Investeringar krävs för att lantbruksföretagaren ska ha en möjlighet att följa utvecklingen och möjliggöra effektiviseringar i det dagliga arbetet på gården. För investeringar krävs kapital och ofta är lantbrukets investeringar kapitalkrävande. Det är maskiner och byggnader som behöver bytas ut, vilket kan slå hårt på den redan pressade ekonomin. De senaste årens markpriser har stigit kraftigt vilket inneburit att bankerna varit villiga att låna ut mer kapital, eftersom gårdarna har haft möjlighet att sätta marken i säkerhet för lånen. Många lantbruksföretag i Götaland drivs som kombinationsföretag och har både skogs- och jordbruksproduktion som sina huvudsakliga produktionsgrenar. Alternativet för dessa företag är att använda inkomster från skogsproduktionen till de kapitalkrävande investeringarna.

The aim of my master?s thesis has been to examine the situation of the price lists in the National Library of Sweden, in Uppsala University Library and in the Nordiska Museet Library. The starting point was that the institutes have been operating within different institutional practices. These operational differences between the institutes have affected the collecting, the organizing and the accessibility to the information of the price lists. My master?s thesis is based on Birger Hjørlands theories of domains and knowledge organization.

This study aims to determine whether pupils, students and teachers at various music schools feel that there is a difference in status between different music styles/genres, and if this has an impact on the individual level. The survey was conducted with a digital survey that was e-mailed to junior/high schools with music profile in the Stockholm area and to all the teachers and students at the Royal College of music in Stockholm (KMH). Due to low participation by students and teachers from the junior/high schools the students and teachers of KMH became the main object of the study. The results shows that a majority of the main group of this study feels that there is a difference in status between different music styles/genres. The study also shows that half of the participants believe that the difference in status affects them on an individual level.

Tankevärldar och förhållningssätt i särskolans musikverksamhet av Liselott Stenman, är en studie inom ramen för Magisterprogrammet i musikpedagogik med profil musikterapi vid Kungl. Musikhögskolan i Stockholm.Bakgrunden till denna studie står att finna i min tidigare erfarenhet som musiklärare på en särskola med skolverksamhet för barn och ungdomar med diagnostiserad utvecklingsstörning samt funktionshinder. För några år sedan gav en elevsituation upphov till frågor kring förhållningssätt hos personalen på denna skola, vilket väckte mitt intresse för fenomenet förhållningssätt. Denna studie söker därför svar på hur fem informanter med olika anknytning till särskolans musikverksamhet tänker kring fenomenet förhållningssätt. Syftet är att belysa frågan på ett individuellt plan för att erhålla fördjupad kunskap om tankar runt förhållningssätt inom denna verksamhet.

The Royal Library (KB) of Sweden harbours great collections of different objects through a special law from 1661. This master degree paper is exploring a part of KB?s digitisation of those collections. It deals with the questions about what the KB had chosen for digitisation, why those choices were maid and who is responsible for making these decisions. The paper will also for example seek out different patterns and trends in the information.

Holmen Skog har som målsättning att öka andelen sådda föryngringsytor från dagens 24 % till 30 %. Erfarenheterna inom Holmen Skog vad gäller sådd är goda, men med ett ökat arealmål blir svårigheterna att hitta lämpliga bestånd större. Syftet med examensarbetet var att få bättre kunskap om hur såddresultatet påverkas av ståndortsfaktorer, såddtidpunkt samt trädslagsval. Målsättningen var att ta fram ett kunskapsunderlag som kan utgöra grund för rekommendationer om vilka ståndorter som är mest lämpade för sådd. För att särskilja olika faktorers inverkan på såddresultatet analyserades återväxtinventeringsresultat från 3 704 bestånd med multivariat- och diskriminantanalys. I en fältstudie undersöktes främst inverkan av ståndortens vattenegenskaper på såddresultatet, där 500 stycken 10 m2-provytor med huvudstammar (plantytor) jämfördes med ytor utan huvudstammar (nollytor).

Syftet med uppsatsen är att utvärdera två landskapsindex: ett formindex som beräknar formen för varje markanvändningsyta ( eng. "patch"); ett diversitetsindex, som beskriver de olika markanvändningarnas relativa utbredning. Formindexet beräknas på två olika sätt, beroende på om dess storleksberoende inkluderas eller ej. Utvärderingen körs för ett landskap på cirka 50 km2, men även för tre mindre områden i landskapet: åkerbygd, mellanbygd samt skogs-bygd. Samtliga områden jämförs sedan i två olika skalor, flygbild respektive satellitbild..

The purpose of this study is to find out how buyers of forest-and farm land have valued the property's various parts. How buyers has valued the forest, field, pasture, house and the farm buildings on their property. A questionnaire with 22 questions was sent to 68 people how had bought a property in Kronoberg or Blekinge. They had bought the property in 2010 and first half of 2011, and the properties have been provided by LRF-konsult. To each question there were several alternatives and the buyers would choose the alternative that was most similar to his or her opinion. The study is based on 57 responses.

In this thesis, the TEI (Text Encoding Initiative) encoding scheme is investigated as a system for storing metadata about manuscript material and 18th century first prints in the Swedenborg Archives at the Swedish Royal Academy of Sciences. The aim of the study is to test the functionality of TEI as a metadata system in cataloguing a special collection. Some criteria of functionality are formulated, and examples of encoded catalogue entries are described and analysed. It is demonstrated how descriptive metadata have been registered within the TEI header, while structural metadata have been recorded within the text element of the TEI file. On the whole, TEI is considered to be a functional tool that matches the present purposes.

År 2011 fällde stormen Dagmar uppskattningsvis 4-5 miljoner m3sk skog,främst i mellersta Norrland. SCA skogs tidigast gallrade (1996-2005)contortatallbestånd, återfinns i området. Generellt beskrivs contortatall somett vindkänsligt trädslag. Kunskapen kring påverkan av gallring ärbegränsad. Målet är att avgöra om stormkänsligheten minskar ett antal årefter gallring, samt om det finns något samband mellan beståndsegenskaperoch skadenivå.

De senaste åren har det uppkommit ett ökat behov av inhemskt virke inom SCA. Detta framförallt på grund av ökad virkesefterfrågan från de egna industrierna. Eftersom inte SCA Skogs eget skogsinnehav på 2.6 milj ha räcker till för försörjningen av industrierna har man anställt fler virkesköpare som har i uppdrag att köpa råvara från privata markägare. För att sätta fokus på hur SCAs arbete fungerar mot sina virkesleverantörer/kunder har jag gjort en enkätstudie på detta. Studien är uppdelad i tre delar; litteraturstudie, enkätundersökning av kundnöjdhet och en excel-modell för uppföljning av kundnöjdheten baserad på enkäten.

Vida Skog is supplying the whole Vida Ltd?s mills with wood raw material. This study aims to evaluate Vida Skog?s contractors and the relatively new contractorportal and to identify measures that are important for the contractors? skills. The purpose with the portal is to facilitate co-operation between contractors and buyers by streamlining the logistics of the whole wood supply process.The study was conducted in the form of a questionnaire.Most of the respondents were positive to the portal.

Transfer pricing has attracted considerable interest among tax authorities in recent years. One of the reasons for this is that various countries have now begun to protect their own tax bases to a greater extent than they did in the past. Sweden has introduced a law on the documentation on the grounds that the tax office to review the pricing of transactions that occur within multinational corporations. The purpose of the law is that companies should apply a transfer pricing that meet arm's length principle, which means that internal pricing reflects market prices. The EU Commission has, together with the EU member states formed a Forum, the EU Joint Transfer Pricing Forum (JTPF), since cross-border trade within groups constitute a threat to the internal market. The Forum has drawn up a code of conduct which includes a model of documentation.

The purpose of this master thesis is to investigate how nearby forests affect the energy production in wind turbines. To reach the purpose a case study is performed on three wind turbines sited on a field in a north-south line at Andersfält in the municipality of Halmstad, Sweden. Approximately 100 meters south of the southern wind turbine a forest is situated. The case study is divided into three sub studies where the difference in energy production, the affect of the forest and a wind meteorology model, WAsP, is studied. The result show that the forest have a significant influence and that the WAsP-model gives an incorrect result of the energy production in wind turbines sited near a forest..
