Since 1979 when homosexuality no longer was classified as an illness the Swedish authorities have been working on increasing the LGBTQ community?s rights and living conditions. How is this work reflected within the Cultural heritage sector, especially since the adoption of Agenda 2030. The purpose and goal of this study is to examine whether the cultural heritage sector actively works to include the LGBTQ perspective in their preservation work by using a quantitative method. Through a document analysis and a survey, it examines this on a national, regional and local level within ?sterg?tland county and its 13 municipalities. The study shows that at a national level there are no specific strategies for working inclusively with an LGBTQ perspective in cultural heritage, however, there is almost always a general level where concepts such as equality, gender equality, inclusion and intersectionality are mentioned.

This essay is about the mobilization that have arisen due to the mining activities being planned in Norra Kärr, just outside of Gränna in the northern part of the county of Jönköping, Sweden. This study is based on the association Aktion Rädda Vättern and members of the associatons? individual thoughts and experiences of their possibility to success. Interviews were carried out with members of the association. The theoretical basis lies within the theory of political opportunity structure and the defintion of the same by Sidney Tarrow.

How schools handles threat and violence among pupils could have an effect on the surrounding world, since schools reflect society at large. This study attempts to explore how this is handled within two schools, one secondary school and one upper secondary school. How do the schools work with violence and threats amongst pupils? Who is responsible for what? Is this work based on school guidelines? Why/why not? The theoretical starting-points have been Lundquists implementation-based control-model and an organizational point-of-view using theories about open and closed systems, primarily Meyer and Rowans neo-institutionalism. The purpose of this study was to increase the level of knowledge in the field of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for wind power. The study includes six wind power farms in the County of Västerbotten in northern Sweden. The main questions were: What are the real dimensions of roadways and land claims for both roads and wind power turbines? How do those dimensions correlate with the dimensions stated in the EIA? Are there any differences in values of the dimensions between the wind power farms that are included in this study? The width of the roadways and the land claims for both roads and wind turbines in wind power farms were examined on site. The results from the examinations were compared with the dimensions available in the EIA for each wind power farm.

Over the past thirty years the political parties in Sweden have lost five out of six members. In order to retain existing members leadership in these organizations has become increasingly important. The aim of this paper is to identify what group leaders for party groups within the municipal council believe are the driving forces that underlie the councillors' voluntary commitment, identify the group leaders' leadership style and identify whether there exist a relationship between these driving forces and the leadership style. The approach applied is qualitative consisting of twelve interviews with twelve group leaders from six different municipalities in Stockholm county. The theoretical framework of this paper includes the Volunteer Functions Inventory and the Full Range Leadership Theory.

Kungsgärdets sjukhus got its name the fouth of january 1965 and is still in use today. In 1981 the hospital and became merged into Uppsala Västra sjukvårdsdistrikt and stopped being a independet fonds.Predecessor to Kungsgärdets sjukhus was Centralepidemisjukhuset, more specific its Longterm care after the Infektionskliniken had moved to Akademiska sjukhuset the first of september 1965. In the Kungsgärdets sjukhus material of archive several diffrent fonds are included: Tunåsens sjukhus, Wattholma sjukhem, Östra paviljongen and Landstingets verkstäder. Geriatriska klinik is also included in Kungsgärdets sjukhus, however it is not a fonds but a ward. However all this makes it very difficult to establish the provenance of Kungsgärdets sjukhus, because it is impossible to know how all these fonds and its material of archive affects Kungsgärdets sjukhus as a fonds specially since the other fonds have not been organized and catalogued, and There for it is difficult to know were the provenance and the truth of Kungsgärdets sjukhus is.Kungsgärdets sjukhus arrived at Landstingsarkivet in Uppsala län together with several other fonds at different times.

This paper examines the power producing dams along the Ume-river as an integral part of and a result from the urbanization process in Sweden during industrial capitalism. The aim of the paper is to contribute to the knowledge of the urbanization process in Sweden in general and of its traces along the Ume river in the county of Västerbotten in particular. The paper applies the theory of concentrated urbanization and extended urbanization put forward by Neil Brenner and Christian Schmid (2015) and argues that the building of power producing dams along the Ume-river is part of an extended urbanization process. This becomes particularly evident when examining the vast physical structures that is the dams, situated in an otherwise remote and sparsely populated area. These vast physical structures are also very well connected to a nation wide electric grid that has connections to bordering countries as well.

The objective of this paper is to estimate monetary and non-monetary costs for the huntercaused by deer-vehicle collisions in Sweden. These costs include losses in hunting value as wellas time and money efforts related to the handling of wildlife casualties. The calculations arebased on available statistics from 2004 on deer-vehicle collisions involving moose, deer, roedeerand wild boar and on telephone interviews with hunters involved in the tracking of injuredanimals. Altogether, the annual loss in hunting value for moose was assessed to approximately30 million SEK based on the 2004 accident statistics. For roe-deer and fallow deer, thecorresponding figure was approximately 56 million SEK and 1.2 million SEK, while wild boaraccounted for 1.3 million SEK, respectively.

The aims of this project were to describe the circumstances around dogs being left alone in cars, to investigate owners? knowledge of the risks associated with leaving dogs in cars and the relevant legislation and, finally, to study how changes in the air temperature and air composition in the car affect the dog. The project consisted of a survey of the literature, a questionnaire part and an experimental part. An important conclusion is the importance of the level of knowledge of owners, since there are several ways in which an owner can prevent their dog from heat stroke and, in the case of an eventual accident, their action can have direct consequences in minimizing the long-term damage to the dog and even whether or not it survives. Fewer than half of the owners in the study knew that for a dog suffering heat stroke, the most important thing is to bring the body temperature down. Only a third of dog owners knew that if a dog is left in a warm car and showing signs of heat stress, then the police should be contacted and the dog quickly helped out of the car.

The requirement on audit was introduced when ownership was separated from management. The situation that arouse was that not only the owners, but also the stakeholders, required information about the company?s financial position. On this basis the audit would contribute to quality assurance of the financial information. One of the auditor's functions is to assess an ongoing stakeholder opinion.

Könsskillnader i vården var ett sedan tidigare välkänt fenomen, exempelvis sökte kvinnor vård, sjukskrevs och rökte mer än vad männen gjorde i tidigare publicerade rapporter. Hur jämställdheten såg ut på Kommunhälsan i Kalmar kommun i det dagliga patientarbetet var den frågeställning som skulle besvaras med detta projekt. Hypotesen var att det fanns könsskillnader i omhändertagandet på Kommunhälsan men omfattningen var okänd. Projektet skulle klargöra om det fanns områden som krävde mer noggrann genomgång och eventuella åtgärder.Kommunhälsan hade år 2008 5 825 individer ansluta där kommunens förvaltningar bidrog med 4 799 individer och de externa bolagen med 1 026 individer. Könsfördelningen på kommunens förvaltningar var 79 % kvinnor och 21 % män samt på de externa bolagen var 52 % kvinnor och 48 % män.För det första undersöktes kontaktmönstret med Kommunhälsan genom att telefonkontakterna med företagssjuksköterskorna registrerades.

Studien undersöker hur den kvinnliga politiska representationen ser ut i Kalmars kommunalpolitik. Huvudfrågan riktas mot hur kvinnor delas mellan traditionella kvinnliga och manliga politiska intressen och om det finns någon skillnad i hur kvinnor från olika partier ser på eventuella hinder inom kommunalpolitiken. Den kvantitativa delen av studien visar att en övervägande stor del av kvinnorna hittas i ?mjuka? områden av vårdande karaktär där männen ändå dominerar vilket de även gör i kommunalpolitiken som helhet. Den kvalitativa delen bygger på samtalsintervjuer med kvinnliga politiker i Kalmars kommunalpolitik.

AbstractThe dependency of fossil fuels in the transport sector causes large emissions of carbondioxide. This problem can we reduce by using vehicle gas from digested solid manure and leftover of pasture. I have studied the potential for this in the county of Västernorrland. Thepurpose is to investigate how much vehicle gas that can be extracted.One central, large scale digestion and upgrade plant should be placed in Härnösand. Theamount of pasture and manure that is economical and practical available is enough to produce2,7-3,5 millions Nm3 vehicle gas.

Vården i Sverige har sedan länge kännetecknas av långa vårdköer och bristande resurser. Allt fler sjukhus och vårdcentraler däribland Brahehälsan, Hälsocentralen Akka, Akutmottagningen på Länssjukhuset i Kalmar samt Diagnostiskt centrum på Länssjukhuset i Kalmar väljer att möta dessa problem med hjälp av ?Lean Healthcare?. Denna nya modell och den filosofi den bygger på bidrar till ett nytt arbetssätt som är tänkt att medföra effektivisering av sjukvården. Är effektivisering av sjukvården det verkliga motivet eller finns det bakomliggande motiv för att införa ?Lean Healthcare?? Vid allt förändringsarbete är det viktigt att ha med sig medarbetarna.
