Under våren 1995 fattade Norrköpings och Linköpings kommuner beslut om att etablera ett regionkontor i Bryssel. Enligt beslutet skulle kontoret vara verksamhet i tre år, efter det andra verksamhetsåret skulle kontoret utvärderas. Detta innebär att kontoret var en treårig försöksverksamhet och först efter utvärderingen var gjord skulle huvudmännen fatta besluta om kontoret skulle övergå till att bli enpermanent verksamhet. Under våren 1998 gjorde undertecknad en utvärdering av East Sweden Brysselkontoret på uppdrag av huvudmännen. Den kvalitativa intervjuundersökning som gjordes i samband med utvärderingen har varit ett viktigt empiriskt bidrag för denna uppsats.I uppsatsen studeras bland annat hur klara målsättningarna var med kommunernas etableringar av EU-kontor och hur hög medvetenhet som fanns.

The goal of this work has been to search historical materials, to identify the park's historical development, to prepare proposals on measures and that work should be the basis for further research. The aim has been to train us in searching for and use of materials and to gain an understanding of the process of work with older plants. In the process we have sought and found materials in archives, through literary and oral sources, and email contacts. Because of its excellent location perched on an islet in the low landscape Näsbyholm was long a fortress. The old castle on Näsbyholm was from the late 1400s but the site was fortified much earlier. The islet was at this time completely surrounded by water and there was a drawbridge over the narrow waterline. The owners are liable since the late 1200s.

I denna uppsats har jag fortsatt den ndersökning av svenska inlärare av franska som påbörjades i min C-uppsats. Avsikten har varit att studera om de språkliga avvikelser från den franska normen som upptäcktes i den förra studien kvarstår även denna gång då studien inte längre gäller vokaldurationer utan istället det tonala förloppet och final förlängning.Svenska inlärares prosodiska konstruktioner har studerats och jämförts med mönstret för fransktalande referenspersoner. Antagandet var att man skulle kunna observera tydliga, och därtill likartade, avvikelser från den franska normen - avvikelser som eventuellt skulle kunna härledas till det svenska modersmålet och de prosodiska skillnaderna mellan språk med betoningsbaserad respektive stavelsebaserad rytm. Informanterna utgjordes av två grupper av svenska inlärare av franska, den ena med informanter som enbart lärt sig franska i svensk skolmiljö och den andra med inlärare som därutöver under en period även vistats i en franskspråkig omgivning. Tydliga avvikelser från den franska normen märktes för samtliga svenska informanter men någon inbördes gruppering bland inlärarna kunde inte noteras.

Two species of bees in the genus Apis, real honey bees, has long been of interest for man. These two are the European honey bee, Apis mellifera, and the Asian honey bee, Apis cerana. In Vietnam, beekeeping is of great importance, both with A.cerana and A.mellifera. The aim of this project was to investigate if the introduction of the European honey bee in Asia has affected the Asian honey bee, and whether different pathogens from A.mellifera have been transferred to A.cerana. Totally 40 samples, 20 from every species, were analysed for 8 different viruses.

This report presents suggestions and recommendations on how to convert an old industrial building, built in 1958, to an office hotel. One of the main criteria was that the floor plan should be flexible. The building is situated at Jonsereds Fabriker and the study was conducted for Hantverkslokaler i Göteborg AB, the estate owner.The survey is initiated with study visits at various office hotels, together with studies of literature regarding office planning. One conclusion from the study visits is that meeting-places, where the different companies can meet and exchange ideas and services, are important. Another one, and probably the most important parameter when planning offices is that they should have windows.

India is the country with the highest prevalence of rabies in the world, with about 20?000 human deaths occurring every year. The country also has a heavy burden of free roaming dogs, mainly because of the high amount of edible waste in the streets, which are the main hosts for the disease. Therefore to truly extinguish rabies, the main focus should be on the dogs, both stray dogs and owned. One method is to vaccinate all dogs against rabies.

Uppsatsen presenterar genom en litteraturgenomgång synen på dagens grammatikundervisning, dess bakrund, argument och strävansmål. Dessutom innehåller uppsatsen en presentation av Michael Hallidays funktionella grammatik och dess möjliga tillämpning i skolundervisningen och vid textanalys. Avslutningsvis förs en kort diskussion kring funktionell grammatik och en meningsfull grammatikundervisning..

Mitt syfte är att i detta arbete söka svar på bland annat Har det alltid funnits grammatikundervisning i den svenska skolan?, Har Lpo förändrat inställningen till grammatik? och Uppfattas grammatik som tråkigt och något nödvändigt ont? AbstractThis is a story about the Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme and his struggle against USA´s war in Vietnam in the late 60´s and the early 70´s. We follow the young Palme from his childhood to his travels to America and Asia, there he learns what true poverty means. Further we see Palme change side from his conservative background to a new social idealist. In Prag he learns to truly mistrust communism, an ideology he later in life paradoxical will be accused to stand for. Palme´s politic interests seems to take a great step forward when he starts to write articles in the Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet, there he?s writings take more and more colour from Palme´s own politic stands.

This study was made in an attempt to give the forest research centre Mógilsá a producedtetratherm map and a better understanding of how topography and temperature influencethe growth of two tree species. The digital tetratherm map model, covering the northernpart of Iceland, was developed to investigate the correlation between tetratherm and thegrowth of Picea sitchensis and Larix (sukaczewii + sibirica). The study confirms theusefulness of digital terrain models in providing data for a lot of different factors and forthe tetratherm model. Hopefully will this tetratherm map be used in future studies.Secondly, investigations were made correlating the growth of the two species againsttopographic factors representing height above sea level, distance to the sea, slope andtopex. Thirdly, investigations were made comparing the aspect and the ground shape tothe growth.The growth rate of Larix had strong significant correlations to the tetratherm and thedistance to the sea- factors.

AbstractAccording to several researchers finance is scarce, scarcer for small businesses than for big enterprises. Small and medium-sized enterprises, SMEs, that want to start exporting and sales or manufacturing abroad need capital to get ready. Which capital structure and financial costs do they have, and which forms of finance do they actually use for that purpose. New american research by Mansi, Reeb (2002) has suggested, that there is a positive connection between leverage and a negative one between financial costs and internationalization, and that a non-linear model better describes this connection.This study has gathered data in two ways: Through a questionnaire from 37 SMEs and balance sheet figures from totally 166 manufacturing SMEs. In order to examine, whether the company was active on the international market, 200 SMEs in south Sweden were asked, if they exported to, produced or sold on any other market than their home market.

The Swedish language has for over six hundred years been under influence of foreign languages. Nowadays, it is the English language that undoubtedly affects it in largest scale - even though both French and especially German have had a serious influence through history. In an inquiry by behalf of the Swedish Government, named Mål i mun ? förslag till handlingsprogram för svenska språket (2002), one of the conclusions was that journalism is an important area that has to be under linguistic supervision to avoid a gradual weakening of the Swedish language. It is also a known fact that the Swedish sports writers has a tendency to use a lot of English words, even though there are equivalent Swedish ones applicable.
