Den sociala påverkan som företag har på sin omgivning har blivit mer och mer uppmärksammad av samhället. Intressenterna är idag medvetna om vilket socialt ansvar företagen tar och de har högre förväntningar på vad företagen bör ta ansvar för. Problematiken ligger i själva utförandet av redovisningen av det sociala ansvaret. Det omfattar nämligen många olika aspekter vilket kan medföra svårigheter för företagen att redovisa sitt sociala ansvar. Intressenterna har fått en betydande roll vid redovisningen av det sociala ansvaret varför det är viktigt att företagen tillgodoser intressenternas förväntningar.

Uppsatsens syfte är att identifiera kritiska framgångsfaktorer inom Internetpokerbranschen för att öka förmågan att analysera framtidsutsikterna i branschen. För att uppnå syftet utarbetas en branschanalysmodell som tar hänsyn till den dynamik som existerar i pokerbranschen. I uppsatsen används en kvalitativ metod och ett abduktivt angreppssätt. Det genomförs intervjuer med två Internetpokerföretag och två journalister med god insikt i branschen. Vidare görs en genomgång av marknadsläget i Internetpokerbranschen.

Abstract Cavities used to be a very common problem but over time humans have learned to take care of their teeth. However, there are still many who have problems. This problem is due to microorganisms and in particular the various streptococci and lactobacilli producing acids which loosens up the enamel on teeth. These bacteria can be found at various places in the mouth and saliva. Besides being a discomfort it can be a major problems and the damaged tooth needs to be removed or make a dental filling. The aim of the study was to see how intake of probiotic tablets containing Lactobacillus reuteri PTA ATCC 5289 and Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938 affects the levels of oral Streptococcus mutans and lactobacilli over a three-week period.

Denna C-uppsats granskar OmVärlden som behandlar bistånd, utveckling och globala frågor och som ställs till förfogande av Sida (Styrelsen för internationellt utvecklingssamarbete). Studien grundar sig i ett övergripande intresse för hur medierna påverkar samhällets uppfattning om verkligheten och för studien relevant, postkoloniala föreställningar om maktrelationer och strukturer i utvecklingsländer.Studien innefattar en förstudie i kombination med kritisk diskursanalytisk metod vilken appliceras på fem skilda reportage ur OmVärlden. Syftet är vidare att se hur journalistiska texters uppbyggnad bidrar till att konstituera samhällets föreställningar om rådande hegemoniska strukturer. För att definera studiens problemområde ställs frågor om reportagens dominerande teman och aktörer samt representationen av genus. Detta följs sedan av en utredning av Sidas eventuella röst och påverkan vad gäller OmVärldens redaktionella innehåll.

This study is an attempt to shed light on the importance of fiction as a bridge between different cultures and traditions. The objective of this essay is threefold. First it explores the potentiality of fiction as a communication channel between different cultures, societies and social groups. Secondly, it studies the availability of foreign fiction in Swedish language. And thirdly it tries to approach and analyze the structures and mechanisms behind that availability.

Purpose: We have three purposes that will answer our problem questions. Our first purpose is to identify how diversification effects for investors changed between emerging markets and developed markets in the period 1996-2010. Our second purpose is to examine the two crises, IT and financial crisis, and if the correlations between these two crises have changed. Our third purpose is to examine to what extent the Swedish stock market was influenced by other markets in the period 1996-2010, the IT and financial crisis.Methodology: The method is based on an analytic model consisting of two tools; Regression- and Correlation analysis. The Regression analysis will be used when investigating if a change in a foreign stock market affects a change on the Swedish stock market.

In Halland, agriculture is the major source of eutrophication of water. In the study, synoptic sampling were performed in the three watercourses Nyrebäcken, Skintan and Vinån all located in the county of Halland. Sampling occurred during the period February to May on three occasions with different flow rates: high, low and base flow. Samples were taken in the mainstream and tributaries with intention to show how big the impact of eutrophication it is in the water and  to assess the impact of the tributariesThe results show that all watercourses are affected by eutrophication. Nyrebäcken has the highest concentrations of nitrogen and phosphorus in the mainstream, then Skintan and last Vinån.

The aim of this thesis is to expand the understanding of 16th century Flemish art by approaching paintings by artists Pieter Aertsen (1508-1575), Joachim Beuckelaer (1533-1574) and Pieter Bruegel (c. 1525-1569) from a different perspective. This is done by extending the discourse of art history, into a discourse of literary history and primarily 16th century novels by authors such as François Rabelais and Miguel de Cervantes. The paintings are studied in relation to these 16th century novels, by comparison and as a testament of this specific time period. A widening contextualization is also constructed in which a connection to the expression of the carnivals ambivalent form, as well as the notion of lower classes is explored.

Paradoxically, picture stones and sagas frequently tell about these objects as if they were very common, something that is contradicted by the archaeological material. In fisheries, there is a long tradition to use catch data when evaluating changes in the stock and effects from harvesting. It is a common practice to use Catch Per Unit Effort (CPUE) as an index of population size, and several studies have investigated the properties of CPUE in relation to population abundance, spatial distribution and efficiency of gear. In research, catch rate on trap-transects is used as an index of abundance for wildlife species but CPUE is rarely applied as a tool in harvest management.In 1993, more than 60 000 km2 of the state managed mountain range in Sweden was opened to the public for small game hunting, under the responsibility of the county administrative boards in Jämtland, Västerbotten and Norrbotten. The total area is now divided into 332 hunting units (median=73 km2) and an internet based system is used to administer licences and reporting bag statistic. Each hunter has to register the results within two weeks after the hunt.

This study analyzes 66 Swedish actively managed mutual funds investing in the Swedish stock market during the period 2005-2014. The purpose is through pooled data regressions analyze the relationship between both the mutual fund?s annual fee and risk-adjusted return to the fund?s characteristics. The characteristics of the study are the size of the fund's assets, age, if the fund is bank managed or not, Tracking Error, and standard deviation of return.By using the performance measures of CAPM, Fama and French 3-factor model, and Carhart?s 4-factor model monthly risk-adjusted returns are created for all funds over the period.

I denna studie undersöks hur vattenmiljön förändrades i ett område av västra Yoldiahavet, idag sjön Myssjaren i östra Mellansverige. Syftet med undersökningen har varit att återskapa hur vattnets salthalt förändrades i området genom att studera förekomsten av fossil från saltvattenkrävande bentisk kalkskalsfauna i lera från perioden.Fossil hittades från sju år, 10 395-10 388 lervarvsår BP, av den 31 år långa period, 10 410-10 379 lervarvsår BP, som har undersökts. Utifrån fossilförekomsten kunde det konstateras att vattnet var bräckt under dessa sju år. Eftersom att fossil inte hittades från tidigare och senare perioder Därför är det möjligt att vattnet var bräckt både före och efter denna period.Det som begränsade de undersökta arternas utbredning i området var halten suspenderat sediment i vattnet. Det var en konsekvens av att mycket sediment transporterades till området i och med att området befann sig mellan två större utlopp av glacialt smältvatten.Därför har denna studie, förutom att konstatera att vattnet var bräckt under den undersökta perioden, även visat en succession av arter i Yoldiahavet.I studien identifieras också en 4 år lång kallperiod som varade mellan 10 393-10 389 lervarvsår BP.

The purpose of this study is to map out and to analyze the spatial variation of female representation at the national level in established democracies. The aim is also to explain the variation in the female representation.
