Over the last 25 year IT development has greatly influenced the waycompanies are managed, the tremendous growth in the information society has made a huge amount of information extremely accessible. This has resulted in the problem of information overload where the large amount of information can affect the quality of a decision basis collected by a controller.The purpose of the study is to examine how a controller is affected by information overload and how this influences the decision basis. We intend to highlight the important elements to represent a high quality of information.A survey was conducted through a case study within a global affiliated company in the packaging industry. An adductive approach has been applied with a qualitative research method. Collected empirical material from interviews has been put into relation with existing theories.The case study indicates that there is no relationship between the problem of information overload and flawed decision basis.

This essay attempts to examine the discourse of the Sweden democrats in relation to thevalue system of the Swedish national school.To analyse the political texts I use discourse analysis and especially the method and approachconducted by Judith Lee Bacchi. Bacchi focuses on the construction of a problem in variouspolitical discourses. When performing this kind of analysis the main question is (accordingto Bacchi): ?What is the problem represented to be??I find that the Sweden democrats construct the ?migration politics? and the ?multiculturalpolitics? that is guiding the society as the cause of most problems in our society. To solvethe ?problems? they promote a nationalistic and a cultural racist discourse especiallypinpointing the ?Muslims? as being a problem.Since the Sweden democrats are striving to implement their discourse in the society andschool, and since their discourse already are reproduced by solar students in the classroom,I find it important to examine the essence of their particular discourse and contrast it withthe current value system of the Swedish schools.I don´t find the nationalistic and racist discourse of the Sweden democrats to correspond tothe value system of the Swedish school, mainly due to their strive to create alienation, andby labeling individuals in a reductive manner, instead of using apparent differences as asource for democratic discussions in the classroom.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att förstå vilka problem som kan uppstå vid värdering av förvaltningsfastigheter till verkligt värde, och vilka konsekvenser dessa problem får på relevansen och tillförlitligheten i redovisningen. En kvalitativ studie i form av semistrukturerade intervjuer har gjorts med representanter från svenska börsnoterade fastighetsbolag samt med externa värderingsmän. Detta för att få insikt i deras arbete med att värdera förvaltningsfastigheter enligt IAS 40. Resultatet tyder på att det blir en avvägning mellan relevansen och tillförlitligheten i redovisningen när det inte finns en aktiv marknad, där relevansen prioriteras genom att betona vikten av att redovisa värden som speglar marknadssituationen..

Syfte: Vi ämnar undersöka huruvida tillämpning av reglerna för säkringsredovisning bidrar till en bättre redovisning för bankerna. Dessutom har vi för avsikt att belysa praktiska problem förknippade med säkringsredovisning. Metod: Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ forskningsmetod. Den består av två steg. Vi började med att kartlägga den offentliga debatten på området som att sedan följa upp de frågor som väcktes med semistrukturerade intervjuer.

In this work, I describe the factors that affect the bucking of pine logs on the basis of the machine operator. The aim is to find an explanation why the bucking differs so greatly between requested length results and the actual length results in pine bucking. The used methods in this study were data from simulated pine outcomes, data from earlier length outcomes and analysis of the harvesters' PRI files. This is to identify the problem. To explain the background to the problems a qualitative research interview was used.

Syftet med detta arbete är söka svar på hur elever i de tidiga skolåren löser praktiska problem inom matematikområdena, mätning och vägning. Det har gjorts en jämförande studie av elevernas lösningsstrategier för att undersöka huruvida det sker någon förändring med stigande ålder och därmed förväntade ökade kunskaper i matematik.Genom undervisningsförsök med kompletterande löpande observationer har vi sökt svar på hur förskoleklasselevernas lösningsstrategier skiljer sig i jämförelse med elevernas i skolår 4. Försöken har genomförts av elever i förskoleklass och skolår 4. Eleverna har varit indelade i grupper om 4-6 i varje och alla undervisningsförsök har genomförts utomhus. Undersökningen har bestått av två övningar, ett försök i mätning och ett försök i vägning.Resultatet visar att eleverna i de olika åldrarna uppskattar att lösa matematiska problem, på ett praktiskt sätt.

Många svenska skolor har problem med våld, mobbing, skadegörelse och stölder. Enligt skolverkets attitydundersökning uppgav fyra procent av eleverna att de kände sig mobbare av andra elever medan sex procent kände sig mobbade av lärare. Mobbningen kan få svåra följder som t.ex. låg självkänsla. Skolans agerande mot mobbning och kränkande behandling regleras i ett antal styrdokument, främst Skollagen och Läroplanen, som anger de mål och riktlinjer skolan ska följa.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att studera och undersöka hur invandrarbarnens väg mot det svenska språket kan se ut. Vi har tittat närmare på hur man kan förbättra denna inlärning, vilka problem och hinder som är vanligt förekommande samt vilken roll som hemspråket har vid svenskinlärning. Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ intervjuform som innefattat fem pedagoger under vår VFU-period. Denna del redovisar vi i vår resultatdel. Genom litteratur har vi kommit i kontakt med teorier rörande våra frågeställningar och dessa har samlats i vår litteraturgenomgång.

Problem: That the stakeholder?s expectations don´t answer to what auditors can and may do have been a problem for several years. This problem was defined for the first time by Liggio at 1974. Since 1974 there have been several researches about the expectation gap for auditors.Purpose: The purpose of our study is to research what the audit effort in HQ Bank means for the expectation gap.Theory: The theories in our study discuss the audit profession, the definition of the expectation gap, how trust develops between individuals, the regulations that the authorities discuss and a review of earlier researches in this subject.Method: We have done a qualitative study in which we interviewed approved auditors at PwC and Convensia in addition we interviewed the chief lawyer at the Swedish financial supervisory authority to answer our purpose.Conclusions: The conclusion of our study is that the expectation gap exists between the auditors and the stakeholders. Another conclusion is that the incidents in HQ Bank have influenced the expectation gap in a negative direction, to reduce the expectation gap we suggest that adjustments of the regulations must be done and that the auditors themselves must inform their stakeholders what auditors can and may do..

Bakgrund: Betydelsen för samarbetet mellan kund och leverantör har under de senaste åren ökat. Ett sätt att arbeta är VMI, Vendor Managed Inventory, leverantörsstyrda lager. I VMI styr leverantören flödet av material till kunders lager. För att möjliggöra detta krävs att parterna delar information. För att underlätta informationsdelningen finns olika IT-system där informationen kan göras tillgänglig.

In autumn in 2010 the project group came in contact with the travel company Golf Joy in Halmstad. They had been briefed on the problems of their customers had when they travel with their golf bags and contacted Halmstad University for help in solving this problem. When we heard about this idea, we became curious and contacted the company. After a successful meeting, we took the problem with us to the school and began to brainstorm to see how we could solve the problem. The goal was to produce a stylish and functional travel golf bag with the cart and bag in one and launch it in the golf season in 2012.

Studien genomfördes enligt principen för systematisk litteraturöversikt där kunskapsläget beskrevs och förslag på lösningar och förbättringar samlades in. Sökning och bedömning gjordes enligt Goodmans sju steg. Problemet preciserades, inklusions- och exklusionskriterier ställdes upp och en plan för litteratursökningen formulerades. Artiklar med studier som mötte inklusionskriterierna samlades in och deras slutsatser tolkades. Slutligen formulerades rekommendationer baserade på fakta insamlat från de olika studierna.

This paper discusses the feeling of insecurity in educational exhibitions. The study analyzes one exhibition at the museum ?Nordiska Museet? in Stockholm, and strives to answer how the question of spatial factors can influence the feeling of insecurity, and thereby also the information process.The following questions have been addressed: Can we speak of a spatial allocation problem of exhibitions that contain much information? What is the relationship between the exhibition's intention and visitors conduct A model has been designed with influence from wayfinding where the exhibition is divided into basic parts, which allows a detailed study of the exhibition, and of how the parts relate to each other. The research contains spatial analyze, observations as well as interviews.The conclusion is that we, in the scientifically investigated exhibition, can speak of a spatial allocation problem when the information seems to be an overload for the visitor..
