The purpose of this study is to find out what preschool teachers think about antisocial children's literature. Based on five qualitative interviews with teachers at a preschool that works with a standard critical approach. In order to fulfill my purpose with this study, I focused on how these teachers felt that it was important to use the standard critical children's literature in preschool. I wanted to find out what the teachers' thoughts were on the concept of standard critical children's literature and how and whether they use it in their daily activities. When I analyzed the results of my interviews I used the queer theories that include standard critical pedagogy and literature in preschool.

The subject of this master level thesis in historical osteology, is a study of waste management in the medieval town of Lund. The aims of the study is achieved through looking at the taphonomic aspects of bonefragments from the quarter Blekhagen. The study is divided in two separate sections, one that is a litterature study of what is known about waste management, and another one that contains a taphonomic and spatial analysis. Through examination of the taphonomic variables weathering, average weight and trampling and a spatial analysis, I am able to deduce that there are signs of controlled waste management in the material. It is not possible to draw any general conclusions about waste management in the medieval town however.

The purpose of this essay is to analyse and compare pneumatology in Eftertanke in Kyrkans Tidning, in a Swedish evangelical Lutheran context, with pneumatology in Luthers Small Catechism and Luther's Large Catechism. Through a descriptive, inductive and hermenutical approach the essay intends to answer two main questions regarding how these sources 1) describe the character features and 2) the function of the Spirit. The conclusions of this essay show that the character features of the Spirit in Eftertanke differ from the catechisms in describing the Spirit with words connected to nature and life, while the catechisms only describe the Spirit as holy. The discussion that follows implies that the Spirit in the catechisms is depicted as more personal whereas Eftertanke depicts the Spirit more as an impersonal force. There are similarities in how both the catechisms and Eftertanke depict a dialectic relationship between human beings and the Spirit. However, they differ in function: in Eftertanke the Spirit is foremost a giver of life and a creator of positive emotions as well as a giver of guidance, while in the catechisms the Spirit is foremost a sanctifier.

The intention of this essay is to describe the problems with loss of books at three Swedish University libraries. It?s based on interviews with librarians. The library codes of ethics, the library law and the terms of reference of the libraries are central for my understanding. Interview results: Little was being done to stop theft.

On the 1st of July 2011 a new education act was carried out, which elucidate that all education in course of a public principal shall be non-denominational. In relation to this a public debate about the educational system's policy toward religious institutions, particularly the earlier nation church Svenska Kyrkan, and religious traditions burst out. This thesis reconstructs the ?Lucia debates? that were kept during the years 2011-2012. The aim of this thesis is to identify the mechanisms of the Lucia debate's issue and progress.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka varför könsutredningsprocesserna i Sverige respektive Argentina ser så olika ut, det vill säga vikten av att diagnostisera transsexualism eller ej. Detta gjorde jag genom en komaprativ studie där jag samlade information om könsutredningsprocesserna i de båda länderna. Mina frågeställningar var: * Hur ser utredningsprocessen ut gällande juridiskt könsbyte och könskorrigering i Sverige respektive Argentina? * Vad innebär Argentinas lag kring byte av juridiskt och fysiskt kön i praktiken? * Vilken betydelse tillskriver mina informanter diagnostisering gällande transsexualism? * Hur kan utredningsprocesserna tolkas utifrån mina valda teorier? Jag intervjuade aktivister inom HBTQ-rörelsen i Argentina som stått bakom den nya identitetslagen samt en könsutredare i Buenos Aires. Mina svenska informanter var alla könsutredare. I både Sverige och Argentina tillhandahåller staten sina medborgare identiteshandlingar, behandlingar samt könskorrigerande ingrepp enligt önskemål.

The aim of this essay is to illustrate a modern phenomenon, the Olympic Games, by applying the ideas of Mircea Eliade concerning space, time and myth. This literature study is mainly divided in two parts, one descriptive and one analytic. In the first part Eliade?s ideas and some criticism, which has been pointed against his theoretical approaches as well as his character, are presented. In the second part an analysis is carried out, based on the previously presented ideas and elements essential for the Olympics; the idea of the Olympics, the place, the ceremonies, the competition and the concept of individual idolism.I have discussed what seems like gnostic tendencies in Eliade?s ideas, in the sense that both Eliade?s ideas and the concept of Gnosticism argue that knowledge is a necessary condition for salvation, as well as the fact that Eliade and his ideas have not always a pro-Christian approach.

I denna uppsats har jag undersökt SFI-lärares inställning till hur man bör beröra ämnet homosexualitet i SFI-undervisningen, genom att analysera lärares svar i 22 enkäter och tre intervjuer. Jag har också gjort en analys av läromedel där jag har undersökt hur hetero- och homosexuella relationer representeras i tre olika böcker avsedda för SFI-undervisning. Syftet har varit att se hur väl litteraturen och lärarnas inställning stämmer överens med de formuleringar som står i läroplaner och kursplaner om tolerans och bekämpning av tendenser till trakasserier, att sätta dem i relation till queerteoretiska resonemang samt att synliggöra ett eventuellt osynliggörande av homosexuella kursdeltagare.I litteraturen hittas hundratals exempel på representation av heterosexualitet, men ingen representation av homosexuella relationer. Inte heller berörs ämnet i de kapitel som rör familjekonstellationer, sexualitet eller politik. I analysen av enkäter och intervjuer framgår att de flesta av lärarna som ingår i undersökningen, tycker att man bör diskutera, eller prata om homosexualitet i klassrummet.

Beyond the binary borders of sex -A LITTERATURE STUDY ABOUT TRANSGENDER THEORY AND ITS POSSIBLE CONTRIBUTION TO A SOCIAL WORK CONTEXT. GERGANA TOSEVA KARIN SELIN A thesis in Social work studies (15 credits) at Malmö University, Hälsa och Samhälle 2012. The discussion about sex and gender is always prominent in a social work context. Our purpose and questions are hence based on the discussion on transgender theory and the way of thinking about the non-binary, and how it relates to the nearby theories. The method of the essay consists of a semi systematic literature overview with the focus on discussing transgender theory in relation to other theories and perspectives, such as modernism, post modernism, feminism and queer theory. We answer the following questions: 1. Is it possible to go beyond or exceed the binary of sex and if so, how do we see it in the material we examined? 2. In what way are the existing theories of sex / gender in the binary? 3. Can one featuring a female embodied subject be of assistance to transgender people's search for an embodied subject? We consider it possible to move beyond the binary by using ?fuzzy logic?(Nagoshi & Brzuzy 2010, Tauchert 2002) which is a way of staying in the binary but expanding the term and work in the grey areas instead.

Bakgrund: Historiskt sett har människor som levt i samkönade relationer haft en sårbar situation i samhället och ofta blivit utsatta för diskriminering. I Sverige finns idag en lag som förbjuder diskriminering relaterat till sexuell läggning. Målet med hälso- sjukvårdslagen är att hela befolkningen ska ha en jämlik hälsa. Trots detta uppskattar de som lever i en samkönad relation att de har en sämre hälsa än övrig befolkning. Inom vården föreligger ofta ett heteronormativt förhållningssätt, vilket kan leda till osäkerhet för familjer med en annan konstellation än den heterosexuella.

The purpose of this master thesis is to use marketing theory on the library?s activities. The marketing theory used is the 4Ps; product, price, promotion and place, as it's presented by Philip Kotler. Because the library can be seen as a service oriented organization Christian Gronroos theory of marketing in the service industry also has been used. A case study of the public library in Broby was made to illustrate how the public libraries? activities can appear in the light of marketing theory.

I denna uppsats jämförs i ett posthumanistiskt perspektiv två svenska romaner som diskuterar medvetandets natur och gränserna för det mänskliga. I En levande själ från 1980 av Per Christian (PC) Jersild (f. 1935) konfronteras vi med djur som utsätts för plågsamma djurförsök och med uppfödandet och programmerandet av aborterade mänskliga fosterhjärnor som skall utnyttjas som biodatorer i intelligenta maskiner. I Sången ur det kinesiska rummet från 2014 av Sam Ghazi (f. 1967) står i stället möjligheten till en rent artificiell intelligens i fokus.

Konstpedagogik har funnits sedan 1800-talet och förändrats med tiden, nya perspektiv har tillkommit och gett nya arbetssätt. På 2000-talet slog queerteorin igenom ordentligt som teori och började användas i olika sammanhang, ett sådant var som grund för konstpedagogiken. Med nya perspektiv kommer nya frågeställningar och nya grundvallar. Queerteorin vänder upp och ner på många invanda föreställningar om hur världen är eller ska vara. Konstpedagogiken grundar sig i många fall på konventioner om konst.

This paper?s purpose is to examine a Swedish missionary activity from a human rights perspective. As a scope I have chosen the Swedish evangelical mission to Congo-Brazzaville, from its establishment in 1909 to the congolese church's self-determination in 1961. I consider certain elements of the missionary activity that affect human rights, to discover wether the activity was in order with modern day human rights standards or not. During these years, Congo was part of the French colony Equatorial Africa, so the missionaries? part in the colonial discourse is taken into consideration.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how Islam and Muslims are portrayed a) in results from studies on Swedish teaching materials, and b) in articles in Swedish media newspapers. The study was conducted through two separate studies. In the first study, five previous research reports on how Islam and Muslims are portrayed in Swedish teaching materials were analysed in order to discern the main results regarding the portrayal of Islam and Muslims. In the second study, newspaper articles from 11 Swedish newspapers were analysed in order to discern which central themes emerge in the description of Muslims and Islam in said newspaper articles, as well as which properties and features are attributed to Muslims and Islam in the articles studied. In both studies, the data was analysed inductively through a qualitative content analysis.
