The globalization of today?s society has enabled consumers to acquire products and services from all over the world. Global organizations have the entire world as a playfield and offer products and services across markets. Regardless perception and transparency of the global market, consumers are still individuals. Consumers may have different perceptions and ideas about products, their functions and usage.

There are no set guidelines on how to interpret the criteria?s in the adjustment rule within the meaning of the companies act. The criteria?s are not discussed in literature and the Swedish case law in this area is very limited. A reason for the limited use of the adjustment rule is the slow and very costly process, which does not grantee the outcome of the case.

The Swedish government has proposed that 20 % of the cultivated land in Sweden should be organic by the year 2010 (The Swedish Board of Agriculture, 2008). In addition to this the production of organic food like milk, meat and egg should increase considerably. To reach the government?s goal it is necessary that the Swedish farmers get motivated to convert their production from conventional to organic. Milko is a dairy association that has chosen to focus on organic products, they want to be the leading organic dairy association, and therefore they have a large need for organic milk (Milko, 2008).

We have chosen to write our examination essay about Ukraine, we wanted to find out what kind of possibilities there is to run a farm there, and also find out what kind of problems that might arise. Ukraine is still heavily influenced by Russia and the legacy from the former Soviet Union. The agriculture today looks pretty much like it did before the collapse of the Soviet system. There are large governmental or cooperatively owned farms. The large farms have to deal with bad cash-liquidity and they often have trouble getting a hold of seed and artificial manure to their whole acreage.

In this study, we looked at how balanced the various christian denominations in Sweden were raised in the news, on the basis of the requirement for balanced reporting. To measure the balance, we utilized Harcup and O'Neill?s news values and studied to what degree these values occurs in association with news articles that address the various denominations. The following denominations were selected for this study; Word of Life, the Pentecostal Church, Jehovah's witnesses, the Catholic Church, the Salvation Army and the Swedish Church. These denominations were then studied on the basis of news values in four of Sweden?s largest news organisations, in terms of audience numbers.

Studien är uppdelad i tre delar och belyser den invandrade individens syn på sina möjligheter till utveckling i det nya landet. Första delen heter det ofrivilliga arvet, barn till invandrare och belyser unga invandrares syn på framtiden. Andra delen heter Det sociala skyddsnätet och belyser en rad olika skyddsnät och hur de hjälper den invandrade att komma på fötter i det nya landet. Diabetes mellitus är ett världsomfattande problem. Diabetes typ 2 är den vanligaste formen av sjukdomen. Forskning visar att utlandsfödda patienter ofta har en annan uppfattning om vad diabetes innebär jämfört med vårdpersonal, vilket kan leda till missförstånd i vårdsituationer. Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva hur patienter med diabetes typ 2, och med ursprung från ett annat land, upplever och hanterar livet med sjukdomen i ett nytt land. En litteratursökning genomfördes och 11 kvalitativa vetenskapliga artiklar samt en doktorsavhandling analyserades.

The structure and performance of grocery distribution in Sweden has changed profoundly since the second world war. Increasing access and usage of the private car, in combination with an accommodating town planning has enhanced the exploitation of scale economies within distribution firms. There is, however, some ambiguity concerning the overall efficiency of the distribution system when the costs associated with travelling and purchasing performed by households are treated as an integrated part of the total distribution cost function. The purpose of this master thesis is to develop the foundation of a spatial optimisation model, which defines the most efficient distribution system. The underlying idea is that the optimal localisation and size of grocery stores is a function of economies of scale within the firms weighed against distributions costs within the households, such as transportation costs.

Den amerikanska historien har visat att USA är ett land som till hög grad påverkar andra staters politik och ett land som inte låter sig underkuvas. Vi ämnade att med hjälp av statistik undersöka ett eventuellt samband mellan analys¬enheterna, arbetslöshet och BNP, och stöd till presidenten för att se om det finns ett samband till presidenters val att använda sig av avledande taktik i form av att gå in i väpnad konflikt.Resultatet av undersökningen blev att det inte gick att påvisa en genomgripande trend bakom valet att gå in i väpnad konflikt med Vietnamkriget och Irakkriget (2003) som fallstudier. Vad som åskådliggjordas var att de båda presidenterna använde sig utav idealpolitik för att rättfärdiga invasionerna för folket. Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att titta närmare på vad som ligger bakom när Svenska företag beslutar om att internationalisera sig. Företagen vet att det är kulturella skillnaderna och för att minska dessa och de språkliga skillnaderna anställer de inhemsk personal. De politiska faktorerna ser företagen inte som en faktor som påverkar valet av land då det är ett problem som är snarlikt i alla länder i Asien.

The philosopher Heraclitus has been renowned for a great amount of time. Despite that fact the remaining fragments of his work have just recently been assembled to the composed form they have today. Among these fragments there are a couple of terms that stands out amongst others; one of them is the term logos. The main focus of this thesis is devoted to the mystery and usage of the term logos, which comes into a great display in fragment number 50.The ambition of the thesis is to evaluate and compare three interpreters? readings of Heraclitus while having a close focus on his usage of the word logos in fragment 50.

 The aim and scope of this study is to describe the coordination of joint efforts concerning chemicals and hazardous substances in the Baltic Sea region, between the Swedish Chemicals Agency (KemI) and the land-based pollution group of the Helsinki Commission (HELCOM LAND). Based on the description of the coordination, the second aim is to discuss the consequences for the Swedish Chemicals Agency in its policy shaping work towards a nontoxic environment. A qualitative and descriptive case study method is used for this purpose. Theories of coordination and achievement-inducing criteria for environmental goals are applied to the case. Components and related processes of coordination are applied to the descriptive part of the study, whilst the achievement-inducing criteria are applied in the discussion.

Föreliggande studie syftade till att undersöka medias eventuella inflytande och dess kraft att styra läsarnas attityd till ett annat land genom inramning och val av information. Påverkas individer av nyheter som är avsiktligt inramade och där informerandeprincipen kan förväntas träda in? Studenter (N = 90) från en svensk högskola testades via fiktiva nyhetsartiklar i fem versioner.
