Publication of science fiction has a tradition in Sweden. Adult-fantasy does not. In recentyears, the 1980's, Swedish publishers have realised how profitable fantasy is. Of the totalpublication of the two genres between 1989 and 1994, 54% was science fiction and 46%was fantasy. The reason for this even balance is that fantasy-books get reprinted more frequentlythan science fiction-books.

We wish to explore what are the meanings and implications of diversity for the employees of each company, how their discourses on diversity reflect hypocrisy in the organizations and if and how national context has an impact on discourse on diversity.Methodology: Interviews were conducted, transcribed and codified. Comparison and evaluation of the different discourses were examined around diversity and in the talk of interviewees within the two companies.

This paper aims to determine what is decisive for localisation of production units when a company engages in offshoring. By performing a case study on Electrolux and comparing the results with theoretical literature we discuss the implications for manufacturing companies in general. To facilitate a structured analysis we have developed a model dividing the localisation decision into five perspectives and four geographical levels. We have found that the determinants of localisation vary depending on the geographical level of the decision process. Since all geographical levels are interconnected, the analysis needed for a decision on all levels simultaneously is very comprehensive.

This paper is a critique of an article in the Swedish magazine Filosofisk Tidskrift (Philosophical Magazine), in which professor Per Bauhn maintains that there is something wrong with having a group perspective in moral and political matters. In this article Bauhn makes three conclusions. The first one is that you violate Hume's law if you draw the conclusion that something is an oppression only from descriptive premises, which for example communitarians does according to Bauhn. He argues that ?oppression? is a normative term, and therefore it requires at least one normative premise.

HMS Networks AB develops, produces and sells communication technology for industrial automation. The product handles communication between a variety of protocols. The product treated in this project is an Anybus X-gateway Modbus-TCP Master/Client and this module is currently configured from a web-based interface. In doing so, the flexibility for handling protocols is limited to what the company chooses to add to the interface. Therefore the company had a request that the flexibility should be extended using a script language.

Cambodia, in Southeast Asia, has tropical monsoonal climate with distinct dry and rain seasons. Many people are poor and live in rural areas. Farmers mainly culture rice, and raise pigs, cattle and poultry as well. During two months, a minor field study was performed in Cambodia. The main purpose was to evaluate the impact of contributions done by projects that started in 2005 and were managed by the local organization CelAgrid.

However more than half of Sweden?s municipalities donot consider changing climatic conditions when planning, and many times even allow theconstruction of new living areas in known climatically vulnerable areas.

In search of a stage language that resonates in historical disciplines, I have explored the possibility to expand my performing arts through the language of Indian classical Odissi, through different forms of storytelling. In my work I have focused primarily on two projects inspired by the original scripts of Macbeth by William Shakespeare and Breaking Bad by Vince Gilligan. I have outlined examples of methods and techniques used in the process.The work also shows how Odissi has evolved from a religious and philosophical tradition of temple dance; into modern stage theatre performance.The work aims to connect Odissi with western performing art. In this process I have been using my own knowledge about Odissi as a tool in combining both the traditions, a fusion in action.I will physically examine the artistic idiom, the characteristics, the actions and deeds found in stylized Odissi imagery and symbols, traditionally used to embody mythological and epic stories. NCC ROADS Sweden east is a part of the NCC Corporation. The company mainly produces aggregates, asphalt and concrete. They have taken the environmental issues seriously and been working with that since the middle of the nineties. When manufacturing asphalt large a quantity of fossil energy is needed. The company is now about to make further progresses by manufacturing environmental friendly asphalt (?green asphalt?) with using bio-energy.

Arbetet syftar till att ge en bild av dramats möjligheter inom språkundervisningen och består av två huvuddelar; en litteraturdel samt en undersökningsdel. I teoridelen belyser jag begreppet drama ur ett antal synvinklar samt presenterar ett antal inlärningsteoretiker för att se om jag hos dessa kan hitta stöd för att drama kan gynna elevers lärande. I undersökningsdelen undervisar jag i dramainspirerad engelska i två åldersgrupper och låter sedan eleverna utvärdera denna undervisning med hjälp av en skriftlig enkät. Jag avslutar sedan med en slutdiskussion vilken visar att drama kan gynna elevers lärande på ett flertal olika sätt. En dramainspirerad språkundervisning kan bl.a.

Abstract:According to the curriculum of the Swedish school the pupils should develop their historical consciousness. The aim of this study was to find out which pupils develop this consciousness by listing to an historical novel, talking about that book and writing stories. The study went on for four weeks and the subject of the teaching was the Middle Ages. 28 pupils took part and a variety of methods were used: 1: questionnaire about the lives of the pupils, 2: Making observations of their attitude to the teaching and 3: story writing. The results show that the social background does not influence the development of an historical consciousness.

Jag har undersökt en tvåspråkig pojkes kodblandning. Pojkens mamma talar finska med honom och pappa svenska. Pojken är mellan 2;3 och 2;5 under undersökningsperioden. Jag ville undersöka om pojken utvecklar sina två språk så som murgrönehypotesen förespråkar. Hypotesen är utformad av Petra Bernardini och Suzanne Schlyter.
