This study aimed to explore the perceived role and mandate of civil servants employed in municipalities in Kronoberg county. The study aimed to answer the question whether civil servants engaged in municipal economics have different perspectives on their mandate and role based on how said civil servants implement and manage policy tools available in Swedish municipalities. The study aimed to through policy tools theory explain how civil servants through four categories view the policy tools employed in the municipality. The study is based on the reasoning that policy tools influences exercise of authority that in turn influences view on policy tools. This Master?s thesis is about the public library development in a rural district, in this case Bergunda, a large rural district in Kronoberg?s County in Småland in Sweden, existing 1952 ? 1970. The main question is; how the public library develops in Bergunda large rural district 1951-1970. The main question is divided up in sub-questions: the district uniting in 1952 and 1971; personnel; lending; library housing and the public library structure. In 1952, there is one public library, Bergunda public library, and four study circle libraries.

Samverkan i Kronobergs län bedrivs mellan försäkringskassa och arbetsförmedling. Verksamheten innebär arbetslivsinriktad rehabilitering för individer. Under 2007 presenterade länet ett mycket gott resultat för verksamheten och låg i topp jämfört med övriga län. Därav finns intresse att studera verksamheten. Studiens syfte är att beskriva det samverkansarbete som sker mellan myndigheterna i verksamheten Samverkan och att generera hypoteser som kan förklara de goda resultatsiffror Kronobergs län har presterat.

Bakgrund: Ett lämpligt näringsintag är viktigt för främjandet och bevarandet av både den allmänna och orala hälsan. Karies är en multifaktoriell sjukdom där kosten har en betydelsefull roll. This study is an assignment from the council of Södra Småland county to investigate how equality between boys and girls progresses at compulsory schools in Kronoberg county. The study was undertaken to find suggestions on how work with equality could best be stimulated.The key question was to elaborate how a decentralized rule and structural context of an organisation can affect an implementation of political decisions. The methodological approach adopted can be defined as inductive, it was analysed how the respondents from some selected schools in Kronoberg county themselves relate to the concept of equality between men and women and their experience and understanding of how the concept of equality between sex is understood in their work at school.School-legislation today demands that active measures are undertaken to promote equality between boys and girls and in general almost all the respondents of my study describe equality as an utterly important question. My findings although, at the same time, indicate a gap between rhetoric and practice. The findings of my study suggest that structural relations and a decentralised organisation can constitute a hindrance for implementing equality between men and women in schools.

Bakgrund: Strategiarbetet i en organisation handlar om hur man ska nå uppsatta mål och för att lyckas med detta finns det flera olika styrmedel. Ett av de viktigaste styrmedlen är belöningssystem och dess främsta syfte är verksamhetsstyrning, motivera till önskvärda prestationer samt rekrytera och behålla medarbetare. Då ett tjänsteföretags främsta tillgång är personalen fann vi ett intresse i att studera sambandet mellan företags mål, strategi och belöningssystem i två försäkringbolag inom tjänstebranschen.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva och förklara hur utformningen av belöningssystemet matchar företagets mål och strategi samt vilka svårigheter det finns i detta arbete. I de fall vi anser matchningen vara svag kommer vi även bidra med rekommendationer och förbättringsförslag till hur systemen kan kopplas bättre.Metod: Denna uppsats är en flerfallsstudie på företagen Länsförsäkring Kronoberg och Folksam AB vilka är verksamma inom försäkringsbranschen. Vi har genomfört två semi-strukturerade intervjuer med två olika personer på respektive företag.

In healthcare there is a rapid development towards introducing and implementing a wide range of information technology (IT) to aim for higher quality and more effective care. A common health information system (Cambio Cosmic) has been implemented in Landstinget Kronoberg. Clinical microsystems are the frontline units where staff and pa-tient meet. When the conditions in the microsystems are changed, it is interesting to de-scribe and analyse the consequences.The purpose of this study is to describe how health care staff uses a health information sys-tem and how they experience its functionality in their patient work. Initially, a literature re-view about the use of health information system was undertaken, followed by a qualitative case study based on interviews about how healthcare staff describes their reality.

The marketing campaign ?Låna dig rik? [Get rich by lending] involved 25 public libraries in three regions; Kronoberg, Kalmar and Blekinge. This paper examines 28 news-articles concerning this campaign, found in eight publications in the responding regions. The purpose of this is to determine to what extent the description of the campaign found therein responded to the intents of its founders and to what extent the public had a say in these articles. The result found indicates that the overall image of the campaign presented in the news-articles was well in correspondence with the intents of the campaign itself but that the public views where arguably absent..

Inledning: Uppsatsen handlar om intern styrning inom hälso- och sjukvården, närmare bestämt av vårdcentraler med olika huvudmannaskap. Det är viktigt att undersöka hur styrningen och organisering är uppbyggd eftersom resurserna som finns tillgängliga bör användas på bästa sätt för att kunna ge en effektiv och kvalitativ vård för alla patienter. Detta då kostnadsökningar sker vilket leder till att effektiviseringar krävs.Frågeställning: 1. Hur används finansiell och icke-finansiell information för intern styrning av offentligt och privat ägda vårdcentraler i Landsting Kronoberg?2.

This survey has as its aim to see how two local newspapers in the city Växjö and the region of Kronoberg in Sweden reported and acted in connection to the referendum taking place in 1922 whether or not alcoholic beverages should be prohibited. In order to do this we analyzed Smålandsposten and Nya Växjöbladet to see their reporting. We found that the numbers of articles and debate contributions increased during the months closer to the referendum. We also found that Nya Växjöbladet where slightly supporting the prohibition of alcohol while Smålandsposten where against it. The arguments used by both sides during the debate were also analyzed.

The purpose of this study is to understand school counselors knowledge and work with cyber bullying among students. Our study is based on the result from eight qualitative semi-structured interviews. These interviews were conducted with school counselors working at elementary and high school in the state of Kronoberg, Sweden. Our theoretical base is human services organizations, street level bureaucrats and acting space. Our study shows that school counselors have adopted cyber bullying in various ways which has an impact on their knowledge and systematical work regarding this question.

This is a qualitative study with a hermeneutic and partially inductive approach. The study?s purpose is to enhance the understanding of young adults experiences of unemployment and the importance of being employed. In this study, eight young adults participate in the project Framtid Kronoberg. The youths are 19-25 years of age.
