Hem- och konsumentkunskap är ett läroämne som går långt tillbaka i tiden med en start redan på slutet av 1800-talet. Då var utbildningen endast till för flickor. Genom tiden har ämnet genomgått olika faser till förändring och den senaste utvecklingen ämnet genomgick var år 2000 då ämnet fick ett nytt namn och en ny kursplan. Från att har haft benämningen hemkunskap heter det numera hem- och konsumentkunskap. Vid ombenämningen infördes nya kunskapsområden såsom konsumentekonomi, resurshushållning samt hälsa. Syftet med det här examensarbetet var att lyfta fram de tankar och förväntningar som vårdnadshavare/förälder och de unga vuxna har haft på ämnet hem- och konsumentkunskap efter avslutad grundskoleutbildning.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka vilka preferenser de födda mellan 1946 och 1965 ha när de köper produkter från apoteket. Detta relaterades till kundernas lojalitet gentemot ett visst apotek. Den nya avreglerade apoteksmarknaden gör dessa frågor än mer aktuella än tidigare. Som teoretisk utgångspunkt har en behovsidentifikationstrappa, utarbetad av Dahlén och Lange använts. Denna trappa delar in kundens köpprocess i fem olika faser som sträcker sig från behovsidentifikation till utvärdering av köpet.

I utvecklingsarbetet för att minska energiförbrukningen och variationerna i råjärnskvalitet genom effektivare PCI (pulverized coal injection) har försök gjorts. Detta för att bidra med information om vilka förändringar som krävs för att minska stoftgenerering till följd av materialsönderfall och dålig förbränning i masugn. Stoft och slamprover uttagna under en försökskampanj från LKAB:s experimentmasugn (EBF) har analyserats för att jämföra vilka faser och kemisk sammansättning proverna innehåller. Under kampanjen har två olika kol (lågflyktigt kol A och högflyktigt kol B) injicerats med olika mängd och sätt att tillföra syret till masugnen. I slammet vid injektion med kol A och syreberikning genom lansen kunde kolet hittas i förening med kisel i SiC (kiselkarbid).

Denna C ? uppsats i sociologi syftar till att undersöka varifrån förstagångsväljare får sin påverkan till ett ställningstagande inför riksdagsvalet år 2006. Studien belyser även förstagångsväljarnas syn på vikten av att rösta. Våra frågeställningar är således; Varifrån kommer påverkan till störst del ifrån för förstagångsväljare till riksdagsvalet år 2006? Anser förstagångsväljaren att det är viktigt att rösta? Begrepp som socialisation och könssocialisation visar att påverkan hemifrån är av stor betydelse för förstagångsväljaren.
