Kunskap är en viktig resurs, speciellt inom kunskapsintensiva branscher så som revisionsföretag. En stor del av kunskapen hos en människa utgörs av den tysta kunskapen, som är den kunskapen som är personlig och svår att uttrycka. Genom att skapa en bättre förståelse för den tysta kunskapen, kan företagen utnyttja sina kunskapsresurser på ett bättre sätt. Därför krävs det att den tysta kunskapen studeras. Denna undersökning syftar till att ta reda på vad den tysta kunskapen är och hur den tillvaratas inom revisionsföretagen.

Reasons for performing this study:
Colic has for a long time been seen as a serious health problem in the equine population. Even so, the knowledge of colic seems to differ a great deal among the people interacting with horses. A large number of studies have for several years looked at risk factors that cause colic, in order to provide knowledge about them. The knowledge can then be used as tools for developing prophylactic methods in order to reduce the number of horses that develop colic.
Objectives
The aim with this study was to investigate if people have the correct knowledge about colic in horses, which risk factors that cause colic today and describe prophylactic methods that can result in avoidance of colic in horses.
Method
Eleven veterinary practices were contacted in order to send out two questionnaires for a study of six weeks.

The purpose of this master thesis is to present a model that illuminates the important factors when deriving technical information from market data within a company. For companies to be able to become and stay competitive in the market, product quality is an important factor. Whilst good product quality leads to customer satisfaction and loyalty, lack of quality brings costs in service and replacements. To improve product quality, the developers need information and knowledge about what quality issues affect existing products. Most companies gather data from market about known issues, but in order eliminate known quality issues in new products; this data has to be transformed into information and knowledge.

We have investigated the differences in knowledge and use of the products between different livestock associations, size of herd and farmers' breeding interests. The method used was by sending out a questionnaire by mail.

A small garden exposed to a harsh coastal climate can be difficult to design. Limitations in space and in plant varieties increase the needs of an in-depth knowledge to achieve wanted goals.
In this degree project the challenge has been to create a functional and position adapted garden for a very small beach house lot in Mölle, a little harbour village at the south coast of Kullaberg. ?Villa Malm?, is situated directly on the bedrock in a close settlement where the gardens, in most cases are very small and exposed to strong salty winds.

The ever-growing problem of antibiotic resistance provides surgical departments a big challenge when it comes to preventing the spread of infection. Operating theatre nurses have a vital role in the prevention of infection. In addition, correct ventilation in the operating theatre is of great importance. The caregiver is responsible for quality assurance of ventilation in the operating theatre, but the work can be delegated to other staff within the department.

Syfte: Förklara begreppen empowerment och medarbetarskap samt visa hur de kan tesig i praktiken inom kulturnäringarna.Metoder: Kvalitativ metod med material från litteraturstudier och ostruktureradesamtal med medarbetare på olika positioner och nivåer i åtta gävleorganisationer inomkulturnäringarna.Resultat & Slutsats:Observationerna gjorda på plats stämmer relativt bra med befintliga tankar om välfungerande organisationer i litteraturen. Organisationer inom kulturnäringarna överlever alla på något vis genom sina medarbetares kreativitet. För att utnyttja det på bästa sätt bör organisationen......vara organisk, det vill säga kunna anpassas efter de personligheter ochkompetenser som finns i den. Detta sätter å andra sidan höga krav pårekrytering och social kompetens....ha någon form av plattform (i uppsatsen också kallat idékatalysator) där medarbetare från organisationens delar kan mötas, utbyta information och komma med synpunkter på varandras idéer. Detta kräver dock att man har ?högt i tak? samtidigt som man respekterar varandras expertområden....göra medarbetare delaktiga ? då ökar deras engagemang och viljan att vårda det de själva är med och bygger upp.

In today's society dogs have become more popular as pets. This increase may result in more dog owners with lack of knowledge on how to care for them. A major social issue is the societies viewpoint to fighting breeds and similar breeds with an aggressive behavior. We experience that there is an increasing problem with aggressive dogs and their owners in Sweden that needs to be taken seriously.The aim of our study is to find out if people in Sweden think there is a problem with aggressive dogs. The study has been carried out as a literature study and a survey.
Konkurrens och strategi i Knowledge Management-industrin : En analys av ett litet IT-företags inträde i en ny industri
I denna uppsats studeras konkurrenssituationen i en industri med utgångspunkt i Michael Porters teorier om strategiformulering och industrianalys. Detta för att bevara frågan i ett examensarbete från IT-företaget Comintelli om hur konkurrenssituationen ser ut i Knowledge Management mjukvaruindustrin och hur företaget bör utforma sin strategi för att verka i den. För att besvara frågan definieras i uppsatsen 6 funktionaliteter som centrala för en Knowledge Management mjukvara, vilket leder till en population om 11st aktörer som undersöks närmare. Resultatet är att Comintellis viktigaste konkurrenter utgörs av stora IT-företag, med IBM och OpenText som mest framträdande namn. Industrin präglas av begreppsförvirrning, en måttlig till hög grad av konkurrens och barriärerna mot inträde i industrin är generellt sett låga.
Vegetarisk kost - om sjuksköterskors kunskaper. En empirisk studie.
The purpose of our study was to establish whether the knowledge about vegetarian diet was enough among nurses in order to practise professional nursing. We made an empirical study based on a questionnaire. Twenty-one registered nurses answered the questionnaire that consisted of mostly open questions. The result showed that almost everyone experienced that they gave dietcounselling and many nurses mentioned that dietcounselling was important. The majority of the nurses thought that they had enough knowledge to be able in order to deliver a fundamental dietcounselling but nobody considered that they knew much about vegetarian diet..
