The aim of this investigation was to assess if there was a correlation between touch avoidance and hierarchical position, perceived degradation, number of years spent in jail and age amongst men at a correctional institution. In addition, a possible correlation between hierarchical position and the amount of perceived degrading treatment was also explored. In the collection of the data a questionnaire containing 27 open and closed answer alternatives was utilized. A multiple regressional analysis was conducted to find possible correlations between touch avoidance and the other underlying variables. Also an independent t-test explored the possible effects of the control variables: place of birth and girlfriend.

Introduktion:Den ökade globaliseringen bidrar till ett hårdare företagsklimat i Sverige. Denna utveckling återspeglar sig hos de svenska underleverantörer och legotillverkare som befinner sig i globala försörjningskedjor. För att kunna behålla sin position i dessa försörjningskedjor måste dessa underleverantörer och legotillverkare identifiera vilka aktiviteter och egenskaper som värdesätts av deras kunder.Syfte:Rapportens syfte är att identifiera och belysa de aktiviteter och faktorer som kan ge en svensk legotillverkare konkur-rensfördelar, genom att undersöka legotillverkarens nuvarande relationer och situationer med strategiskt viktiga kunder.Metod:Rapporten bygger på en fallstudie där ett företag har varit utgångspunkt. Fallstudien bygger på en kvalitativ metod som består av intervjuer med fallföretags kunder. Intervjuerna utgör det empiriska materialet som tillsammans med den teoretiska referensramen har legat till grund för analysen.Slutsats:Rapporten slutsats är att det finns möjligheter för en svensk legotillverkare att fortsätta vara konkurrenskraftig trots den globala konkurrensen.

Bakgrund: På intensivvårdsavdelningar finns olika rutiner kring huruvida endotrakealtubens position hos intuberade skall skiftas eller bibehållas i samma mungipa, då sidbyten kan leda till allvarliga komplikationer. The purpose of this study is to explore how different discourses about risk linked to HIV prevention is likely to affect the decisions on the distribution of state funding for preventive activities aimed at 'men who have sex with men' (MSM). This by making qualitative interviews with principals that have an impact on this decision. Using a discourse analytic approach, based on both theoretical and methodological foundations, I investigate the discursive constructions of risk of HIV linked to certain groups and behaviors. MSM is found in the material placed into two different formations of groups, on one hand by the behavior on the other hand on the basis of identity. The identity position is organized discursively from a ?victim? position while MSM provides an "operator" position.

Arbetets syfte har varit att undersöka etableringen av konstnärsduon Elmgreen & Dragset och hur de med konstverket The Award (2014) utmanat den sociala hierarkin i det konstnärliga fältet. Genom Erwin Panofskys analysmodell i ikonologi har arbetet undersökt hur konstverket innefattar en kritisk handling. Metoden har varit att med ett konstsociologiskt perspektiv undersöka vilken typ av position konstnärsduon etablerat sig i det konstnärliga fältet samt hur de utmanat en överordnad position i samma fält. Metoden har även varit att undersöka hur den kritiska handlingen kan förstås som ett sätt att upprätthålla en avantgarde-position. The purpose of this thesis was to illuminate and create a deeper understanding of how small niche retail businesses within the apparel industry position themselves. We aimed to investi-gate how these small niche retail businesses create their position and how they communicate these positions to their target market. Ett perceptionsexperiment som utfördes ger en inblick i hur korttidsminnet fungerar i praktiken och innefattar randmönster och ovaler som stimuli. Responstid och precision mäts och jämförs med avseende på betingelser som position och orientering. The environmental requirements and laws on combustion engine emissions are very tough today andthey will become even more stringent in the future. To achieve these requirements there are highdemands on the control systems for these engines. An improved precision in the measurement of anengine's speed and position gives the electronic control system an even better timing when it comes tofuel injection and ignition.
