The aim of this report is to improve the fire safety at Hallsta Paper Mill in Hallstavik, Sweden. In order to do so large parts of a fire-protection management system for the paper mill has been created. The report begins with giving a general description of management structures and fire-protection management systems. An account is given for how management structures are designed, and how they should be implemented, maintained and updated. Thereafter follows a description of what routines and instructions should be included in a fire-protection management system..

This paper aims to outline leaders' experiences of managing consultants from their company's performance management system. The study was conducted by qualitative interviews with senior managers and HR professionals within a management consulting firm. The aim was to describe the company's performance management system, their consultants and the challenges of leading in this context. The theoretical framework consists of previous research in leadership, performance management and management consulting. Within these research areas the authors identify a knowledge gap in leaders' perspectives on managing top-talents with performance management systems in the management consulting industry.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the determinants of capital structure in Swedish small and medium sized firms. The study includes 24.859 Swedish firms which are further analyzed with regards to their financial characteristics. These characteristics consist of short term debt, long term debt and total leverage. The study compares the relationship between these characteristics and six independent variables.The result shows that profitability is the greatest determinant for capital structure in Swedish small and medium sized firms with regards to total leverage. When profitability increases the total leverage of the firm decreases.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att utifrån litteratur, lagar, rekommendationer samt en undersökning av revisorer komma fram till vad som är en bra revision i teorin respektive praktiken. Vidare är syftet att undersökningen skall leda fram till vilka faktorer som har en påverkan på revisionens kvalitet. Metod: Uppsatsen utgår från den hermeneuitiska ansatsen. Informationsinsamlingen är kvalitativ till sin karaktär och består av litteraturstudier och en kompromiss mellan fallstudie och surveystudie. Fallstudien bygger på besöksintervjuer med revisorer medan surveystudien bygger på en enkätundersökning av ett större antal revisorer.

Ett sätt att lösa vad de framhåller som ett ineffektivitetsproblem har lett till konkurrensutsättning, där privata aktörer får en möjlighet att genom upphandling utföra offentliga tjänster. Syftet var att undersöka hur det strategiskt arbetas med stöd och vägledning till chefer i konkurrensutsatt verksamhet, samt hur chefer upplever att de får det stöd som behövs för att fullgöra sitt arbete. Hösten 2013 stormade det i Sverige ett flertal gånger. En av dem, stormen Ivar, fällde 4,3 miljoner skogskubikmeter privatägd skog med kärnområde i Medelpad och Jämtland. De senaste åren har varit stormtäta och en mängd erfarenheter finns från att hantera stormarnas konsekvenser. Dock saknas forskning om hur skogsägarna resonerar efter en storm och upp-lever de stormtjänster som erbjuds, vilket lade grunden för detta examensarbete. Syftet var därför att ta reda på och förklara hur skogsägarna upplevde stormen Ivar från stormtillfället till nästan ett år efter stormens framfart, vad som påverkar den upplevda tjänstekvaliteten och hur framtidens stormtjänst bör se ut.

For the company to work well, it is necessary with a good economy, a high qualitative production and a well working system concerning the environment: the whole cycle on the farm needs to be working. At the same time, debaters about the environmental impacts are also requiring higher demands for the dairy farmers and therefore also the management programs. Management programs for feed evaluation calculations have been more developed over the years. Big amounts have been invested in the new feeding system with NorFor, but no one seems to have asked the dairy farmers what they themselves want to spend their money on, and what they need help with. For the dairy farmers it is necessary that the whole company is controlled in the right way, and much more than just feed evaluation is included in this.
