Each student in elementary school will under current policy documents have an individual development plan (IEP) from 1 January 2006. The plan should primarily aim for a higher goal achievement, but also to the student to gain a greater understanding of their own learning process and knowledge. My experience is that some students, despite efforts IUP have difficulty seeing their own learning process and it has been the starting point of my study. The aim of the study has been to investigate and analyze teachers work with individual development plans from the first grade to the sixth grade from a teacher's perspective. The goal was to identify strategies and techniques that could help develop IUP as a tool for the student's learning and understanding of their own learning process.

This dissertation is carried out on behalf of Two i Sverige AB. Two is a consulting agency which primarily works with the development of homepages. The company has several of its complete applications written in ASP e.g. the development of homepages. At the agency they have seen benefit migrating these applications from ASP to the more flexible environment ASP.NET.

By studying literature concerning design, didactics and reflection, and complementing those explorations with interviews with experienced design educators, this thesis challenges the idea of aesthetic media education being purely aesthetic in its characteristics. Drawing from their own experiences as a media aesthetics educator and an industrial designer, the two authors argue that the work flow used within most fields of design, commonly known as the design process, might provide a suitable didactic alternative to a field of education lacking relevant methodology. The literature study offers a better understanding of the design process and how it may be defined and viewed within an educational context. The interviews provide a more practical insight into the world of design education. The result shows that the design process as a didactical method theoretically offers both elements of critical thinking as well as direction and frames for students lacking aesthetic and artistic experience.

Som den största webbaserade portalen har Facebook blivit en viktig plattform för många företag. Ett enkelt sätt att kommunicera med sina kunder är genom att företaget administrerar sitt egna varumärkescommunity på Facebook. Studier har visat på möjligheter för företag att stärka relationer till konsumenter och även höja varumärkesvärde, men risker med b.la. negativ åsiktsspridning har ändå lett till debatter om varumärkescommunities verkliga påverkan för företag. Denna studie undersöker hur varumärkescommunities på Facebook i Sverige påverkar olika konsumentrelationer och vilken påverkan de har på svenska varumärken. Detta görs genom att analysera hur relationer mellan konsument, produkt, varumärke, företag och andra konsumenter påverkas av varumärkescommunities.

Problemformulering: Hur använder sig möbelföretag av känselsinnet i sin marknadsföring?Syfte: Vår avsikt var att undersöka om ? och i så fall hur - företagen i denna bransch använder sig av det taktila sinnet i varuhus, produkter och kataloger.Metod: Vi har använt oss av en abduktiv ansats av ett kvalitativ tillvägagångssätt. Vi gjorde djupintervjuer med tre möbelföretagsrepresentanter.Referensram: Sinnesmarknadsföring är ett relativt nytt fenomen, men vi tror att det är något som är här för att stanna. Idén med sinnesmarknadsföring är att företag, genom att rikta sig till kundens alla fem sinnen, skapa en sinnesupplevelse för kunden. Känselsinnet är ett av de sinnen som företagen ska använda sig av för att skapa denna helhetsupplevelse.

This study examines the possibilities of interpreting the moral values and ethics presented in the current curriculums in a way that makes them inclusive and constructive. The study also reveals how the liberal democratic ideal, presented in the curriculums as a hyper-ideology, is not at all easy to define or live up to in the pluralistic school of today.By close-reading and criticizing the curriculum for the Swedish senior high school (Gy11)and by looking at it from two different points of views, as rules or norms and as a process, Ishow how the curriculum can be interpreted as a basis or starting point for a communicationabout values. I also discuss wether the aim of this communication should be consensus or anongoing process..

En bruksanvisning är inte bara ett lagkrav utan även avgörande för helhetsintrycket av en produkt och det företag som står bakom. Därför är det av största vikt att bruksanvisningen klarar av att förmedla den information som krävs för att användaren ska kunna nyttja produkten på ett korrekt och säkert sätt.På uppdrag av företaget Careva Systems AB har jag arbetat med att förbättra en bristfällig bruksanvisning till deras produkt Carevabältet. Den befintliga bruksanvisningen innehåller mycket text, är komplicerad och rörig och visar inte hänsyn till läsaren, vilket riskerar att göra denne osäker, irriterad och missnöjd.Jag har undersökt hur informativ illustration kan användas som ett verktyg för att göra bruksanvisningen lättare att läsa och förstå samt tydligare och mer intressant för användaren. För att få reda på det har jag analyserat och användartestat den befintliga bruksanvisningen, jag har lärt känna målgruppen med hjälp av intervjuer och jag har tittat på teorier om fördelarna med illustration och vilka egenskaper de måste ha för att fungera i bruksanvisningen.Utifrån det jag kommit fram till har jag skapat ett förbättringsförslag som i mångt och mycket handlar om att förtydliga genom att förenkla. Konceptet har jag sedan utprovat för att kunna konstatera att illustration bidrar till att bruksanvisningen fyller sin funktion bättre. .

Lean Production is used by many manufacturing companies. Companies in process industries do not use Lean Production to the same extent today. This is part of the report's issue to explore how Lean Production can be applied to a company in the process industries.The investigated company is a processing company that manufactures various types of foil. The company wishes to streamline its production and has therefore asked the authors to examine if Lean Production can offer the company improvements in their production. Lean Production value stream mapping tool has been selected to identify and analyze the current state of two of its products in production.

Konkurrensen på den svenska dagligvarumarknaden är stor. I dagens matbutiker möts konsumenten av ett ofantligt utbud av produkter. Varje vara finns i olika märken, i olika prisklasser och i olika produktutformningar med olika egenskaper. Detta gör att det är svårt för producenter att få in en ny produkt på marknaden och dessutom allt svårare att hålla kvar den där. Därmed kan mervärdesaspekten bli allt viktigare för producenterna eftersom den ger en möjlighet till att differentiera sig från konkurrenterna genom att skapa mervärden som konsumenten efterfrågar.

The aim of this study is to increase understanding about addiction recovery. More specifically, we want to know what people who have had problems with alcohol and/or other drugs perceive as helpful and important for their recovery process and how we can understand this process.The study was conducted by means of qualitative semi-structured interviews with four people who have had alcohol and/or other drug problems. The analysis is based on a transtheoretical model of change from addictive behaviours, coping, interactionist theories and also a recovery perspective, inspired by research on recovery from mental illness . Main findings are that recovery from addiction can be understood as an individual process that takes place in a social context and can follow expected phases, although there are large individual differences in the process. Through the recovery process it has been of importance to the participants in the study to redefine themselves and their problems, get support from others, find ways to cope with their problems, get involved in meaningful activities and to expand their social roles.

The aim of this thesis is to describe the rise of the Tea Party movement in the United States. By using a known theory within social movement studies, the political process theory, this thesis look into the factors that could have played a role in the rise and fast mobilization of the Tea Party movement. The political process theory consists of three parts and hence looks into both the political structure of, in this case, the United States, how mobilizing structures have been used and into the cultural framing used by the Tea Party to create their identity. In order to bring structure to the thesis, the three theory parts have been transformed into analysis models. These give a very good idea of all the factors that could have played a part and therefore also a good way to describe the rise of the Tea Party movement.The research confirm what the political process theory says, that the Tea Party movements rise came at a time when there were a mix of factors at play, both structural and cultural, creating an opportunity that the Tea Party took.

A Road project?s frame is built up of a decision- and consultation process, where the results of the preparatory studies are being discussed. The aim with a consultation process is that all theopinions and knowledge from the operators' will be taken into count in the basis of information, that is needed in order to the different involved operators' to take a decision.The aim of the essay was to investigate how the decision- and consultation process for a road project, the E4 section between Uppsala Läby, turned out. The aim is also to bring up how theprocess could have been done more correctly. The study was carried out through a qualitative method with an analysis of materials from the National Road Administration's archives, the associated Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and through interviews of the different operators.My theoretical basis has been a Stakeholder Analysis and its principles, and theory about different executions of social planning.The result showed that the decision- and consultation process has been bursting in democracy and consideration taking of the different operators' opinions, has been poor from the developer?s, in this case the National Road Administration's, side.

Syftet med denna studie var att utifrån ett socialkonstruktionistiskt perspektiv och ett Foucault-inspirerat diskursanalytiskt ramverk visa på några av de sätt att tala om och förstå den bildterapeutiska processen som finns tillgängliga för och används av bildterapeuter. Syftet var även att beskriva hur dessa sätt att tala kan påverka bildterapeuter i det bildterapeutiska arbete de bedriver. Datainsamlingen genomfördes med semistrukturerade intervjuer med bildterapeuter. I resultatet lyftes tre distinkta sätt att tala om processen fram, som gav den tre olika innebörder. Dessa tre diskursiva konstruktioner framställde den bildterapeutiska processen som en blottläggande process, som en experimenterande process och som en reflekterande process.

In recent years, the demands for effectiveness and evidence in social work have increased in all work areas, including that of healthcare. This has sparked the discussion on concepts such as practical- and theoretical knowledge and their respective roles in social work. In the light of this, the purpose of this candidate thesis is to investigate healthcare social workers understanding of practical- and theoretical knowledge in the working process as well as their respective influence and importance. This candidate thesis is based on three interviews with social workers from different departments in Norrlands Universitetssjukhus in Umeå, Sweden. To provide range to the thesis, the interviewees were chosen from a purposeful sampling.

En produktkonfigurator är en typ av informationssystem som skall stötta konfigurationsprocessen, det vill säga sammansättning av komponenter till en kundanpassad produkt. Ett sådant system har till uppgift att hitta en giltig och komplett specificerad produkt bland alla möjliga alternativ som matchar kundens behov.Flera produktkonfiguratorer finns tillgängliga på marknaden idag. Svårigheten med dessa är att de alla tillhandahåller olika modelleringsansatser och funktioner som gör det svårt för företag att välja det system som matchar bäst. Trots de uttryckta svårigheterna tycks det saknas tydliga riktlinjer för hur en tillverkande industri som står inför valet av produktkonfigurator kan få insikt i detta. Syftet med denna studie är därför att, via samarbete med företaget SOMAS Instrument AB, föreslå en modell som kan användas för att tydliggöra de behov och krav som bör styra valet av produktkonfigurator, samt identifiera de aspekter som behöver tas i beaktning i samband med detta.Studien är en aktionsbaserad fallstudie som tillämpat en modell, baserad på tre teoretiska perspektiv, hos företaget SOMAS Instrument AB.
