BackgroundToday a common approach to solve a complicated problem is to assemble a temporary workforce in order to solve the problem by working together within a project. One of the difficulties with working in projects is to maintain the planned budget. Working hours and costs are often exceeded. Many companies presume that any certain project will succeed, a presumption that leads companies not to anticipate risks involved in a project. In companies today there is seldom time for evaluation or moderation of a project, in order to have time for evaluation there is a great need for an adequate planning of the project.IntentThe intention with this study is to create a model for planning, budgeting and evaluation of projects within consultancy companies.MethodWith the help of interviews and discussions within the group Hamnar och Byggkonstruktioner at Sweco has evidence to present a proposal on planning, budgeting and monitoring been developed.ResultsA model has been developed to ease for consultancy companies to plan, budget, monitor and evaluate projects.

Today`s society requires that municipalities focus must be more on effectivity and quality. Because of this it is important for municipalities to look after the controlling systems. Many municipalities choose to adopt models that reflect the efficacy. The municipality of Vellinge has chosen to implement balanced scorecard in all their efficacies. We found it interesting when it was exposed that 70 % of all implementations of balanced scorecard fails.

?Longboards? är ett examensarbete utfört av Leo Ekbom och Sammy-Sebastian Tawakkoli för innovations- och designingejörsprogrammet vid fakulteten för teknik och naturvetenskap på Karlstads Universitet. Uppdragsgivaren är Space Production AB, projektägare är Dan Edanius, art director och projektledare på företaget. Ett av företagets projekt var våren 2008 att producera Slalom Skateboarding VM och med anknytning till detta växte ett examensarbete fram. Space Production AB började som ett montersnickeri men har idag utvecklats till ett företag som driver fullständiga utställnings- och eventprojekt. Företaget tillhandahåller allt från idéskiss till montering och servning även då huvudsysslan ligger i att producera, installera och lagra utformning från annan part. Uppgiften var att ta fram en produktserie innehållande tre modeller av longbaords med bred spridning.

Purpose: The purpose of this essay is to apply "Discount Dividend model" and "Discounted Cash Flow model" in reality during periods of economic boom alternatively recession.Method: A quantitative research method as well as secondary data and data collection method is used. This data consists of the company?s annual reports. Totally, 20 companies of different sizes under diverse economic conditions are involved in this data.Conclusion: After reviewing the companies? calculations, it is noted that the both models that are used reflect better stock-exchange rate during an economic recession..

Sammanfattning Projektet, Nytt koncept för linspridning, vilket tillhandahölls av Abu Garcia, bestod i att vidareutveckla multiplikatorrullen, Ambassadeur Classic 5000c. Målet var att konstruera en multiplikatorrulle, med vilken fritt utkast erhålls. På dagens multiplikatorrullar passerar linan genom linspridaren, detta medför att linan följer linförarens rörelse under utkastet. Till följd av linförarens rörelse genereras friktion, vilket i sin tur ger ett kortare kast. För att öka kastlängden, skall linspridaren ej vara i kontakt med linan under utkastet.

Eftersom jag är mycket intresserad av framtiden för svensk livsmedelsproduktion valde jag att skriva mitt examensarbete om svensk nötköttsproduktion. På något sätt tror jag att den svenska produktionen kommer att finnas kvar i framtiden och kunna konkurrera med det utländska lågprisköttet. Små besättningar växer, specialiserar sig och blir mer rationella och de som väljer att förbli små nischar sig på något sätt för att få ut ett mervärde för sina produkter. En tydlig trend på marknaden är att handla lokalproducerade varor. Konsumenten vill veta var och hur produkten är producerad.

Denna rapport har skrivits i samband med ett examensarbete i integrerad produktutveckling. Rapporten genomfördes under den avslutande kursen på designingenjörsprogrammet vid högskolan i Skövde 2008 i samarbete med företaget Lundbergs Möbler AB i Tibro.Rapporten redogör för designprocessen där en lösning för att integrera företagets iläggsskivor tas fram för deras matbord. Rapporten skildrar projektets olika delar från förstudie till slutligt koncept.Projektets inledande förstudie påvisade framförallt hur konkurrenternas lösningsprinciper ser ut, hur hanteringen av dagens iläggsskiva ser ut och dess hanteringsproblem samt ergonomin kring hanteringen av iläggsskivan. Det som framkom i förstudien låg därefter som beslutsunderlag för den fortsatta produktutvecklingen. Dessa områden gav en klarhet i om projektet var genomförbart och vidare vilka fysiska begränsningar och möjligheter projektet hade inför det fortsatta produktutvecklingsarbetet.Med den nya kunskapen bakom sig inleddes idégenereringsfasen.

Detta examensarbete omfattar 15 högskolepoäng och skrivs på Mälardalens Högskola i Eskilstuna med inriktning produktdesign ? industriell design. Arbetet genomfördes under vårterminen, april till juni 2014 där en grupp på två personer utvecklade ett trappräcke på Lundbergs produkter AB i Nyköping. Lundbergs tog kontakt med gruppen innan start och presenterade fyra stycken uppdrag. Uppdraget var att utveckla Ekerö räcke i metall, där målet var att få räcket monterbart i trappor och gruppen blev tilldelad en kravspecifikation på vad företaget förväntade sig utav slutprodukten.På grund av den stora säkerhetsfrågan hos ett trappräcke behövdes en analys på problemet och de krav som ställdes på produkten.

The aim of this thesis is to model my artistic practice on an adaptation of Joseph Campbells monomyth and, using this model, investigate challenges of performativity in art (in public spaces). The overall themes are personal, aesthetic and ethical sovereignty and an uncompromising search for a deepening of the artistic practice. More than anything else it is a map and a story of an artist?s expansion out into an artistic field that is little developed in Sweden. It is my hope that this thesis, by using a thoroughly subjective tone, will contribute to the milieu of performative arts in Sweden as well as widen the ?how? regarding the making of a written thesis..

The formulation of visions into practical projects is an important part of the professional expertise of landscape architects. This expertise includes the gathering, structuring, improvement and utilization of knowledge. Project models have been developed to provide tools for the implementation and governance of projects, as well as means of learning, reflection and survey of individual projects. The aim of this thesis is to describe some general project models and their theory, and to describe practical, real-life examples of project models used within landscape architecture. Questions asked are: ? How do the processes of idea to construction in landscape architectural projects lool like? Do project models have a relevance for the mission of landscape architects? ? Is a common project model used within such projects, or is the project model varying depending on e.g.

?Liberal Democracy? is a common term in political theory, and it is used as if it had a commonly accepted referent, with both normative and descriptive content. This is certainly the case in democratic theory, where it on the one hand seems to refer to a normative democratic model; on the other hand it is used descriptively, to refer to real-life democracies. The deliberative democratic sub-field is not an exception; on the contrary, the term is frequently used albeit rarely defined; yet the concept it refers to is supposedly developed enough to allow detailed propositions about its citizens?s political behaviour.This essay is an attempt to analyze how Liberal Democracy is used by three deliberative democrats (Jürgen Habermas, John Dryzek and Stephen Elstub), in order to understand the democratic model (or models), whether normative or descriptive, they refer to.

De vanligaste malmvagnsboggier som idag rullar på järnvägen runt om i världen är konstruerade på 50- och 60-talet. Konstruktionerna har förfinats genom åren vilket gjort att de blivit något lättare och fått bättre gångdynamik, men de flesta boggis är fortfarande tunga och omoderna. Syftet med examensarbetet är att ta fram ett koncept för en 30 % lättare boggi med övriga egenskaper likvärdiga den boggi som används av Kiruna Wagon idag. En lättare boggi innebär både ekonomiska och miljömässiga fördelar. Rapporten behandlar olika boggityper, detaljlösningar och potentiella tillverkningsmetoder som kan tillämpas för att konstruera en lättviktsboggi.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to investigate the library habits of young people, age 15 to 24. Our empirical data are gathered in a survey distributed to 104 young men and women at three different public libraries. The questions are about how young people use the public library, what media and services they use and whether or not they are content with what the public library can offer them. In our analysis we have compared our results to previous research and used a model by Marianne Andersson and Dorte Skot-Hansen to determine how they use the library.

I ambulanssjukvården krävs det många gånger att man tar snabba beslut om hur vårdandet skall utföras. Dessa beslut måste ofta fattas under kort tid och kan många gånger vara livsavgörande. Inom ambulanssjukvården används olika koncept som arbetsredskap vid händelser och olyckor. Ambulanssjukvården i en organisation i väst Sverige har fått utbildning i Prehospital sjukvårdsledning som används vid olyckor och andra större händelser. Syftet med studien var att beskriva ambulanssjuksköterskans upplevelse av att arbeta på olycksplats i ledande befattning.

The standard model concerning the relationship between perception and motility is linear and one-way. It depicts the flow between the two as moving from sensation to perception to representation to computation, and finally, to motility and action. According to this model, animal being is basically a bundle of reflexes. But what can correctly be considered a bundle of reflexes from a natural science point of view, doesn't necessarily have to be true. This conception does not take into consideration the more complex interactions between motility and perception that constitutes, or generates, animal and human beings.
