Uppsatsen är ett examensarbete i Produktdesignprogrammet på Malmö Högskola. Projektet analyserar med hjälp av Kritisk designteori de samhällsnormer som kopplas till dockor för flickor i åldern 7-11. En studie av ämnen kopplade till relationer och interaktioner mellan barn och docka utfördes genom litteratursökningar och intervjuer med målgrupper. Utifrån slutsatser i studien utformades koncept, ämnade att kritisera idealiseringen av passivitet och skönhetsfokus som marknaden är präglad av. Ett koncept valdes ut och utvecklades vidare med hjälp av Kritiska designmetoder..

Som en reaktion på storskaliga etablerade affärssystem och långa miljöbelastande transporter på livsmedelsområdet efterfrågar konsumenter i allt större utsträckning livsmedel från närområdet. På nötköttsområdet har en rad närproducerade koncept växt fram för att tillgodose det marknadsbehovet. Det är därför intressant att studera i vilken utsträckning närproducerade koncept kan bidra till lönsamheten i svensk nötköttsproduktion. Jag har i huvudsak använt mig av två metoder i arbetet, litteraturgenomgång och intervjuundersökning. Litteraturgenomgången syftar till att få allmän kunskap om ämnet, men också vilka närproducerade koncept som finns och hur de ser ut. Intervjuundersökningen har genomförts med aktörer i värdekedjan, från butik till producent, för att få en bild av problem och framgångfaktorer i närproducerade koncept. Det viktigaste resultatet av arbetet är, lite överraskande, att det inte är närproducerat som producenterna i första hand marknadsför som det viktigaste mervärdet utan jämn och hög ätkvalité.

The environmental debate is more intensive than ever before and the demands on companies increase. There are a number of methods to make it easier for the companies to fulfil the demands. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) end ecodesign are some of the methods that can be used. Syntronic AB has the possibility to reduce the products´ environmental impact in the design phase. Therefore it is important for the company to make it possible to visualize the negative environmental impacts a product can cause in an easy way. It is also important to visualize for there clients if any improvement is possible. The purpose of this thesis is to develop a simplified model.

Detta examensarbete är ett projekt avsett att ta fram en ny lösning eller vidareutveckla den existerade skärmaskinen som används av Solmarka bageriet. Projektet har till syfte att förbättra funktionen, livslängden och prestandan av skärmaskinen jämfört med hur den är idag. This paper aim to present a model for evaluating what we choose to call HTML-frameworks, a framework that contains a set of CSS layouts and occasionally JavaScript support, based on the characteristics of the software quality standard ISO/IEC 9126-1. The methods used to produce this model is based on a field study that involved making a web portal with the help of a HTML-framework, some relevant literature and an analysis of the framework based on the characteristics of the ISO/IEC 9126-1 standard. The result was a model based on twelve different characteristics; functionality, web browser compatibility, collaborative skills, user-friendliness, documentation, visuals, graphic layout, performance, activity, professional support, replaceability and license. This model should be viewed upon as a suggestion to what a model for choosing HTML-framework could look like, because we haven?t had the time to test it in a real situation, so further studies are needed, and we believe there could be improvements made in the objectivity of the assessments of the characteristics..

This report describes the building of a computer model that makes it possible to simulate the thermal climate in a greenhouse. The computer model is built on the physical theory of heat exchange that occur in a greenhouse, such as radiation and convective heat exchange. The model also includes the heat storage that is active in a greenhouse.The computer model is used to simulate the thermal climate in a greenhouse under three periods, winter, spring and summer. It also investigates which effect a concrete wall has on the thermal climate in a greenhouse. The purpose of putting a concrete wall in the greenhouse model is to investigate the possibility to store heat during the day and then use this heat when the temperature drops during the night.The result from the simulations shows that a concrete wall levels the big difference in temperature that normally occurs under a day in a greenhouse.

 A villas price depends on several important factors. By statistical data, a mathematical multiple regression model was modeled. The model has important explanatory variables such as living space, renovation year and standard points has been taken into consideration, in order to assess their impact on the final price for private homes.By using a statistical program,Minitab 16, the final model was selected with eight explanatory variables. The regression for this model explains up to 67.3 % of the variation on the final price.The results showed percentage wise that the standard points had the greatest impact on the price, there after renovation year and then living space..

Because of new emission and on board diagnostics legislations, heavy truck manufacturers are facing new challenges when it comes to improving the engines and the control software. Accurate and real time executable engine models are essential in this work. One successful way of lowering the NOx emissions is to use Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR). The objective of this thesis is to create a mean value model for Scania's next generation EGR system consisting of a poppet valve and a two stage cooler. The model will be used to extend an existing mean value engine model.

I Falun finns företaget Panorera AB som med företagsegna (slutet system) prefabricerade komponenter bygger en- och flerbostadshus. To enable the enhancement of the driver's environment in a forklift, an alternative form of steering has been evaluated. An earlier concept with a combined driving and steering wheel has been exchanged to a concept with two driving wheels. A link wheel has replaced the combined driving and steering wheel. The steering is done through differentiation of the velocities of the two driving wheels. The scope of this master thesis is to create a simulation model, create a control program and to evaluate the concept of two driving wheels.

Med hänvisning till hur fine dining restauranger i Sverige idag läggs ned alternativt byter koncept föreföll det relevant att undersöka vilka betydelsefulla faktorer som avgör huruvida ett fine dining koncept blir konkurrenskraftigt. Med hänvisning till detta formulerades syftet att identifiera betydelsefulla faktorer som bidrar till ett konkurrenskraftigt fine dining koncept. Med kvalitativ ansats och ett induktivt förhållningssätt har vi undersökt detta problem med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer. Studien har under hela processen utgått från FAMMs fem aspekter, rummet, mötet, produkten, atmosfären samt styrsystemet och modellen har använts för att analysera insamlad empiri samt strukturera resultatet. Studien har påvisat flertalet faktorer som bidrar till ett konkurrenskraftigt fine dining koncept.

The building industry are currently going through a huge alteration. The introduction of BIM (Building Information Modeling). Which also implements a lot of new ways of solving problems that building modeling can cause. This report is written for Uppsala University in cooperation with Temagruppen in Uppsala. However, it contains a comparison between two different systems that checks building models.

Så kallade demokratiska skolor som Sudbury Valley i Massachusetts och Summerhill i England kombinerar individuell frihet och gemensamt ansvarstagande för att gynna både lärande och utveckling av demokratisk kompetens hos skolbarnen. Trots att deras koncept under mer än 80 års tid har visat sig vara synnerligen framgångsrikt och trots att både lärande och demokratisk kompetensutveckling står högt på agendan för skolutveckling i både Sverige och internationellt, nämns dessa skolor eller deras koncept inte alls i diskussionen om den svenska skolans utveckling.I ett samhälle där beslut skall förankras i vetenskapliga fakta, faller det rimligen på allmänpedagogikens bord att kunna förklara de nämnda skolornas framgångar.Mitt syfte är att med hjälp av relevant litteratur granska de demokratiska skolornas praktiska koncept, att undersöka möjligheter att formulera en allmänpedagogisk teori utifrån detta koncept, samt beröra den traditionella skolans utvecklingsmöjligheter i riktning som en sådan teori utpekar. En etnografisk innehållsanalytisk metod har använts för att jämföra och samordna denna litteratur. Det visar sig att befintlig kunskap ger ett utmärkt stöd för de demokratiska skolornas praktiska koncept och att analysen ger upphov till hypotesbildningar på den önskade teoretiska nivån. Frågan om den traditionella skolans utvecklingsmöjligheter i ?demokratisk? riktning måste diskuteras bland annat ur ett maktperspektiv, och ett par inlägg i en sådan diskussion finns i sista kapitlet..
