There are several methods and models within the areas of software engineering on how to proceed during a software development process. For each of these methods and models there are benefits and drawbacks, depending on how you choose to look at them. A difference of principle between the different models is that they either advocate iterative development or not. In parts of software engineering one makes use of different methods depending on which is most fitting in a specific situation. There are several methods on how to recieve more qualitative data from the end-users during the requirement collection, but the reappearing pattern is still user centric participation, which means that the user participates more actively in part of or the entire development process.

The Public Sector Scorecard (PSS) is a younger version of the balanced scorecard, created for public and nonprofit organizations. The latest model of PSS is divided into three main groups and seven perspectives, while the balanced scorecard consists of four perspectives. Organizations who use either PSS or the balanced scorecard are supposed to have a clear vision spread all over the unit. This study has sought differences between the two models of financial control in both theory and practice. The first part of the study is a theoretical comparison between the models? structures and terms used in them.

Mer specifikt studeras vad som kr?vs f?r att f?nga tittarens uppm?rksamhet vid produktplaceringar och hur exponeringarna f?r publiken att resonera och motivera sina upplevelser av det varum?rket som marknadsf?rs. Med fr?gest?llningen hur uppfattar unga vuxna produktplaceringar av specifika varum?rken som marknadsf?rs i TV-serien Snabba Cash och p? vilka s?tt p?verkar uppfattningarna attityden mot varum?rket? Studien har en deskriptiv och explorativ kvalitativ ansats med semistrukturerade intervjuer av djup karakt?r. Det teoretiska ramverket best?r av Persuasion Knowledge Model (PKM) och Elaboration Knowledge Model (ELM).

Syftet med detta arbete var att försöka konceptutveckla en metod för att utvärdera och utveckla upplevelseprodukter med utgångspunkt i principerna om andra generationens upplevelser och samproduktion. Metoden skulle bygga på en kvantitativ innehållsanalys av offentligt publicerade fotografier som gäster själva tagit i samband med upplevelsen. Vi ville också testa vårt koncept på en verklig upplevelseprodukt via en fallstudie.Utifrån vår första litteraturgenomgång ger vi en inledande bakgrund till områdena upplevelseproduktion, turismfotografi och innehållsanalys med inriktning fotografi. I resultatdelen av uppsatsen beskriver vi sedan det koncept som vi utvecklat utifrån de teorier som vi fann genom en fördjupad litteratursökning. Vi avrapporterar också fallstudien som vi genomförde för att pröva konceptet.

Denna rapport avhandlar ett examensarbete gjort utav Johanna Nilsson studerande på Mälardalens Högskola inom programmet högskoleingenjör, innovation och produktutveckling.Detta examensarbete har utförts på EKA - knivar, vilka är ett ledande företag av knivar inom Sverige. Uppdraget gavs via Johny Kanaan, VD på EKA.Uppdraget gick ut på att utveckla en yxa för EKA med utbytbara delar. En yxa som uppfyller företagets krav samt värderingar för vad en produkt bör vara. Denna skall redovisas med CAD modeller, ritningar, samt denna rapport.För att sedan möta detta uppdrag så började man med att riktigt försöka förstå sig på problemet på dagens produkter ute på marknaden då man inte hade någon produkt att utgå ifrån. Detta gjordes genom en förstudie där man undersökte dagens marknad samt konsumenterna åsikter.

Objective: To investigate the experiences of ambulance nurses when using Boussignac CPAPcompared to their previous model, and their suggestions for possible improvements in the use of CPAP in the care of patients with pulmonary oedema. Method: A qualitative study with a descriptive and exploratory approach. Data was collected through ten semi-structured interviews with ambulance nurses, seven men and three women. The analysis was conducted using Lundman and Graneheim?s content analysis.

This paper aims to analyze the effect of the American Subprime crisis of 2007 through the perspective ofHaynes Minsky?s model according to Charles Kindleberger. The investigation revolves how the anatomyof a financial crisis develops and how it is applicable to the Subprime crisis. More specific conclusionsare derived from applying Minsky?s model to the three largest American indices; Dow Jones industrialaverage, S&P500 and NASDAQ.To deepen the analysis the Case-Shiller home price indices acts as a second parameter tocompliment Minsky?s perspective with Robert J.

Denna rapport är resultatet av ett examensarbete på Civilingenjörsprogrammet Teknisk Design, inriktning produktutveckling vid Luleå tekniska universitet. Utfört under våren 2013 för Tooltech AB i Töre med handledning av Lars Persson och Göran Lindvall på plats i deras lokaler. Arbetet har motsvarat 30 högskolepoäng och har gått ut på att bygga upp en ny standard för kontrollfixturer och höja helhetsintrycket på deras produkter.Projektets syfte har varit att för kontrollfixturer se över alternativa material och tillvägagångsätt att bygga dem, hitta ett färgschema att sätta på dessa men som även kan implementeras på företagets övriga produkter så småningom. Även skapa underlag för hur Tooltech AB ska nå sina kunder. Kraven från Tooltech AB har varit så enkel tillverkning som möjligt men utan några specifika detaljkrav, mer allmänt sunt förnuft eftersom att varje kontrollfixtur är unik.

Den här rapporten avhandlar Kristin Charlie Torsdotters examensarbete i industriell design vid Högskolan på Gotland. Examensarbetet gick ut på att utforma foajén till det påbörjade bostadshuset SommarRo i Uppsala, samt en sittmöbel till foajén. Projektet genomfördes i samarbete med arkitekterna till bostadshuset, Arcum Arkitekter.Projektets tyngdpunk har legat på att utforma en sittmöbel till foajén. Kravet på möbeln var att den inte bara ska vara funktionell och tilltalande utan att den även ska fungera som en installation i rummet. Möbeln skall även binda samman foajén med den övriga byggnaden samtidigt som den ska ha ett tydligt samband med byggnadens överliggande tema: modern japansk design med inslag av skandinavisk samtida design.Arbetet har skett i enlighet med design metodikens olika faser.

SammanfattningFörfattaren Kristoffer Larsson har skrivit rapporten tillsammans med grävlastarstillverkaren Huddig i Hudiksvall. Rapporten beskriver nyutvecklingen av Huddigs spakkonsoler. Bakgrunden till examensarbetet är att Huddig har haft kontinuerlig utveckling av sin interiör och hytt men spakkonsolerna har inte följt med i den utvecklingen. Målet med examensarbetet var att ta fram fyra olika prototyper med hänsyn på utformning, handergonomi, knapplacering, trängstyrningsfunktion, rototilt, materialval och tillverkningsmetod.För att författaren skulle få en bild av vad det fanns för kundsynpunkter och vad andra personen som har en relation till Huddig har för synpunkter gjordes en marknadsundersökning. Därefter följde arbetet med att bryta ned arbetet och produkten i delar med olika metoder.Åtta olika konceptförslag skissades fram och slutligen sållades sex olika delar från koncepten fram.

 This study is made, on behalf of Västerbottens Fotbollsförbund, with the purpose to investigate how the 2008 financial crisis have affected the sponsorship to the voluntary sports sector in the Västerbotten region, with focus on the womens elite football teams. The background of this study was to investigate the effect of the financial crisis to help the voluntary organizations in the future. The study was carried out with a qualitative approach as depth interviews with ten people representing both the voluntary organizations and the sponsoring companies, which one was a previous sponsor. To understand and interpret the result of the interviews we used models such as the stakeholder model, the A-ERIC model and a communication model for sponsorship from literature such as Donaldson and Preston (1995), Mitchell et. al.

This thesis studies the relationship between risk and the first day returns of Initial Public Offerings (IPO) by assessing the risk of each issuing company with a risk model that combine financial key ratios of importance. The study is based on 92 IPO?s that were made on the Stockholm OMX stock exchange during the period of 1997-2009. The point of departure was to investigate if the uncertainty created by the asymmetric information between investors and the issuing firm could be captured by predicting the possibility of failure in the future. This has been studied by applying Skogsvik?s probability of failure model on the 92 issuing firms.

The development in electronics increases the demand for good design methods and design tools in the field of electrical engeneering. To improve their design methods Ericsson Microwave Systems AB is interested in using computer tools to create a link between the specification and the implementation of a digital system in a FPGA. Xilinx System Generator for DSP is a tool for implementing a model of a digital signalprocessing algorithm in a Xilinx FPGA. To evaluate Xilinx System Generator two testcases has been designed. The testcases are selected to represent the FPGA designs made at Ericsson Microwave Systems.

This paper discusses how ten blogs written by librarians talk about using games in the library. What do they talk about and what are their arguments for using games as a learning tool, and what does this say about their views on the library?s role in society?It is examined by using argumentation analysis together with a model for identifying different roles within the library on the blog themselves. By identifying the most important arguments used and placing them within the model, the paper aims to see how the bloggers view the library as a whole and as a part of society.It showed that the reasoning among the librarians varies, but most emphasis was on seeing the library as a meeting space together as an inspirational space, and the use of games can greatly help with that. Especially when viewing the library as a meeting space with room for everyone regardless of their interests..

This paper describes and develops a trade off model of optimal capital structure by Bradley et al. (1984). The model is then tested to examine how changes in corporate tax rates affect the optimal capital structure of firms. Based on theoretical implications of the model, four hypotheses are derived stating that firms? optimal debt-to-value ratio is (1) negatively related to financial distress costs, (2) negatively related to non-debt tax shields, (3) negatively related to firm volatility and (4) positively related to the corporate tax rate.
