Religion + Idrott = Sant?

Syftet med vĂ„r studie har varit att undersöka idrottslĂ€rares instĂ€llningar till, och uppfattningar om, situationer som kan uppstĂ„ i mötet mellan religion och idrottsundervisning. För att komma Ă„t vĂ„rt syfte samt skapa oss en bild av verkligheten anvĂ€nde vi oss av en kvalitativ metod i form av intervjuer med idrottslĂ€rare. Intervjuerna har sedan analyserats och pĂ„ sĂ„ vis har vi fĂ„tt fram det vi anser vara lĂ€rarnas uppfattningar och instĂ€llningar inom vĂ„rt omrĂ„de. Resultatet visade att lĂ€rarna inte anser att religion pĂ„verkar idrottsundervisningen nĂ€mnvĂ€rt Ă€ven om deltagandet till viss del tycks pĂ„verkas. ReligionskunskapslÀrares utsagor om undervisning av Sveriges förkristna religioner : - en studie av religionskunskapslÀrares utsagor om fornskandinavisk religion och samisk religion inom Religionskunskap A

Sammanfattning:I studien intervjuas sju religionskunskapslÀrare angÄende undervisning om fornskandinavisk religion och samisk religion. Studiens utgÄngspunkt Àr att fornskandinavisk religion och samisk religion kan ses som en del av Sveriges kulturarv. Informanternas utsagor studeras utifrÄn didaktikens tre översiktliga frÄgor: undervisningens vad?, hur? och varför? Deras utsagor diskuteras Àven mot tidigare lÀromedelsforskning som anknyter till pedagogiska texters framstÀllande av fornskandinavisk religion och samisk religion. Sammantaget diskuteras informanternas utsagor mot utmÄlad fond.Studien visar att undervisning om religionerna anknyter till bÄde gÀllande och annalkande nya styrdokuments yttranden om kulturell mÄngfald och identitet.

Bön och upplÄtenhet : En religionsfenomenologisk undersökning

Religious phenomena, such as prayer, have more or less always interested and engaged people, but most likely for different purposes. Since the early 20th century, starting notably with Edmund Husserl and especially Martin Heidegger, phenomenologists have taken an interest in understanding and expounding the meaning of religious phenomena. The attention of such a discourse have not ceased but is rather current, and also of importance seeing that religious themes, such as prayer, still occupy a great extent of human life and practice.Phenomenology of religion is not a science of religion: the former approaches religion in terms of its meaningfulness, whereas the latter as an object of inquiry and in the same manner as an economist approaches economical indicators in order to understand and explain how the whole economy functions. In other words, phenomenology of religion expounds religion, as it were, from within, while science of religion does it from without or externally.When approaching prayer phenomenologically, it shows itself to be a process or structure through which the one praying empty himself in order to be able to receive the valuable presence of the other. The value that is received from the other will also be reflected by the one praying and in that sense effect his surroundings and fellow humans..

Little Mosque on the Prairie : med humor som vapen mot islamofobi

Syftet med denna uppsats var att först redogöra för vÀstvÀrldens allmÀnna syn pÄ muslimer och islam och dÀrefter kontrastera den bilden med hur muslimer sjÀlva vÀljer att bli portrÀtterade i den kanadensiska komediserien Little Mosque on the Prairie. This study aims at using discourse analysis to analyze SFI students attitudes to religion and religiosity in an SFI-context. The questions are: How is the discourse constructed and maintained by religion and religiosity of SFI students in an SFI context? How do SFI participants experience that their religion has affected their time at SFI?Using a case study approach, interviews were conducted with a group of SFI students. The results show that the religious discourse in SFI is influenced by the SFI-context and affected based on the current education discourse that exists there. Furthermore, the discourse is designed and maintained by the participants private religious beliefs and the religion of the majority of the group, One canhere speak of a strong social unit forming a plausibility structure The power structure that emerges is that the majority has the power to define the significance of religion and place within the SFI context. In the SFI-context the participants view is that religion is something private that should not be expressed in the school environment.

This work deals with the introductory course for immigrants (Introduktionskurs för invandrare ? IVIK) in the Swedish municipalities. I have studied how the participants in this education are brought into a Swedish understanding of religion, both in the formal SO (social studies) and when it comes to informal transferring of values.I have interviewed teachers and school leaders, interviews which I have then analysed.To understand the educational environment, I have used Antonio GramsciŽs theory of hegemony, as I perceive it, as well as Michel FoucaultŽs ideas of power and knowledge.I have found that fostering into a ?Swedish? view on religion appears in the education, implicitly as well as explicitly, though the informants tend to have an ambivalent opinion as to how this should be carried out, and to which extent..

The essay explores how the category ?religion? occurs and functions in the regulatory documents governing the Swedish public service companies. The study also highlights Swedens changed religious demographics and the changing media landscape. The material that is under investigation is the external and internal policy documents for Sveriges Radio, Sveriges Television and Utbildningsradion. This essay aims to investigate how students in upper secondary school perceive the subject religion A. The study is both qualitative and quantitative and I will use a survey to investigate the perception of religion among students both vocationally oriented and theory oriented. I will use questions concerning religious background and perception on the subject in relation to the curriculum but also try to investigate whether there are differences on perception between the vocational and theory orientation. The theoretical approach is mainly based on the curriculum concerning religion A but former research is also used such as books written by Sven G Hartman (2000), Ulf Sjödin (1995), Ove Larsson (1991), Elsie Davidsson (1989) and Anders Törnwall (1988). The result in the study is that students for the most part perceive the subject religion A as something positive and the background has a connection to their present perception.

The aim of this essay is to investigate the attitudes towards religion and religious people held by a group of Swedish high school students. The main questions are; what causes these attitudes andhow do they shape the students? encounter with religion and religious people and in what way could religious education help the students problematize these attitudes?The method used is a quantitative method using a questionnaire, with a Likert scale, posing different questions about religion as such, world religion and religious people. MÄngkulturella och homogena skolor : En kvalitativ studie om lÀrares syn pÄ undervisning om religioner vid fyra sydsvenska skolor

The purpose of this paper is to examine if there are any differences or similarities when it comes to teaching religion in a multicultural school versus teaching religion in a homogeneous school in Sweden. How do teachers describe religious education in schools and how do they justify their teaching strategies? What similarities or differences are there between teachers' approaches when teaching religion in homogeneous versus multicultural schools?The study is based on qualitative interviews which includes a total of four schools; two homogeneous and two multicultural. These schools have been selected with the help of the Migration Board's annual report from 2014 as well as from my own personal knowledge. One religious teacher from each of the schools was interviewed.The conclusion, among others, is that ethnic Swedish pupils do not have the same understanding of religion as students of different ethnicity.
