ABSTRACTThe aim of this study is to analyse if the UN today constructs the water issue as a security issue and to argue about in which way the organization in that case does so alternatively why it can be said that the UN doesn?t construct the water issue as a security issue.In order to reach this purpose the following questions will be answered:?Does the UN construct the water issue as a security issue today?-If yes, in which way?-If no, why can it be said that the organisation doesn?t?The methods used are qualitative literature studies of policy documents on water from the UN. The focus is to analyze the ideas about water and to apply my theory on the concept of security, which is Barry Buzan?s framework on security, to these ideas.The main results showed that the UN strongly constructs the water issue as an environmental security issue for environments and species and in relatively strong terms also constructs it as an environmental security issue for civilisations. In rare cases the organisation constructs it as a societal security issue, but the UN doesn?t construct the water issue as a military, political or economic security issue..

Syftet med studien är att undersöka om och varför pedagoger som jobbar i skolans värld använder dramapedagogik i undervisningen. Av de pedagoger som ingår i undersökningen är tre fritidspedagoger och tre lärare i årskurs ett till tre. Genomförandet skedde genom kvalitativa intervjuer på olika skolor i Skåne. Det som blev tydligt i undersökningen och som vi fann intressant var att flera av de intervjuade talade om sitt användande av dramapedagogik i faktabaserade ämnen t.ex. svenska och matematik.

Mitt syfte är att initiera och driva ett utvecklingsarbete med inriktning mot IKT på fritidshemmet. Fokus ligger på hur IKT kan användas inom fritidspedagogiken. Utvecklingsarbetet sker genom att i aktion pröva och utveckla ett antal IKT aktiviteter på fritidshemmet. En granskning av vilka fördelar och nackdelar som kan finnas är en möjlig väg att finna former för hur fritidshemmet kan arbeta med IKT. Frågeställningen lyder: Vilka kunskapsmöjligheter kan IKT i form av mobilt lärande ge barn på fritidshemmet.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how much influence children perceive and feel that they have in terms of after-school activities and offerings. I have also tried to find out how much influence the children in the selected after-schools feel they have. This is to highlight how children themselves perceive their influence and if the children are aware of their rights in terms of participation and influence. The study also wants to highlight the forums and the ways in which children feel that they are heard. The study used questionnaires and group interviews were made of 15 children aged 8-9 years from two after-schools, located in two different schools in the same municipality.

With some help of a few interviews, with children, and some staff members, in two different schools, I hope to answer the question: if the picture of the operation, that the children and the staff are having, has some similarities, and I will try to compare these pictures with what some legal documents such as Lgr 11 and Kvalitet I Fritidshem is saying about daycare opera-tions? To be able to run a successful daycare center, is never an easy thing. The key to success is to make parties, like the staff, children and their parents to feel happiness, when it comes to things around and about the daycare center. The result shows that both the children and the staff are expressing a frustration around the daycare operation, because they feel that there being wrongly answered, by a higher authority. The children are frustrated of how the staff is answering them about different things and the staff is frustrated about how the headmasters are answering them.

The purpose of the study was to review the current veterinary literature regarding gastric dilatation and volvulus (GDV) considering pathophysiology and treatment, and to evaluate the operative technique (incisional gastropexy) used during the years 2005 and 2006 at the University Animal Hospital (Universitetsdjursjukhuset), SLU, Uppsala, Sweden. GDV has a complicated pathophysiology which foremost effects the circulatory system. Progress is often acute and it is not unusual that patients are affected with shock. The initial treatment targets to alleviate the shock by fluid therapy and decompression of the stomach. There is a high risk of recurrence in the long term perspective unless the stomach is surgically fixated by gastropexy. The study describes two different techniques for gastropexy; incisional gastropexy, and funduspexy. Long term complications were rare among the patients that were treated surgically, while about half out of the eighteen dogs that undergo surgery do experience complications of various severity in the short term..

The purpose of this essay is to analyze the view on sexuality held by Sweden?s first woman doctor Karolina Widerström, by using ideologycritical textanalysis on the written scriptures of dr. Widerström that focus on sexualpolitics. In doing this I use the theory of speech by Foucault. In this study I focus on Widerström?s scriptures, what she wrote about, how she wrote about it but also what she couldn't write due to the historical context and how omission can still speak of power.

The present study aimed to replicate Tversky & Kahneman's' survey of 1981 The Asian Disease Problem. A survey was conducted on the Internet (N = 200). An identical problem was added, yet with The Swine Flu as the disease. This was done to be able to investigate if there are any order effects, and also if it matters whether the mentioned disease is fictional or real. The results show the same results as Tversky & Kahneman already noted; positively and negatively framed problems generate different responses from the participants.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att ta reda på hur föreställningar om genus kommer till uttryck och får betydelse i mötet mellan fritidslärare och elever i fritidshemmets verksamhet. Vi använde oss av en kvalitativ metod för att vi ville ta reda på fritidslärares tankar och uppfattningar om genus och jämställdhet i fritidshemmet. För att få fram detta gjordes observationer och intervjuer. Vi fokuserar på specifika områden att observera på för att få en helhetsbild hur bemötandet är i de olika i situationernaI resultatet har vi fått fram att fritidslärare har olika föreställningar och normer om flickor respektive pojkar och det påverkar deras förhållningssätt I intervjuerna fick vi fram att lärarna säger sig ha jämställdhetsmålen i ryggraden och de berättar att de möter alla lika, det framkommer också i intervjuerna att fritidslärare har olika förväntningar på flickor och pojkar som sedan påverkar deras bemötande till elever.

Syftet med denna studie är att bidra till en pedagogisk diskussion om arbetet mot mobbning och trakasserier. Genom att undersöka lärares och fritidspedagogers uppfattning om förutsättningarna att arbeta mot mobbning och trakasserier i samarbete mellan skola och fritidsverksamheten. Studien består av analyser av enkätintervjuer och djupintervjuer med fritidspedagoger och lärare. Avsikten med intervjuerna är att undersöka likheter och skillnader i fritidspedagogers definitioner av och hur de arbetar mot kränkande behandling. Resultatet visar att respondenterna anser att kränkande behandling som visserligen inte ska förekomma i skola eller på fritidshem kan vara svårt och speciellt att använda en övergripande strategi mot kränkande behandling som fungerar.

This essay will focus on the people using and are involved in, and have a large interest in the horror film genre. The purpose of this essay is to find what urge these people to continuously watch horror movies and how they believe to be acknowledge by the society in a modern sense. Our study is mainly based on two separate interviews and therefore, mainly from the users perspective. This essay is also complemented by earlier research on this topic. In context of stigma, violence debate, exclusion we found that the users truly can be found in a rare type of alternative sphere, besides the public sphere.

Syftet med arbetetär att undersöka om det finns möjligheter för barn och elever att få redskap för att hantera konflikter på ett konstruktivt sätt.Idéenbygger på att elever genom kommunikation kan förutse en konflikt och då hanteradetta på ett konstruktivt sätt.Vidare ärsyftetatt undersöka hur det ser ut på fritidshem vad gäller pedagogers förmåga att förmedla detta. Genom intervjuer ochenkäterkartläggshur pedagoger ser på konflikthanteringoch vilken utbildning de har i detta.Resultatet visaratt pedagoger som är trygga i sin profession vad gäller konflikthantering inte upplever konflikter som negativa, de vet hur de ska agera för att hjälpa elever att själv hantera situationer där de behöver komma överens. Resultatet visar även att lärarutbildningarän så längeberör dessa områden alldeles för lite, samtidigt som det är varje enhets eller pedagogs ansvar att fortbilda siginom områdena kommunikation och konflikthantering.

Min uppsats handlar om situationer där jag har svårt att fördela min uppmärksamhet. Mitt fokus läggs antingen på barnet med speciella behov eller på barngruppen.I essän för jag en diskussion runt mitt eget förhållningssätt kring detta.Den senaste tiden har vi upplevt en trend att barn med särskilda behov ska inkluderas i all skolverksamhet. Syftet är naturligtvis gott, men min upplevelse är att det ibland kan leda till en ny form av exkludering. Det vill säga att de barn som inte fungerar som förväntat kan känna sig ännu mer utanför vilket kan få konsekvenser för att uppnå kunskapsmålen. Hur kan jag hantera detta som pedagog? I min essä undersöker jag problemet med hjälp av ett antal etiska teorier, pliktetik, utilitarism, diskursetik och fronetisk etik..

Few rectory gardens are today remaining in their former design and the cultural heritage that they represent are disappearing. Since 1987-88 the parishes are no longer bound to keep housing for their priests, which means that they, for economical reasons, are starting to sell their rectories. With this in mind, a group of people, growing up in rectories in Småland and Öland between the 1930th and 1950th, formed an interest group to save the memory of their rectory gardens. On the basis of their memories, they have written a couple of descriptions of the rectories, which describe the gardens content, design and the life they once lived there. With this compilation of the 14 rectory gardens I want to keep the memory of them and create a ground for future work in this field. Historically the rectory gardens played an important roll as patterns and examples in the countryside.

The purpose has been to investigate leisure-time centers actual work on children with attention deficit disorder. In addition, the study strives to make leisure-time centers way of working, in relation to their assignments, visible. The study has also compared how the leisure-time centers work and what the research says. The survey was conducted with the help of three exploratory interviews with pedagogues and three-piece observations at the leisure-time centers. It was carried out at three different schools in two counties in Sweden.The results of the survey show that the schools are trying to create clear procedures, though the centers succeed with this in varied degrees.
