Utveckling av sprutpump : Konstruktion och utvärdering av prototyp
This report describes how a syringe pumpwas developed for Q-linea AB inUppsala Science Park as a bachelor´sthesis at Uppsala University. Thepurpose of the syringe pump is toreplace existing pumps in one of Qlineasdosage instruments. The reasons for whythe pumps are replaced are that they arebig and heavy. Therefore the task was todesign a smaller and lighter syringepump.The goal of the project was to create aprototype of the design that met themechanical requirements posed. Therequirements were met.In the report the work process can befollowed from the development of thespecifications to the final design andtests of the prototype.

Konstruktion av laddstation till mätinstrument
Vi har i samarbete med HemoCue AB utfört ett exemensarbete inom konstruktionsteknik. HemoCue AB utvecklar, tillverkar och marknadsför patientnära medicinteknisk utrustning. De erbjuder testning av patienter på ?plats? med samma noggrannhet och precision som om testet skulle ske på ett laboratorium med ett laboratorium instrument. Syftet med detta projekt var att ta fram en laddstation till ett mätinstrument.De krav som vi hade att följa var många, de mest utslagsgivande var dock att laddstationen skall vara placerad liggandes på bordet och att användning av instrumentet under laddnings tiden skall vara möjlig utan några som helst problem.De metoder som vi valt att arbeta efter är dels Brainstorming och dels Fredy Olssons metoder för Princip- och primär konstruktion(1976). Vi har även tittat en del på Arne Åkessons tillverkningskonstruktion(1981). Att vi valt att arbeta med dessa är för att få med all viktig dokumentation, från idé till färdigt konstruktions underlag.Detta examensarbete har resulterat i en prototyp av en laddstation som uppfyller samtliga krav och önskemål som vi haft att arbeta efter. Det underlag som vi tagit fram kommer HemoCue AB troligtvis att utveckla ännu lite längre innan laddstationen kommer att i bruk..
Design, konstruktion och test av LED-spektrometer
A LED spectrometer has been constructed for qualitative spectrometry using certain wavelenghts. The LEDs and the photodiode are being controlled with a microcontroller that is connected to a computer to power the components and save data. The spectroanalysis made with the LED spectrometer were significantly different to a standard spectrometer, concluding that more analysis should be made until a final product is ready. Some areas of improvements are suggested. .

This degree project was conducted in collaboration with Gremo AB located in Ätran.The aim of the project was to develop a solution to secure quality and to help assemblingthe locknut holding the vertical hinge on the harvesters and foresters from Gremo.At this time the nut is assembled manually by the aid of an overhead crane. The nut istightened differently from time to time, and there was no specified torque to which it istightened. Another present problem was the locking washer which sometimes getsdamaged during assembly, when this happens the procedure has to be started over fromthe beginning. The current assembly procedure is very time consuming and lengthy forthe employees.Our task was to design a machine that could tighten the nut to a specified torque with amargin of error of ± 3%. The assembly procedure will be held simple and the timerequired at a minimum.The project started by developing several principle solutions, the one solution that bestmatched our specifications were developed to a primary solution.Today we have started manufacturing and assembling our prototype.

Further, we have investigated whether there are specific characteristics of the domain that the design principles do not cover. In the survey we have studied two sites which are representative of the streamed TV domain. Konstruktion av maskinbeklädnad
Vårt examenarbete är utfört i samarbete med InterSystem AB i Ängelholm. InterSystem konstruerar, monterar och säljer transportörsystem samt pallastare tillkunder inom livsmedel, läkemedel och kemiindustrin. Syftet med examensarbetet är att förenkla monteringen av maskinbeklädnaden på företagets pallastare. I dagsläget kräver maskinbeklädnaden en mycket tidsödande monteringsprocess som dessutom utförs på en provisorisk arbetsbänk. Vår uppgift har därför varit att göra förändringar i beklädnadens konstruktion för att möjliggöra en snabbare montering samt att konstruera en arbetsplats där monteringen kan ske snabbt och ergonomiskt.
Introduktion till icke-standard analys - Ett bevis av transferprincipen och en explicit konstruktion av Brownsk rörelse
I denna rapport konstrueras inledningsvis hyperreella tal från reella tal. Vi definierar aritmetik för skuggor av hyperreella tal och presenterar en icke-standard teori för serier och konvergens utifrån denna konstruktion.Förfarandet generaliseras sedan genom att skapa en icke-standard modell till matematisk analys utifrån en mängdteoretisk modell i ZF, som ett led i konstruktionen presenteras teori för filter och ultraprodukter. Vi visar sedan transferprincipen och bygger upp internalitetsbegreppet för att studera relationer mellan standard ochicke-standard modellerna för att kunna härledda standardresultat från icke-standard resultat. Konstruktion av säkerhetslagerför svänghjul
This thesis is the result of the investigation and solution of a mechanicalproblem regarding flywheel malfunctions. A flywheel is, in short, a devicethat relies on a rotating object?s moment of inertia to store energy overshort time spans. This project is part of the development of a fourthflywheel prototype at the division for electricity at Uppsala university,which uses magnetic levitation to keep a hollow cylinder rotating at veryhigh speeds inside a vacuum chamber. Should the magnets fail however, orsome other error occur that leads to an uncontrolled state of rotation, thecylinder needs to be stabilized mechanically by a device usually referredto as ?back-up bearing?.

Normally the operational amplifier is used as a component in active filter design. The goal for future components in filter design is large bandwith and the use of low supply voltages. The use of current-mode instead of voltage-mode circuits gets a step closer to the required performance. A component that use current as the signal conveying part is the current conveyor. In this report a comparative study between two current conveyor structures of second generation (CCII) is performed.
Utvärdering och konstruktion av SVIA:s standardmaskin FeedLine
This report describes an bachelor thesis work which is performed in cooperation with SVIA that develops and sells automation solutions for the manufacturing industry. The thesis purpose was to evaluate the machine FeedLine to find opportunities for improvement in the product?s design that could lead to more standardization and thus improving the efficiency of manufacturing and assembly.Based on these basic issues suggestions for improvements were developed:How can the design of FeedLine be improved to facilitate the assembly?Can more standardization be imposed on FeedLine?s design to enable more stocking of standard components?An initial pre-study was conducted to evaluate FeedLine?s to find opportunities for improvement in its overall design. During the pre-study staff at SVIA and two of its clients was interviewed. Based on information gathered during the interviews and observations by the authors improvements was amendments.

Scana-Booforge is a Swedish company which specialize in heat treatment of various metal. The treatments take place in quenching ovens, where fans are used to circulate the hot air. The fans used today do not have a satisfactory lifespan. This thesis aims to develop a new design of the fans for the quenching ovens, and the goal is that the new fans will bring cost savings for Scana-Booforge.The design development process started with mapping out the environment in which the fans operate, and with analysis of the existing fan structure and damages, in order to establish the cause of failure and of short durability. The performance of the fan were also established at this stage.

I work on a lighting design for a dance performance to be on tour. A lighting design adapted for
three different conditions was made:
- One comprehensive where I allow myself a great deal of creative freedom, adapted for the
stages with major technical conditions.
- One smaller version for stages with less equipment and with less time for preparation on
site.
- One design for very simple conditions.
I also examine the specific differences between typical theatrical lighting design and typical dance
lighting design, and the best way to prepare for the hands-on stage design phase..
