Furthermore, peat lands have been drawn upon the maps, by using the information from geological maps.A landscape variable have been compared between Bronze Age places and Early Iron Age houses; the soil type. On Bronze Age places gravel is the most common, while moraine marl is the most common on places with Early Iron Age houses. From a selection that were made, all Bronze Age places where within 3 km from the water, either the recreated shoreline or peat land.
Nationellt miljökvalitetsmål på lokal nivå : en fallstudie av arbetet med miljökvalitetsmålet Ett rikt odlingslandskap i Lunds kommun
Several thousand years of human impact on the landscape in the form of cultivation is the
reason to many nature- and culture values in the agricultural landscape today. Intensification
and rationalization has led to vast monocultures and has forced many farms to close down.
These trends have increased in the last years and constitute great threats to the values of the

landscape is to protect these values.
The environmental action plan of the municipality of Lund (LundaEko) 2006-2012 is built on the
16 national environmental objectives. The purpose with this paper is to put together material that
the municipality of Lund can use in their work with modifying the local intermediate goals for
the environmental objective A varied cultural landscape. The overall issue for this paper is
?What has happened with the state of the cultivation landscape in the municipality of Lund since

Konstlandskap : ett projekt om en konsthall på Bergdala gård, Kivik
Abstract
? What is an exhibition hall?
? How do you create tension between art and
nature?
? Why should an exhibition hall be situated in the
country
side; would that add to the experience?
? What are the conditions of exhibiting
contemporary art?
These are some of the questions I first asked
myself when I came to work with this project on
an exhibition hall outside Kivik, Österlen. These
questions brought me to new places, meetings and
ideas.
The team working actively to realize this
project, calls it ?Art by the Sea?. The team has
been working with the project since 2001 .
När rummen råder : En studie om skolan som disciplinerande rum

Public Hear Aid
This project started when LIC Audio AB wanted help with development of a hearing aid for public rooms. The problem is that a lot of people suffer from some sort of hearing impairment. In places with a lot of people and background noise the problem becomes bigger and the sound seems to flow together. During the project we found the solution for the problem in the shape of a headphone. The headphone receives a signal from a preinstalled hearing loop.

Provrumsbelysning
The fitting room is an important part of a clothing store, it's often where the customer decides if they want to buy the garment or not. Therefore it is important that the customer can feel safe and comfortable when they are trying the clothing. A typical fitting room in Sweden today has only one bright spotlight that emits light either towards the face or from the ceiling above. This study explores possible lighting solutions that take into account the customer's experience in the fitting room. The study aim to increase understanding of the importance of a good light in fitting rooms, so that customers gets a nice experience and that clothes, body shape and facial features are shown in a natural way. The issue therefore included how lighting can affect the customer's perception of the clothing and how the perception of body shape, facial features and the clothes change in different lighting solutions. To answer these questions, observations were made in various clothing stores, followed by an experimental study divided into two parts.
Interactivation design : places for social imagination and conversation in Lindängelund
This master project in landscape architecture is named Interactivation Design - places for social imagination and conversation in Lindängelund. There are two main purposes of this thesis the first being to bring forth a study of interactivity implemented in the subject of landscape architecture. The second purpose of this thesis is to present a proposal to design a confluent landscape weaving together the upcoming botanical garden of Lindängelund and the residential area of Almvik, both situated in southern Malmö, Sweden, and also weaves people and their experiences together. This project may be described as investigative and experimentative reaserch by design. The first part of this project, Interactivation, is consisting of a theoretical report which discusses different ways of approaching when, how and why we interact in public space. Literature studies in for example space, placemaking, social life, people, participation and Japanese emptiness concepts has been undertaken to gain knowledge in the aim to create interactive landscape design. The second part, Context and Design Proposal, introduces the project context area of Southern Fosie in Malmö which consists of different kinds of residential areas, people of different nationalities and a large building site for a botanical garden and recreational area.
Projektioner - subjektivitet och ansvar i gestaltandet :
With this paper my aim has been to investigate my subjectivity and responsibility as a
landscape architect and to find ways to relate to it and handle it in my work.
When I advocate a certain concept for a project, I influence the outcome, and in doing
so I take on a personal responsibility. Even though my judgement is built upon facts and
cooperation with colleagues and other consultants, I am always responsible for the part I
play and how I affect the course of action. To what extent can I advocate my view and
is it actually my responsibility to do it? How is my subjectivity part of my knowledge
and influence as a landscape architect?
I have interviewed three well known Swedish landscape architects to have their view on
the matter. Since they are all strong individuals with huge experience and influence, the
personal responsibility they bring upon themselves for their design action is as
important.
I have also used one of my own projects as a case study, analysing my design and
standpoint and my relationship to the client to illustrate how these questions emerge
even in the smallest projects.
In the last section of the investigation I have searched for clues in diverse literature.
This section is divided into three view points; the society, the profession and the
individual..
Recovering common ground : landscape architecture as a tool for post-conflict recovery and spatial reconciliation in divided cities
The following chapters examine landscape architecture
which engages in contested territories with an emphasis
on the way in which landscape architecture can engage
with the issues of divided cities or landscapes with similar
social, cultural and physical properties. The project focuses specifically on the potential landscape architecture
has for promoting or aiding in the reconciliation process
of these areas, by examining the following questions.
How can landscape architecture be used to benefit the
peace building process of divided cities and landscapes?
How can landscape architecture be used in the process of
promoting spatial reconciliation in the case of Belfast?
The investigation begins with a description of the background to the project in Chapter 1, which functions as a
brief introduction to the urban phenomena that is divided
cities. It then goes on to introduce the different methods
and data employed in order to answer the research questions
in Chapter 2.
After introducing the problem and the methodology, a
global overview of divided cities is performed in Chapter
3. This chapter is divided into two sections.
Status och hotbild för den oceaniska laven broktagel Bryoria bicolor i sydvästsverige :
Horse-hair lichen Bryoria bicolor is a red-listed lichen species in the category Vulnerable. It is an oceanic lichen and it is often found on boulders and cliffs in a semi-open environment with a high humidity in the agricultural landscape. The species can also be found as an epiphyte on trees, mostly in boreal forests in the provinces of Dalarna, Härjedalen and Jämtland. In the agricultural landscape, there has been indications on that B. bicolor show a decline, and this studie aimed at examining the extent and causes of this decline.
