Carl Gustav von Brinkman was born in Nacka, Sweden 1764 but in his eleventh year he was sent away by his father to the Herrnhuter school in Niesky to become a missionary. Brinkman developed other plans. The experience of the school as a place that censured his thoughts and hindered his development, took an early start and grew stronger. He tried to convince his teachers in the congregation that they should allow him to attend the university in Halle, but they wanted his father to decide. His father then threatened to exclude him from the family if he went to Halle.

AimThe aim of the study is to find out if, and in that case how, the sports movement creates and reproduces norms and values regarding sex and sexuality. Questions to be answered are: Which experiences do non-heterosexual women have of everyday activities in the Swedish sports movement? How are norms on sex and sexuality visible in practice? Are there mechanisms/practices that challenge these norms? Finally, the results are discussed in relation to two policy documents from the National Organization of Sports (RF); ?Sports Wants? and ?Policy and plan of action against sexual harassment and sexual discrimination within sports?.MethodSince the aim was to understand, and not to generalize and quantify, a procedure of qualitative interviews was chosen. Ten non-heterosexual women were interviewed concerning their experiences of the Swedish sports movement. They were active (or had recently been) at different levels in the following sports: basketball, soccer, floor ball, ice hockey, bandy and volleyball.

Syfte och frågeställningar: Studien syftar till att undersöka vilka bakomliggande faktorer det finns för attityder till arbetslösa och hur dessa har förändrats under perioden 1986-2002. Utgångspunkten är att undersöka vilken inverkan politiska sympatier, erfarenhet/kontakt med arbetslöshet och reell arbetslöshet har på attityderna till arbetslösa. Den huvudsakliga frågeställningen är vilka samband man kan se mellan dessa tre variabler och attityder till arbetslöshet. Metod och material: Studien bygger på statistiska analyser av studierna Åsikter om den offentliga sektorn 1986 samt Åsikter om den offentliga sektorn och skatterna 1992, 1997 och 2002. Logistisk regression har varit den statistiska metoden som använts för analysen. Huvudresultat: Resultaten visar att erfarenhet och kontakt med arbetslöshet till viss del har samband med attityder till arbetslösa. Den viktigaste faktorn bakom attityderna är dock politiska sympatier.

This essay is aiming to go through and study the most important and frequently mentioned terms and titles used in the letters of Paul to denote and describe God, the Father, the Son and the Spirit. These include ?Christ? and ?Lord? as well. The purpose has been two-fold: on the one hand I wished to study the background and meaning of the concepts in question, as used by Paul; on the other hand ? and this has been my main concern ? I specifically wanted to look at what kind of language Paul uses to denote Father, Son and Spirit in terms of their attributed characteristics, roles and theological functions.

Den esoteriska teosofin har fått betydelse för det moderna sekulariserade samhället  framför allt genom New Age-rörelsen under 1900-talets senare del och den gav redan under seklets första årtionden upphov till nya andliga rörelser i Europa och  USA. Man har ofta glömt dess förankring i det sena 1800-talet. Teosofin, kunskapen eller visheten om Gud, har visserligen en betydligt äldre historia men den rörelse som skapades i Amerika på 1870-talet av Helena Blavatsky och hennes sympatisörer kom att överleva och kom att mer än hundra år senare vara aktuell i den moderna andliga rörelse vi kallar New Age. Det Teosofiska Samfundet, bildat i USA 1875, gav även upphov till flera vitala sidogrenar som till exempel Antroposofiska Sällskapet, Temple of the People, the Arcane School, the ? I AM? Religious Activity, the Church Universal and Triumphant och Liberala Katolska kyrkan vilka idag fortfarande bedriver aktiv verksamhet.De böcker och tidskrifter som 1800-talets esoteriska teosofer gav ut var ingen lättfattlig eller enkel litteratur och lästes företrädesvis av människor med den tidens bildning.

AbstractIn this essay I am examining the representation of popmusic with particular focus on gender and identity in two youth magazines called Kamratposten and Julia. Using the method of Norman Faircloughs critical discourse analysis I have studied ten interviews with popmusicians from each magazine based on the theorys of representations, discourses within popularmusic and queer theory. The intention with this study was to examine how popularmusic is represented in youth magazines. If the magazines were reproducing femininity and masculinity in the interviews with the musicians, and in the representation of popmusic in the magazines. And also if there were any differences and similarities between the magazines regarding the representation of popmusicians.The analysis lead to the conclusions that how popmusic is represented in the magazines depends on what the magazines wan´t to represent on the basis of their target groups and ideologies.

Hilma af Klint är en av de mest uppmärksammade kvinnliga konstnärerna ur sin tid trots ellerkanske på grund av att hennes bilder inte uppmärksammades förrän 45 år efter hennes död. Detta faktum samt att en stor del av hennes livsverk var andliga, mediumstiskt framställda bilder gör dets vårt att placera bilderna i en konsthistorisk kontext. I denna C-uppsats undersöker jag framförallttre aspekter runt Hilma af Klints och hennes livsverk med tempelbilderna. Jag har med hjälp avqueerteorier undersökt hur utanförskap och avsaknad av sexualitet kan ha påverkat Hilma af Klintsbildskapande. Jag har intresserat mig för en roll som Hilma af Klints bilder tycks ha, som kartor och manualer för andra andliga sökare.

Tidigare kringgärdad av vallgrav ligger Svaneholms slott vid en liten sjö i Skåne. Tre av defyra längorna är kvar från danskt 1500-tal. Den fjärde tillkom vid sekelskiftet 1700, efter atten äldre på samma plats nedrivits till grunden. Mitt arbete har till stor del gått ut på att genomegna analyser revidera tidigare uppfattningar om slottets historia.Svaneholm byggdes i en period vilken präglades av oroligheter, en stark adel och en oerhördbyggnadsverksamhet i denna samhällsklass. Utifrån historiska källor verkar Svaneholm hatillkommit under 1530-talets första hälft.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to examine similarities and differences in qualitative experiences between formal and informal reading groups from the participants? point of view. The empirical data was acquired from interviews with nine reading group participants, of whom four of them participated in formal reading groups and five in informal reading groups. To analyze the empirical data, Louise M. Rosenblatt?s theory concerning reading and a method concerning reading groups by Immi Lundin were used.

Denna uppsats handlar om arbetssituationen för enhetschefer inom kommunal äldreomsorg, i en delad organisation. Delad organisation innebär att utredningar och prövningar av de äldres behov och beslut om bistånd särskiljs från ansvar för det faktiska utförandet av hjälpinsatserna. Ansvar för utredning och beslut har en biståndsbedömare och ansvaret för utförandet av insatserna har en enhetschef. Syftet är att undersöka hur samordningen mellan enhetschefen och biståndsbedömare i den delade organisationen gynnar och/eller motverkar utförandet av besluten och hur man organiserar denna samordning. Jag har valt att studera detta ur ett enhetschefsperspektiv.

Introduktion Till yrket är vi narkossjuksköterska och operationssjuksköterska. På det sjukhus vi arbetar är de flesta patienterna inneliggande på vårdavdelning i ca två till tre dagar i samband med att de skall få gallblåsan borttagen med laparoscopisk titthålsteknik. Det är väl känt att på andra sjukhus, i synnerhet utomlands, har man börjat operera patienterna dagkirurgiskt dvs. att patienterna kommer till operationsavdelningen på morgonen och åker hem på eftermiddagen eller kvällen. Syfte Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att belysa patienters upplevelser av pre- och postoperativ omvårdnad när hon/han genomgår dagkirurgisk laparoscopisk cholecystectomi. Metod Det är en litteraturstudie baserad på elva vetenskapliga artiklar, publicerade mellan åren 2001- 2005. Artikelsökningen skedde i databaserna PubMed och CINAHL. Resultat Vid granskning av artiklarna framkom att merparten av patienternas upplevelser vid dagkirurgisk laparoscopisk cholecystectomi var smärta och illamående.

Two different persons claimed the title of al-Mahdi, at the end of the nineteenth century. Theyappeared almost at the same time, at the totally different places of the earth, with a completely different message and underthe rule of the British colonial power. The aim of the study is to compare the both religious figures, Mirza Ghulam Ahmadfrom India and Muhammad Ahmad from Sudan regarding their different messages, to illustrate the social, political andreligious factors that lead to the entirely different profile and image of these two men and how their organizations havedeveloped after their death up till today.

The purpose of this thesis is to show how a good approach can be designed, focusing on the southern approach to the Swedish town Vilhelmina. Prior to the car being part of everyday life, the approach was a road where the town showed itself from the very best side. When the amount of traffic increased, so did noise and other disturbances, and as a consequence industrial areas replaced the residential buildnings at the approaches. Today, the pendulum is turning back and in recent years the approach is regarded as a place to introduce the town. The approach is also the place where cars should slow down from the speed of the main road to the speed of the city.

In 1993 Sweden introduced a new Forest policy, with a larger freedom of action for the forest owners, but in the same time the forest owners are expected to take greater consideration of the forests and the environment, that is required by the law. This is necessary to be able to obtain the goals of the new policy. Therefore the demand for competence and guidance is larger than before. At the same period of time organisations where slimmed and trimmed during a economic recession and the question is how this has affected the number of employees on different levels in the organisations, the competence of the employees and their internal education and if these changes affects the possibility of implementing the forest policy. This study contains three points in time where measures were made, 1990, 1995 and 2000.
