ABSTRACTThere is a limited possibility for many of the concert-goers to go behind the stage and follow the work process with putting together a program for the concert season in a concert institution. The purpose of this study is to describe a concert institution's work with developing a concert program for each season. This is done through a presentation of the factors affecting the work. This is a descriptive essay and a case study of the Malmö Symphony Orchestra. Interviews have been made with people directly involved in the work or affected by the outcome of the work process.

Increased competition in the IT industry has sparked a need for developing faster innovation processes with more predictable output. One of the biggest issues when it comes to achieving a faster flow through the innovation process lies in managing its high degree of variation. Proposing a solution to this problem, Lean Software Development (LSD), was developed to provide a framework for how IT companies should organize its software development process to achieve increased speed and quality. This study examines to which extent LSD, as a set of values, principles, methods and tools, can be used to improve flow efficiency in the innovation process. A case study of a multinational IT company was made by conducting ten semi-structured interviews with current employees.

 The purpose of my study is to illumine the aesthetic learning process significant in the preschool. Focus has been on allowing educators in different preschools to answer questions valid the use of aesthetic learning processes. I chose to do my study using an opinion poll and a literature review. The result shows that the preschools use aesthetic learning processes and according to the educator?s aesthetic learning process is a very important tool for education in the preschool.  The notable in this study is that the educators have different views of what aesthetic means. The first view is that you only work with aesthetic subjects.

Denna studie centrerar kring en lärares resa för att förändra sin undervisning, sitt tänkande och sina förhållningssätt i en formativ riktning. Syftet med studien är att stödja och dokumentera denna process. Det primära fokus kommer att ligga på lärarens erfarenheter, tankar och reflektioner kring denna omvandling. För att kunna hjälpa läraren och komma dennes upplevelser nära så användes en aktionsforskningsinspirerad metod. Denna metod utgör dessutom studiens sekundära fokus, där aktionsforskning som metod för utvecklingsarbete inom skolan diskuteras. Aktionsforskning där praktikern själv bedriver forskningen utgör alltså en central del av uppsatsen.

The purpose of this thesis is to get knowledge about how it is to work as a librarian at Gothenburg city library during a rebuilding process and during the time when they have worked in a temporary library so called niche library. Which part did they have in the renovation project and in the niche library? The aim is also to find out how the librarians have experienced their time in the niche library and if it has affected their profession and identity.The method that is used to answer questions of the study is semi-structured interviews with four public librarians. Through comparing previous research in building and rebuilding process I have analyzed the four public librarian?s part in the renovating process and the temporary library.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka om barns perspektiv och barnperspektivet, ges utrymme i förvaltningsrättens beslutsunderlag om omhändertagande enligt LVU. Vårt fokus i studien var att utforska om och hur barnets rätt att komma till tals överensstämmer med lagstiftning och tillämpning i domslut. Vår studie är empirisk med en kvalitativ diskursiv ansats och vi har använt oss av en kritisk diskursanalys. Det analyserade materialet består av tio domar från förvaltningsrätten. Resultatet visar att barns rätt att komma till tals i förvaltningsrätten följer rådande lagstiftning.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to increase the understanding of the recruitment process and its complexity. The study also aims to examine whether there are any problem areas with a recruitment process which is emotionally based and if so, how these can be resolved. Four issues have been presented, in regard to solving the study?s purpose and problem definition.Theoretical framework: The chapter begins by briefly illustrate the concept of employee turnover and the economic aspects a staff turnover can bring. Thereafter, the importance of a formal preparatory work for recruitment is presented.

The aim of this thesis is to explore possible differences between public and private companies? way to manage projects. In order to analyze the managerial aspects, we have studied the project of a new payment system implemented at the public-transport organization Upplands Lokaltrafik (UL). The project enables mobile payment by text message (SMS). Most theory concerning the management of projects is developed for private companies.

Nollvisionen: en av de bästa visioner som någonsin lanserats i Sverige? Denna versions mål speglar ett så trafiksäkert vägnät att man ska komma ner till en nollpunkt när det gäller dödade i trafiken. Vi har i detta arbete satt oss in i nollvisionens tankar och mål och sett hur man försöker komma tillrätta med trafikproblemen. Vägverkets roll som mest riktar in sig på infrastrukturella problem medan polisen försöker få bilisterna till ett mera rättsriktigt handlande i trafiken. Sedan har vi bilindustrin som försöker utveckla tekniken i våra fordon så de blir mer säkra.

The aim of this study was to reach a deeper understanding of the process that occurs within the social services after receiving a notification according to Chapter 14, section 1, The Social Services Act. More specifically the focus of this study was to illustrate how social secretaries reason about children?s participation in the process, as well as to examine whether the legislative change, Chapter 11, section 1 a, The Social Services Act, has affected the process in any way. The study?s results reflect interviews with five social secretaries who are active in four different municipalities in southern Sweden.

The purpose of this study was to create a deeper understanding for, and shine a light on the exit process for former criminal gang members. Which conditions appear to be important and what may constitute the enabling and inhibiting factors of an exit process? The study was based on qualitative semi-structured interviews with respondents who themselves have experience of a criminal lifestyle and gang affiliation, and with professionals in social work. Our theoretical approach is based on Helen Ebaugh?s definition of an exit process, labeling theories, strain theory and control theory.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how same-sex couples experience the second-parent adoption process. To assist us, we have used our questions: how do the couples describe their experiences of the adoption process? Which are the couples? stories about the experience of contact with the involved professionals? What are the opportunities and barriers for same-sex couples to start a family? How do the couples describe their experience of reactions from the community and society, and how do they think the future will look like for same-sex couples? This study has been achieved through a qualitative approach. The empirical data is based on seven semi-structured interviews with same-sex couples or pair members that want to or have had a second-parent adoption. The theory we have used for analyzing the results is phenomenology with focus on queer theory, heteronormativity, and power.

I denna kvalitativa studie har vi undersökt icke-heterosexuellas upplevelser av att ?kommaut? som icke-heterosexuell i förhållande till rådande samhällsnormer samt undersökt derasupplevelse av att vara icke-heterosexuell i dagens samhälle. I studien intervjuades åttakvinnor om deras upplevelser och erfarenheter. Materialet analyserades sedan med hjälp avheteronormativitet och socialkonstruktionism. Av studien framgår att respondenternaupplevde att det blir allt mer socialt accepterat i samhället att ha annan sexuell läggning änheterosexuell.

The lack of housing in the Swedish metropolitan areas is today a well-known fact. This isespecially true for the region in and around Stockholm. Due to the large amount ofmunicipality-owned land within Stockholm municipality the area for many new housingprojects are acquired through land allocation. How much time this process of land allocationconsumes for a typical project is today not really known. Equally unknown is the exactoutcome of the process, i.e.

This essay examines the policy process of specialist medical training in three Swedish counties. The essay will first describe the policy process. Secondly the politicians parti-cipating in the process is examined. Thirdly, it is tested whether it is possible to analyze the policy process based on Ostrom's theories of cooperation around a common pool resource. In this case, the common pool resource is specialized medical practitioners skills that the Swedish county councils must collaborate on to competence should be sufficient for the county council needs, something that is not the case today.One conclusion of the study is that the health care law is not clear enough when it comes to who is responsible for providing a sufficient number of specialists.
