Hur människor upplever att få diagnosen påverkar synen på sjukdom och framtid. Människor som får sjukdomen är i behov av stöd från vårdpersonal. Syfte: Beskriva vuxnas upplevelser av stöd efter att ha fått diagnosen diabetes mellitus.

The most dominating type of company in Sweden is the small-sized business and it usually lacks its own marketing department. The purpose of this paper was to analyze several small Swedish businesses which are specialized in different sectors of the Mechanic/Technology industry but they are similar in terms of having niched products and they are leading companies in the world. The objective was to do research about how small businesses work with marketing despite its lack of resources and capital.This survey has shown that customer contacts, customer relationships and especially for those investigated companies, it was very important to focus on globalization and product development in order to build a Point of Difference..

The purpose of this thesis was to examine if there where fallacies in the design solutions for the business system IFS Applications from a user perspective, and if so, correct these from a cognitive science approach.Data collection consisted of three main portions. These where; workshop, individual interviews and observations. The collected data was analyzed and resulted in identification of two main areas in the application that where found lacking.The result of the study showed that the usability for processing large amounts of data and the lack of customization where the main flaws in the application. Two low fidelity prototypes where created with the purpose of rectifying the underlying flawed design solutions that where identified from the collected data..

The purpose of the study is, through literature and interview studies, to analyze and draw attention to critical mindedness regarding news features in a multilateral way. In the interview 16 participants got to see three SVT news features with lack of criticism. Great importance was given to the spontaneous reasoning of the participant. The study is explorative and has given a number of hypotheses and ideas for further research concerning the subject. Among other things the study shows that previous beliefs affect the critical mindedness of the individual, that individuals have the ability to think critically if reminded and that the trust of the source and medium affects the critical mindedness of the individual..

The aim of this report is to analyse the use of the capacity at the CNC (computer numerical control) cutters and show how the level of set up time for these cutters at Stålöv AB. This assignment is concrete whereas there are no subjective questions to this matter and there are only cold figures presented.Production economy is getting more important as the competition hardens and there are several different ways to increase productivity and efficiency in a company. In order to increase productivity and efficiency work studies are used to, through an analysis, find developments in methods that result in improved work methods and to establish the time that are used. Increased production of different parts and customer driven production in combination with increased demands on rationalisation of capital have led to an enlarged interest for shorter set up times in the production.To point out the use of capacity and the set up time of the cutters at Stålöv AB we used frequency studies. Frequency studies are work measure methods based on random observations on predetermined events to calculate the relative occurrence of these events.

Problem: Vilka faktorer är avgörande för kulturföretagarens förutsättningar att förena det konstnärliga skapandet med överlevnad som företagare?Syfte: Det övergripandet syftet med denna uppsats är att analyser och utvärdera kulturföretagares marknadsstrategier med avseende på deras förutsättningar att förena konstnärligt skapande med överlevnad. Studiens underliggande syfte består i att analysera och utvärdera kulturspecifika starthus och deras inverkan på kulturföretagares marknadsstrategier.Metod: Studien utgår från en hermeneutisk, kvalitativ och deduktiv forskningsansats. Studien använder sig av metodtriangulering och empiri samlas in med hjälp av surveyundersökning med semistrukturerade intervjuer. Intervjuerna har hållits med sex stycken kulturföretagare, där hälften startats upp via kulturspecifika starthus och hälften startats upp på egen hand.Teorier: Studien använder sig av följande teorier; involveringsteorin, Värdekedja/Värdestjärna samt Industriella nätverk.

Background: A health damage that has been specifically related to nursing is pressure ulcers. Pressure ulcers are a complication caused by disease, care and treatment and can result in great suffering for the patient. Pressure ulcers can affect people both physically and psychosocially and is experienced, by most patients, as a serious and unnecessary complication of care. Today there are hundreds of identified risk factors for pressure ulcers described that can be divided into patient and care-related risk factors. A successful pressure ulcer prevention and treatment is to reduce or eliminate the underlying causes for the development of pressure ulcers, prevent deterioration and to treat existing ulcers.

Karolinska universitetssjukhuset bildades i januari 2004 genom en sammanslagning av tidiga-re Huddinge Universitetssjukhus och Karolinska sjukhuset. Medias bevakning av organisa-tionsförändringen har varit omfattande och de politiska beslutsfattarna har jobbat med att förmedla bakgrunden till sammanslagningen. Fusionen genomfördes för att effektivisera sjukvården och därmed förbättra vårdkvaliteten. En viktig del i effektiviseringsprocessen var att koncentrera den högspecialiserade vården och på så sätt även stärka dess konkurrenskraft. Syftet med denna uppsats var att ta reda på om patienterna vid Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset har uppfattat några effekter i form av förbättrad vårdkvalitet samt om det finns skillnader mellan beslutsfattarnas och patienternas uppfattning om avsikterna till sammanslagningen.

Participation, public art and participatory public art as phenomenons and subjects have been studied and discussed. With interviews and observations as a base, we have studied projects and discussed participation, effect and quality in relation to these. Furthermore we have looked at how the participatory art processes work in Sweden and England. This essay seeks to discuss the process of participatory public art and to emphasize the elements contributing to the quality of this process. It is up to us as planners to recognize the possibilities for a qualitative place. To mediate between different interests, for example between politicians and stakeholders, between economics and quality, between the place and its users, between individuals and the community, and in our case between artists, users and the municipality. Public art has gone from being about the product, an art piece, to becoming more of a process, from non interactive to interactive. Participation ranges from receiving information to play an active part in the process. Four cases have been studied, taken both from Sweden and England, showing the diversity of processes connected to Participatory Public Art. From interviews conducted in Sweden and England information and thoughts have been received and they show a higher degree of use of participatory public art in England, and also a higher consciousness.

This project is about color and light and how it affects the atmosphere in the city. I choseto look closer into the central parts of the city, a place where I often feel a lack of lightand color, especially during the winter season. In the beginning of the project I made ananalysis of how intense colors are used in the city and how we can use color as a tool tocreate effectful spaces. Further into the project I chose to look closer into the effects thatare made by the facades, how the light from the windows affects the room outside when the dark falls. At the end of the project I caught a feeling inspired by the city and applied it into an installation of light..

Självskadebeteende definieras med att personen skadar eller stympar sin kropp upprepade gånger utan självmordsavsikt. Sedan 1990-talet har det skett en ökning av inläggningar med självskadebeteende som orsak och är vanligast bland kvinnor i åldrarna 15-24 år. Problembilden är komplex och sjukvården står många gånger handfallen och osäker i hur beteendet ska bemötas, vilket leder till att personal inte vet vilket förhållningssätt de ska ha i omvårdnaden. Studien gjordes enligt en metod för interventions studier. Syftet med denna studie är att i samband med en utbildningsintervention beskriva personalens process i sin förståelse av bemötandet av personer med självskadebeteende.

Background: Patients with borderline personality disorder represent a large group in healthcare who are struggling with painful emotions in life. Caring should be based on strengthening health processes by focusing on the patients, but research made by the patient's perspective has shown that this population rather felt that their health processes was counteracted, than promoted. The patients felt that the nurses displayed a negative attitude towards them. Attitudes are defined as a system of values, emotions and actions towards others. Aim: the purpose of this study was to highlight the attitudes and experiences of nurses towards caring for people with borderline personality disorder  Methods: A study on the literature based on nine scientific papers was performed. The articles have been analyzed, systematically coded and compiled into a new unit. Results: This study shows that nurses have an overall negative attitude towards patients with borderline personality disorder.

The aim for this essay is to investigate students attitudes to a local schoolboard with student majority to determin the level of functionality, relevancy and interest for this schoolboard among the students in a Swedish gymnasium in Örebro. This is done by distibution of a questionnaire form to a third of the students in the third grade . The results show that the attitudes overall amongst the students are positive, although the level of interest is low. One explanation for this low level of interest could be the lack of information from the school board to the students..
