Syfte och frågeställning: Uppsatsen undersöker vad de som går sitt första år på Högskolan i Halmstad (HH) (www.hh.se) tycker om högskolans hemsida. Förutom detta undersöks deras användning och behov av hemsidan, vilket kan vara intressant för utvecklare eftersom det skapar djupare förståelse för studenters åsikter. Utvecklare kan genom vår uppsats få kunskap om nödvändiga förändringar för en mer användarvänlig hemsida. Föreliggande uppsats koncentrerar sig alltså på att generera djupare förståelse om varför studenterna exempelvis tycker något är dåligt eller bra. Metod och material: Vi valde att genomföra sex kvalitativa intervjuer i form av fokusgrupper där respondenterna berättade om sina behov samt visade oss hur de tar sig till olika platser på hemsidan. Därefter uttryckte de åsikter om vad de tyckte om processen och om hemsidan överlag.

Utbudet av tidningar är idag brett. Inom tidskriftsbranschen konkurrerar magasinen om konsumenternas uppmärksamhet i hopp om att konsumenterna ska köpa just deras tidning. En faktor som kan påverka dem att konsumera är omslagets utseende. För tidningsmakare gäller det att utforma ett attraktivt omslag vad gäller bild, färg och textpuffar. Omslagets utseendet är av stor betydelse för lösnummerförsäljningen, vilken i sin tur utgör en stor del av tidningsupplagan.Syftet med undersökningen är att undersöka utseendet på fyra modemagasins omslag.

Svensk hälso- och sjukvård är en informationsintensiv bransch som står inför en stor utmaning avseende de informationsteknologiska lösningar som används idag och hur dessa lösningar bör utvecklas framöver. Vårdpersonalen efterfrågar att den teknologi som används ska vara flexibel och anpassad till arbetssituationen samt följa flödet i patientprocessen. För att utveckla lösningar anpassade till vård och omsorg som kan stödja användarna i deras arbetssituation krävs att metoder utvecklas utifrån användarna och deras arbetskontext i en distribuerad arbetsmiljö. Genom att ta fram sådana metoder utifrån ansatsen distribuerad kognition blir det möjligt att identifiera informationsflöden och de verktyg som används utifrån de fysiska förutsättningarna i arbetskontexten. Distribuerad kognition utgår från att människans tänkande ses som ett fenomen som utgår från social, kulturell och kontextuell interaktion samt interaktion med artefakter, Kognition anses på så sätt vara distribuerad.

The town square is an important public space and is often described as the city´s living room. By creating a lively city center a sense of security is developed among the citizens which makes them wanting to use the town square regardless the time of the day. One important meeting point in Gävle is the centrally located Stortorget, sited between Drottninggatan and Nygatan. The town square went through an extensive renovation followed by both positive and negative reactions among the City´s inhabitants.  The aim with the study was to investigate the main walking paths and meeting points as a planning support to Gävle Municipality in their work with a new city plan. By studying the pedestrian movement patterns at Stortorget, Nygatan and Drottninggatan, the main walking paths and meeting points during all hours of the day was obtained.

This is a bachelor thesis about arable land in Varberg, from sustainability and it?s relation to local government and management. Arable land has become more important as a natural resource from a global point of view and in concerns of higher demands of food supply, as a result of population growth, higher consumption worldwide and climate change. But the arable land in Sweden is being exploited an increasingly rapid pace and the arable land in Varberg is not an exception of this development. The issue is most topical and the discussion holds questions about a declining agricultural sector, the formal and administrative protection of arable land and because other interests of land use often is given higher priority in community development and planning.

For the company to work well, it is necessary with a good economy, a high qualitative production and a well working system concerning the environment: the whole cycle on the farm needs to be working. At the same time, debaters about the environmental impacts are also requiring higher demands for the dairy farmers and therefore also the management programs. Management programs for feed evaluation calculations have been more developed over the years. Big amounts have been invested in the new feeding system with NorFor, but no one seems to have asked the dairy farmers what they themselves want to spend their money on, and what they need help with. For the dairy farmers it is necessary that the whole company is controlled in the right way, and much more than just feed evaluation is included in this.
