Today there are many system development projects that break both budget and time plan. Often this depends on defects in the information systems that could have been prevented. The cost of test can in some cases be as high as 50 % of the projects total cost and it's at the same time an important part of development. Test as such has moved its focus from the software it self and its faults to a wider perspective on whole infrastructures of information systems where assure a good quality is important. Sogeti in the Netherlands have developed a test method called TMap (Test Management approach) that can be used for structured testing of information systems.

Uppsatsen syftar till att undersöka vilken roll inkubatorer har vad avser att underlätta startandet av unga teknikbolag (NTBFs) samt understödja deras tillväxt. Genomförandet av undersökningen sker genom att partiellt replikera tillvägagångssättet av en undersökning som under 2004 utfördes i Finland. Undersökningens ansats bygger på såväl kvantitativ som kvalitativ metod. Uppsatsens huvudsakliga teori utgörs av undersökningens finska förlaga. Empirin består av telefonintervjuer med 18 företrädare för NTBFs verksamma i svenska inkubatorer.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka och beskriva hur arbetet som anhörigkonsulent inom äldreomsorgen ser ut. Studiens frågeställningar är vilka former av stöd som erbjuds anhöriga till äldre personer, på vilket sätt anhörigstöd och sjukvård samverkar gällande anhöriga till äldre personer samt hur stödet för män respektive kvinnor ser ut.Studien har ett kvalitativt utgångsläge varav tolv anhörigkonsulenter har intervjuats. Resultatet påvisar att informanterna erbjuder samtalsstöd i form av enskilda samtal och gruppsamtal, direkt stöd i form av exempelvis rådgivning och indirekt stöd i form av att till exempel hänvisa den anhöriga rätt. Resultatet visar även att det finns en samverkan mellan anhörigstöd och sjukvård men att den i många fall kunde ha fungerat bättre. Informanterna menar att det stöd de erbjuder män respektive kvinnor ser likadant ut.

Within this pillar you can find value stream map­ping, which is used to analyze the value stream through the process. This tool gives a wide perspective and helps to keep focus on the entire process instead of just parts of it.Volvo Penta in Vara has earlier done value stream mapping but without good results since they didn?t take set-up times and imbalances in account.

This report documents the process of designing a laboratory exercise in Fourier analysis at Vetenskapens Hus (House of Science) in Stockholm. The lab is designed for high school students studying science or technical education. It focuses on the physicalunderstanding and mathematical description of sound, in particular music. A model of such a lab is presented in this work; containing a review of the mathematical theory, summary of educational research in the field, descriptions of the design process and of the investigativework that led to the final result. The designed material for the lab includes developed computer programs, visit leader tutorial and description for teachers. .

Multipel Skleros (MS) är en neurologisk sjukdom som kan medföra handikapp och även utgöra ett hot mot livet självt. Sjukdomen konfronterar ofta människan med upplevelser av lidande. Det är viktigt att vårdpersonal känner igen lidande då de i arbetet möter fenomenet dagligen. Först när vårdaren ser lidande kan det lindras. Studiens teoretiska referensram utgår från professor Katie Erikssons studier om lidande och tar fasta på definitioner av lidande och hur man kan lindra det.

My working process is craft based and influenced by devotion for the textile material and techniques, but the concept is just as important. I mainly do sculptural objects where I treat fascination, frustration and disgust for the human body from a personal perspective. I am also deeply fascinated with Michael Jackson; an iconic figure that I adore above all else. A man with an inner musical ability, dedicated his entire life to tame and signify it through his body. My master work is an investigation where I look upon similarities and connections between my fascination with the body and the admiration and fascination with Michael Jackson.

Sammanfattning Syftet med undersökningen är att få fördjupad kunskap kring hur maskulinitet och femininitet hanteras inom manlig och kvinnlig konståkning. Jag ville undersöka om konståkning erbjuder män en alternativ maskulinitet samt hur denna alternativa maskulinitet påverkar kvinnlig konståkning. För att besvara frågorna har jag intervjuat tränare och domare inom konståkningen samt observerat tevesändningar från VM i konståkning 2009 och 2010. Detta har jämförts med litteratur om konståkning, genus och andra relevanta studier. Genus kan förstås som en kulturell tolkning av biologiska skillnader mellan könen.

The purpose of this study was to highlight LGBT asylum-seekers experiences of expressing their sexual identity or gender identity in the country of origin and in the asylum process in Sweden. By interviewing people who got permanent residence in Sweden because of gender or sexual orientation in Utlänningslagen (2005:716) we have been able to explore their own experiences from expressing themselves. This study analyse these experiences from a social psychological perspective, from this analysis we aimed to obtain a deeper understanding of how the experiences from the country of origin affects on the experiences in the asylum process. This study shows that LGBT asylum-seekers often is facing negative reactions from the environment in the country of origin, these reactions can limit their possibilities to express their sexual identity or gender identity in the asylum process in Sweden. The negative reactions they experience in the country of origin have contributed to that many LGBT people internalize feelings of fear to express themselves, feelings that often stays when they come to Sweden to seek asylum.

This thesis uses ten years of data to examine the underlying drivers behind changes in the taxi price, specifically we look at the relationship between the taxi price and changes in the underlying costs. We use a two-step error correction framework to investigate how changes in costs affect prices in the long run as well as in the short run. We also study if the price adjustment process is asymmetric. Furthermore, we examine if price discrimination exists on the taxi market in Stockholm. We find that in the long run the pass-through effect is almost complete, whereas in the short run prices are considerably less sensitive to cost changes.

We?ve used a qualitative approach and made eight interviews withrecruiters from the media and also people who have built a digital identity.We?ve used Bauman?s theory about consumer society, Montoya?s eight lawsof personal branding and also theories about profiling, and communicationsplanning to analyze the material.

This master thesis reviews advances in detection and diagnosis of static friction (stiction) in control valves. Control valves suffering from stiction results in oscillating control loops which in turn decreases both the process stability and reliability. Perstorp AB sees a necessity to automatically detect stiction in valves before the effects of the malfunctioning valves have become too severe. This thesis presents an introduction to maintenance, control loops and how stiction in valves can affect performance of control loops.A selection of methods presented in the literature are introduced and examined using normal operating data from the site in Perstorp. Common for all selected methods is their intuitive ideas and that they are based on normal operating data and minimum amount of process knowledge.

In 2002 the local council of Lund, Sweden, decides to implement the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child. A number of actors, such as the state, the civil society, the political society and the bureaucracy, participate in the political process with different authority and points of departure. This thesis studies the actors´ interactions from an inside perspective by applying concepts such as political power, democracy and implementation. The methodological departure is action research from within, a local NGO, the local board of Save the Children Sweden. The results of the study indicate that governance and steering of the implementation process at the communal level is weak.
