Kundens förtroende och bild av fastighetsmäklare i Karlstad
Hälsans Trädgård is a project which is going to start in Gamla Linköping, Sweden. The authors were commissioned by Arbetslivsresurs, a company working with work rehabilitation, to select, define and make job analyses on five work tasks at Hälsans Trädgård in Gamla Linköping. A job analysis means an analysis of the demands the job make of the individual. The job analysis used in this study is called The Revised Handbook for Analyzing Jobs (RHAJ) and is from the US Department of Labor (DOL). As RHAJ is an American instrument, the authors produced a form where the concepts are translated into Swedish to make the analysis easier.

In recent years it has become way more important for organizations to use their brand to market themselves as an employer. In a market where organizations are competing for Labor it has been known that the brand can make it possible for organizations to differentiate themselves as unique and attractive place of work. The concept is called Employer Branding and if an organization wants to suceed they have to have a clear and defined structure. The concept is well known among private organizations and not as common with the public sector. The purpose of this study was to examine how a small municipality in northern Sweden is working to be an attractive employer.
Kriminalvårdares hantering av känslor ur ett genusperspektiv
Denna studie syftar till att ge en beskrivning av hur manliga och kvinnliga kriminalvårdare på en anstalt hanterar känslor i sin yrkesroll. Vidare hur manliga och kvinnliga kriminalvårdare hanterar de intagnas känslor och sina egna känslor? Finns det några skillnader i känsloarbetet ur ett könsperspektiv och om det finns, vilka är skillnaderna? Utefter studiens syfte valdes en kvalitativ forskningsansats som utgångspunkt. Studien innehåller sex intervjuer med tre manliga och tre kvinnliga kriminalvårdare. Insamlingen av empiriskt material skedde genom semistrukturerade intervjuer.

To meet the needs and demands of the costumer, accurate information about how much is available in stock is necessary. When the information in the system does not match the physical inventory, inventory inaccuracy occurs. Inventory inaccuracy is common among companies and may contribute to increased Labor cost, excess inventory, production disruptions, waste of time, late deliveries, poor service and lost customers.The purpose of this study is to identify contributing factors to inventory inaccuracy for business with outdoor storage. The study also aims to investigate how efficiency factors can reduce the inventory inaccuracy for business with outdoor storage.A case study was conducted to answer the purpose. A company in the steel industry was chosen to examine inventory inaccuracy on business with outdoor storage.
Ett samhällsengagemang som Skapar Shared Value - En studie om hållbarhetsstyrning och Creating Shared Value i en svensk kontext
This study investigates the corporate sustainability activity, linked to the company's core business, which is a relatively unexplored field in a Swedish context. The study examines how the organization has used management control for its sustainability activity within two social initiatives; and whether these initiatives have generated value for the organization and involved stakeholders. Management control of social initiatives are examined within the theoretical framework of The Sustainable Balanced Scorecard and the organization's value creation contributions are outlined in accordance with a definition of the concept of Creating Shared Value. The method used for the implementation of the study is a qualitative study, embodied in an illustrative case study of a large Swedish company operating within financial sector. The empirical data was collected through 12 in-depth interviews with representative interviewees within the organization and with other stakeholders involved in the company's social initiatives.
Det dolda arbetet för utsatta kvinnor : De professionellas upplevelser av arbete med utsatta kvinnor
Assignments and organizations working with exposed women are more and more common in the Swedish society. Both authorities and nonprofit organizations are working actively to strengthen women?s position in the Labor market through incentives and other measures. The study shows that the work with exposed women takes place in cooperation between the parties involved. The purpose of this qualitative study was to look into how the professionals were working with exposed women, in different types of organizations.

It used to be a demand that Social workers and personnel at Child and adolescence psychiatry had interdisciplinary colLaboration, today it is more then a demand it is a requirement. The aim of this study was to understand how the personnel at the Social services and Child and adolescence psychiatry look at the cooperation between the two organizations in Sweden.To be able to accomplish this study we have interviewed four persons employed at the Social services and three persons employed at Child- and adolescencepsychiatry all of them were interviewed individually. To be able to analyze our material from the interviews we have used new institutional organization theory and Goffmans dramaturgic perspective at teams. The interviews showed that there is colLaboration between the organizations on all levels, but that the organizations have different priorities.
Arbete över företagets gränser : En studie av organisationstillhörighet för konsulter i bemanningsföretag
Since the late 1900s, the consultancy has taken a firm grip on the Labor market. The consultants' work profile has been secured through agreements such as guaranteed wages. The collective has been shattered as well as higher demands are required of the employee. This results in higher work demands, workload, a reduced staffing resource and hopeless wages which can lead to health problems and depressions. Previous research shows that consultants find it stressful to be associated with two companies and some clients can also point out consultant through different attributes.

Abstract The subject of this thesis is the priority rules that apply in connection with mining activity. Already back in the 1800s, there were rules in the so-called Lego Charter concerning protection of workers, mainly servants. When the first modern trade union was founded in the 1870s, also developed a collective agreement. These agreements were the order of priority clauses had to intend to ensure employees' working lives. Exceptions had to be done by ensuring that individual employees' dependents. In 1974 the Act on employment entry and had intended to protect older workers.
Tala är silver, men är tiga guld? : En studie av den socialdemokratiska regeringens kommunikation till väljarna, åren 1994-2006
In this study, I have examined the previous Social Democratic government?s communication with the voters, focusing on its promises during election campaigns, and the presentation of achieved results. The theories used are the mandate- and sanction theory; the first focuses on voters comparing manifestos to find the most agreeable, whilst the latter concentrates on voters evaluation the work of the previous government, to either discharge or support it. For the sanction theory to work, voters must have the necessary information to evaluate the government in progress. The question is; did the previous government provide the voters with such information?This has been done through scrutinizing the Social Democrats? election manifestos that was used between 1994 and 2006, to examine what the party promised to achieve in economics and the Labor market.
Konsultchefers upplevelser i yrkesrollen : En kvalitativ studie om konsultchefers rollhantering, känsloarbete och ledarskap på bemanningsföretag.
Vi har undersökt konsultchefer på ett bemanningsföretag. Syftet med studien har varit att ta reda på hur de upplever sina olika roller, vilket känsloarbete de utför i dessa roller, samt hur ledarskapet ser ut i chefsrollen. Vi har utgått från ett individperspektiv och med kvalitativ ansats intervjuat sex konsultchefer på ett bemanningsföretag, för att ta reda på vår frågeställning: Hur upplever konsultcheferna sina olika roller (som chef och säljare) och vilket känsloarbete utför de i rollerna mot konsulter och kunder? Denna har vi besvarat med hjälp av tre huvudsakliga teoretiska ramar: Goffmans (2009) dramaturgiska teori, Hochschilds (2003)teorier om emotionellt arbete och slutligen Sandahl et al.s (2010) teorier om chefens roll i organisationen. Undersökningen visade att konsultcheferna upplever det vara viktigare att ?hålla rollen? som säljare mot kunder, än rollen som chef mot konsulter.
Stadsodling som begrepp i Sverige - bakgrund, nulägesbeskrivning och tänkbar utveckling
The structural rationalization of rural firms in Sweden has led to many new creative ways of developing companies. The agriculture sector is characterized by the need of capital in form of buildings, Labor and inventory. The rationalization process has led to free capacity in rural firms when new technology make buildings and inventory not longer necessary for the production process. To get a better cost coverage this free capacity can be used to start-up new business areas that help the rural firm to growth.The study aims to identify factors that motives entrepreneurs in rural firms to develop new business areas. The purpose is also to analyze driving forces that lies behind development of rural firms and the forces that support or not support development in rural firms.The study is built upon five cases that all can be categorized as firms with different size and orientation.
Högtider och traditioner i förskolan : en kvalitativ studie om fem förskollärares beskrivningar och reflektioner kring firandet av högtider och traditoner i förskolan
This study is about the work around festivals and traditions that takes place in multicultural preschools. The purpose of this study is to describe and reflect upon the work around festivals and traditions in multicultural preschools from the view of five preschool teachers who are active in their profession. The purpose is also to investigate which festivals and traditions that are given attention at preschool and for what reason according to the preschool teachers.The method of research chosen in this study is qualitative in the form of individual interviews with the intention of obtaining and interpreting the descriptions and reflections of the informants around the subject. The results will be analyzed from an intercultural perspective.The results show that all investigated preschools celebrate the traditional Swedish festivals Christmas, St. Lucia?s day, Easter and Midsummer, and that these festivals take up lots of space in terms of time and Labor.

AbstractThe employer is obliged to initiate negotiations with the union organization to which the employer is bound by a collective agreement. This applies both to decisions which imply a substantial change in workplace operations or employment conditions of the individual employee. In case law this obligation has been very extensive through all cases that have been up in the Swedish Labor court. Due to this fact the employer?s duty to negotiate has been interpreted very broadly.
Kvinnliga nätverk - ett sätt att göra skillnad? : En fallstudie på nätverket Q80 och dess mentor program
Sweden is known to be one of the world?s most equal countries. Nevertheless, out of Sweden?s 262 listed companies, only seven of them has a female president, which is equal to 3,4 percent. To counteract these numbers there are several possibilities. One arrangement that is highly controversial is affirmative actions. But there are other options, for instance more and more female networks are starting to rise and many of them also offers a mentoring program where the mentee gets the opportunity to learn from someone with more experience.The purpose of this study is to examine what difference the female network Q80, with focus on its mentoring program, is doing for the mentee. As an underlying purpose the study is also examining what visions and attitudes the management and the mentors is communicating within Q80. The focus is mainly on the visions of Q80, menas mentors and business exceeding mentorship. A survey has been carried out among mentees from three different seats of mentoring programs where they have answered 19 different questions regarding their time as a mentee. Furthermore interviews have taken place with the management of Q80 and two mentors. The results are analyzed based on theories about gender, women in management, leadership, mentoring program and organizational structure. The result shows that Q80i as a source of inspiration and a support for the category of "career women" with its core mission to strengthen the participation of individuals on a personal level more than to work to even out the gap in the Swedish Labor market.
