating hours. The fact that the charge acceptance of the lead/acid batteries is dependent on the temperature makes it hard to fully recharge the batteries at lower temperatures. A negative charge balance can lead to starting problems within a few days use in cold climate.In this thesis work, the effects of different battery charging concept are evaluated on the most common Scania battery (175Ah). A battery model is implemented in Matlab and some simulations of charging are made.

The report is about efficiency of a current production group where there is no clear production flow and there are some buffers between the operations. The efficiency is done with the help of a tool that is calledWork process of flow production which is used by Atlas Copco CTO. Med andra ord är tanken att ha någon form av teknik som kontinuerligt avläser diverse egenskaper i en byggnad som exempelvis fuktighetshalten i väggarna, om ventilationen fungerar som den ska och halten av olika ämnen i luften.Det praktiska syftet var att verifiera om trenden kontinuerlig kontrollmätning efterfrågas genom att ta kontakt med branschexperter inom såväl byggbranschen som vissa andra parallella branscher och se om även de uppmärksammat denna. Under antagandet att de gjort det, var intentionen vidare att försöka urskilja de så kallade lead users. It helps us to catch a moment, a piece of reality and restore it in our ownway. This case study is performed within the production of Sherwin-Williams, Bellö. The purpose is to increase the understanding how a value stream can function more efficient, from a lead time perspective. With the analytical model that is build up on known theories, the purpose have been fulfilled. The work describes the development of an adjustment algorithm that will replace today?s manual adjustment of Lead- and Lag-filters at ABB Robotics industrial robots. The adjustment is mainly for the filter parameters in the control system.Three different algorithms have been created to replace the manual adjustment. One of them is based on the criterion from the manual adjustment and another one on optimization of the sensitivity function. The last one is a combination of the two.The report describe the development of the algorithms and how they behave during simulations and tests on real robots.
