Utvärdering av olika metoder för framställning av höjdkurvor från laserskannade höjddata
Lantmäteriet (the Swedish mapping, cadastral and land registration authority) has been laser scanning Sweden since 2009. From the laser scanned data a digital elevation model (DEM) in grid format, with a resolution of 2 m, is produced. This DEM is called GSD-Höjddata, grid 2+ and from its data and the laser point cloud itself (in the form of a las-file) contour lines can be extracted. Lantmäteriet has not yet done this, but plans to update the contour lines in their cartographic products exist. If this is to be done in a satisfactory way an evaluation of different methods for it is needed.

One of the main methods of manufacturing is laser cutting. When Lars Höglund AB signed up a new customer, with high demands in tolerances for the products, Lars Höglund AB thought it would be necessary to know the capability of the laser cutting machine. Also the process of how to retrieve this capability was interesting. The capability will be researched for the following elements: Cutting right angles in squares with a corner radius of 1 mmCutting corners which are not right angleCutting of circles with constant radius Measurements were made on 150 pieces of sheet metal details, which had been cut out by the machine. The data from the measurements where later used to study the capability.

Sweden?s forestry legislation was updated in 2010 and a new definition of forest land was introduced. This definition was adapted to the one used by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for international statistics on the state of the world's forests. It is in short based on the lands ability to grow forest that reaches 5 meters, 10 % canopy closure and has a continuous distribution, according to FAO at least 0.5 hectares. A country-wide laser scanning is now carried out for the production of a new national elevation model; the laser data also provides information on forest height and density.

Micronic Laser Systems AB produces and develops machines for the photo mask production market. One of their products is the Omega machine which exposes photo masks using 5 laser beams simultaneously. It is important that the distance between the each laser beam, the x-separation, is the same. The x-separation is today measured by exposing a photo mask with a certain pattern and thereafter measured with a metrology system. This takes to much time and it is desired to find a faster method to measure the x-separation without loosing precision.The task for this master thesis is to improve an existing measurement method which uses a calibration mask.

Background: Peripheral arterial disease (PAD), as a consequence of atherosclerosis in the arteria of the limbs, affects one of ten Swedes older than 65. PAD can develop slowly and silently, and involves an increased risk for cardiac infarction and stroke. Measurement of the patient´s ankle blood pressure and calculation of the ankle-brachial index is an evidence-based method to discover PAD. Objective: To investigate how district nurses and general practitioners perceive this method of examination and experience possible obstacles to why it is not more commonly applied at primary health care centres. Method: Data collected by semi-structured interviews have been processed by qualitative content analysis with a manifest onset.

This degree project has been carried out in cooperation with Enertech AB in Ljungby and is pilot study to automating all current manual soldering. The soldering process accounts for a large part of the processing cost in the production of a heat pump. The process is also a quality risk and has a major impact on the lifetime of the final product.The Main task of this project has been to evaluate automation of the soldering process, to develop automation solutions and a principle layout, to draw the design changes required for the automation and to calculate the supposed solution.This pilot study has resulted in a suggested automation solution using laser as a heat source for soldering. Calculations of the solution show that a automating a laser soldering cell is very profitable..

Data retrieved from airborne laser scanning represents a new source of forest data. Today, the technology has matured so that it can function in an operational environment. The aim of this study was to compile areas of application of laserdata in forestry. Moreover to analyze costs and accessibility of laserdata. The goal was to provide private forest owners information to support assessments of possible benefits of laserdata.

Bakgrund: Preeklampsi är en allvarlig graviditetskomplikation som drabbar kvinnor över hela världen. Sjukdomen är den största orsaken till gravida kvinnors ohälsa och dödlighet.Syftet: Syftet med studien var att kartlägga vilka övervakningsmetoder som används vid preeklampsi samt studera evidensen av metoderna.Metod: Författarna har genomfört en litteraturstudie. Detta har genomförts genom granskning och sammanställning av litteratur samt databassökning i PubMed för att finna vetenskapliga artiklar. Till resultatet valdes femton vetenskapliga studier.Resultat. Evidens finns för att följa blodtryck- och urinkontroller som påvisar förändringar i sjukdomen.
En jämförelse mellan TLS och UAV-fotogrammetri : Inmätning av hårdgjorda ytor
At present day there are several different methods for measuring of paved surfaces.The most common methods today are measuring with a total station, the GlobalNavigation Satellite System (GNSS) and terrestrial laser scanning (TLS). Recently thedevelopment of unmanned aerial vehicles, known as drones, has increasedexponentially and today there are several ways of using drones for measuring surfacesby photographing and laser scanning.This thesis contains a comparison between the methods terrestrial laser scanning(TLS), and unmanned aerial vehicle photogrammetry (UAV). The measurements havebeen applied on two different test surfaces, one of asphalt and one of gravel. Thepurpose of the comparison is to investigate whether the airborne photogrammetry isequivalent accurate in its height levels as the terrestrial laser scanning. For thecomparison to be more extensive, these two methods have not only been comparedin precision but also in the areas of ease of use and economy.The precision was analyzed by comparing the height levels in randomly placed controlpoints on the test surfaces.

Redan vid olika stadier av tillverkning kan man avgöra om produkten motsvarar en viss förutbestämd standard. Den här rapporten kommer att undersöka vilka eventuella problem mätning av kvalitet med laser har i industrimiljö. En konceptuell modell över hur mätning av dornprofiler kan genomföras kommer att presenteras med fokus på att väga tidsåtgång mot exakthet för att skapa en balans som är acceptabel för företagets krav. En beslutsfattande algoritm kommer även att presenteras där ett avgörande ska ske om mätresultaten är rimliga eller beror på fel i mätutrustningen.
Laserexperiment för grundskola och gymnasium
This report discusses the development of lessons based on laborations for middle and high school.The purpose of the project was to research the possibility to affect students' attitude towards physicsthrough well-planned stimulating lessons. The lessons were based on the Light and Lasers OutreachKit, a teaching package made by the organisation Laser Classroom, and have been adapted for physicsin middle and high school. The lessons were developed on a pedagogical and didactical ground andwere improved with surveys and peer and self assessment. The lessons were based on laser light and itsproperties. One lesson covered the topic of single-slit diffraction, while the other treated geometricaloptics.
Hudblodflödesmätning vid uppvärmningsprovokation med laser Doppler flowmetry teknik
Bakgrund: Populationen av äldre kommer att öka kraftigt i Sverige. Samtidigt indikerar populationsökningen att antalet sjuka äldre och behovet av vård och behandling kommer öka. Det är därför av vikt att utöka den geriatriska kompetensen i Sverige. Studier avseende sjuksköterskestudenters attityd gentemot geriatrik och äldre har utförts i Sverige men studier som studerat sjuksköterskestudenters uppfattning av geriatrisk omvårdnad är få.Syfte: Syftet var att undersöka uppfattningen av geriatrisk omvårdnad hos sjuksköterskestudenter i termin 6.Metod: Webbaserad enkätstudie med sjuksköterskestudenter i termin 6 vid Blekinge tekniska högskola våren 2015. Totalt distribuerades 64 enkäter ut vilket resulterade i en svarsfrekvens á 59 % (n =38).Resultat: En majoritet 81,6 % (n = 31) av studenterna ansåg att de erhållit god baskunskap i geriatrisk omvårdnad under grundutbildningen till sjuksköterska.
Framkomlighetsanalys med hjälp av en digital terrängmodell och kartdata
Driveability analysis of terrain data offers an important technique for decision support for all kinds of movements in the terrain. The work described in this report uses a high resolution digital terrain model generated from the laser radar data and further processed by the Category Viewer program, and information from the Real Estate Map. Properties of features found in a filtering process are calculated and compared with a set of rules in a knowledge base to get a driveability cost. This cost is then visualized in a graphical user interface. An evaluation of what driveability is and what it is affected by is performed, and a general cost function is developed, which can be used even if not all relevant information is available.
