The purpose of this essay is to explore how I can meet children with different kinds of attention deficit disorders. What can I do when the child kicks me and makes me cry? How can I handle it right so that the child and I can feel good? In my text I am writing about how I can prioritize my way when I am angry. I wonder how to prioritize my feelings and feel safe with the other person. I am developing these questions in my text.

This study is an attempt to shed light on the importance of fiction as a bridge between different cultures and traditions. The objective of this essay is threefold. First it explores the potentiality of fiction as a communication channel between different cultures, societies and social groups. Secondly, it studies the availability of foreign fiction in Swedish language. And thirdly it tries to approach and analyze the structures and mechanisms behind that availability.

The devicedeveloped for Mr. Car Bilvård AB inUppsala, the company's work involvespassenger transport and courierservices. The company needs anexternal device that meets theenvironmental standards to wash theirown cars in the premises without theneed to modify or reconstruct on thepremises ground as the premises is ona leased contract.Work began with a preliminary study onthe literatures that describes boththe function and structure ofdesigning the device. A few interviewswith other car wash companies had beenimplemented, and some measurements.After collection of the necessaryinformation the specifications ofcustomer requirement was presented .With these requirements a fewconcepts was generated and weighedusing the Pugh matrix for conceptsselection for further development.The final concept was furtherdeveloped and a design has beenpresented.
Modersmål genom barnböcker : en kvalitativ studie om modersmålsstödet på en förskola
The purpose of my study has been to find out how mother tongue teachers working in preschools where a majority of the children have a mother tongue other than Swedish make use of fictional children?s books during the mother tongue support lessons. In order to determine this, I am asking the following questions:- What is the range of children's books in the children's mother tongue available at the preschool?- In what ways are the native language teachers encouraging literacy development through the usage of children's books?- How do native language teachers view the childrens? linguistic development as well as the enhancement of cultural identity through the usage of the books?These questions have formed the basis of the methodical approach, which is based on a qualitative research method. The data collection consists of three parts; the observation of mother tongue support, interviews with language teachers as well as with the nursery manager and lastly a survey of children's books in languages other than Swedish at the preschool.The essay has as its theoretical basis the socio-cultural view of learning and development.

The main aim of my research essay is to examine two congregations, one in Sweden and one in Democratic Republic of Congo, how theology and the life in the church shape the cultural context. The analysis uses semi-structured interviews of two pastors responsible for organizing the Easter celebration in their churches. The interviews serve the purpose to reveal how they apply theology in their context, how they interpret the Easter celebration liturgically in relation to the early church and how they perceive the cultural development in the congregations Easter celebration 2010-11. To give complementary insights to the interviews I use computer-aided interviews with members of the congregations. The methodological approach is based on a study of contextual theological theories, Easter traditions in the early church, Easter theologies and then applying these theories in the interviews.
En jämförande studie av grammatikundervisningen i Sverige och England.
Intresset för språk gav mig idén att undersöka hur grammatikundervisningen fungerar i dagens skola. Jag ville inte bara göra en undersökning om den svenska uppfattningen, utan även ta del av ett annat lands åsikter. Valet föll på England. Min tanke är att en sådan undersökning skulle kunna ge mig en klarare utgångspunkt för det kommande arbetet med språkundervisningen och ge en vägledning när det gäller att förbättra elevernas kunskap och förståelse för språkets betydelse. I arbetet vill jag försöka komma fram till om och hur eleverna finner samband mellan grammtikstudier, läsning, skrivning och annan färdighetsträning.
Läromedel och metoder
Syftet med mitt arbete har varit att jämföra två läromedel i tyska för svenska nybörjare, år 7, från två olika tidsperioder för att utreda om det finns skillnader och om så är fallet , vari dessa består. Jag har studerat olika språkundervisningsmetoder som florerat i Sverige under 1900-talet och försöker se ett samband mellan läromedlens upplägg och den metoddiskussion som förts under respektive tillkomstår. Jag går i kronologisk ordning igenom olika språkundervisningsmetoder och vad som kännetecknar dessa. Därefter presenterar jag de två läromedlen och gör en jämförelse dem emellan med anknytning till metoderna. Jag kommer fram till att läromedlen skiljer sig åt och jag finner tydliga tecken på att båda läromedlen är starkt påverkade av och konstruerade utifrån de metoder som varit dominerande under tillkomståren..

Computerized methods for searching pictures are becoming more common. With these it ispossible to make powerful search requests using a combination of terms and search oncomprehensive descriptions of the pictures. The descriptions can encompass various aspectsof the content and allow different interpretations and levels of detail.This essay is about how you can examine and describe the content of a picture from manypoints of view. We have tried to identify differences in searching behaviour, and studiedsome methods for indexing of pictures. Our concepts are taken from the philosophy of artand from theories about the meaning of languages.In the future perhaps libraries can make pictures and illustrations in books available to thepublic, in a sophisticated system, for the purpose of providing visual documentation forstudy, research or other kinds of exploitation..
Visualisering av anläggningsinformation för underhåll
This project has created a web-application for the service technicians at the paper plant Gruvön. The project was outsourced to the IT-company Sogeti.The application visualizes information about reparation-work of the equipment at the paper plant. The displayed information is work-orders, the status of the work-orders and errors. It is also possible to see the costs and hours spent on reparation-work.. The work-orders and related information is stored in a relational database.The application is created mainly for web-browsers in mobile-phones and tablets.

Abstract My purpose of doing this study is to investigate the culture of delivering education in a strange combination of subjects labelled ?Language choice Swedish/English?. The activity however exists without curriculum, syllabus or certification. I want to put study the problem of delivering an educational activity without national certification. I will use a hermeneutic approach and render properly the headmaster?s, the teachers? and the students? views on the activity in one school.

Ett rikare språk med bildmunta : Vad är ett rikt språk och kan bildskapande stimulera till ett rikare språk
A richer language when painting before speaking? ? What is a rich language and can painting stimulate towards a richer language?In this work I seek to answer two questions. What may a ?richer? language mean and does it become richer when the informants, as a preparation, paint what they are going to talk about in front of the class, than when they do not paint? This I try to do by studying earlyer research about how to measure the richness in languages and by analysing video recordings of speeches when the students in an sfi-class (Swedish for foreigners) painted or did not paint before the speech, and by analysing the richness in their language. The result is my own definition of what rich language is in this context, and a conclusion that painting stimulates the students to use more words and to use specific words that they need to bring the audience their message..
Språk för alla?
Syftet med det här arbetet har varit att ta reda på om alla människor har samma möjligheter att tillägna sig språk. Jag har velat ta upp olika teorier om hur man lär sig ett språk samt att redogöra för individuella skillnader vid språkinlärning. Jag vill även undersöka elevers och lärares attityder till ämnet grundspråk och se om eleverna påverkades av att de inte får betyg i ämnet grundspråk. En stor del grundar sig på litteraturstudier men jag har även en undersökande del där jag via enkäter undersökt elevers och lärares tankar om grundspråk. Genom mitt arbete har jag dragit slutsatsen att alla inte har lika lätt för att lära sig språk.
Utvärdering av grafisk utvecklingsmiljö för programmering av signalprocessor
This work aims to evaluate the possibility of using a graphical programming language to develop software for a digital signal processor. A fixed-point digital signal processor called Blackfin BF-537 is used for this. Instead of using conventional programming languages, like C or assembler, for software development the possibilities to use a graphical environment to fill the same purpose are examined. The development environment primarily used is NI LabVIEW, but also the use of Mathworks Matlab Simulink is investigated. A variety of programs consisting of various signal processing operations and utilities are developed using these development environments.
