För mig har intresset för tidsgeografi vuxit eftersom komplexiteten i ämnet är stort, men även att tidsgeografi är något varje individ upplever i sin vardag. Varje individ kommer antagligen att ställa sig inför valet att arbetspendla någon gång i livet.Syftet med undersökning är att få fördjupad kunskap om människans val att arbetspendla, med inriktning mot hur bildandet av Linnéuniversitetet har påverkat arbetspendlingen mellan Växjö och Kalmar. Undersökningens syftar också till att få en fördjupad kunskap om hur sammanslagningen har påverkat Växjös region. För att besvara frågeställningarna användes intervjuer där fyra av Linnéuniversitetets personal blev intervjuade om deras upplevelse av hur sammanslagningen har påverkat deras arbetspendling och vilka restriktioner som de upplevt under resans tid.Den första januari 2010 blev startskottet för Kalmar högskola och Växjö universitet att bli Linnéuniversitetet. Detta öppnade upp för flera institutioner att samarbeta med varandra, för att en högre kunskapsnivå skulle uppnås.

 Innovationer kan beskrivas på många olika sätt. Inom vetenskapen är det ett begrepp som är väl diskuterat, men någon exakt och direkt definition finns inte. Däremot är de flesta vetenskapsmän och även turismaktörerna i Kalmarregionen överrens om att det handlar om någonting nytt. Det kan även vara att förnya en redan befintlig produkt eller att skapa något nytt som ger ett nyhetsvärde för kunden. Det finns olika kategorier av innovationer, det är produktinnovationer, processinnovationer, managementinnovationer, logistiska innovationer samt institutionella innovationer.

Equal opportunity issues are considered to have a clear position in Swedish policy and the making of Swedish gender policy is considered a precursor. Though many experts and scientists have shed light on the fact that the issue of women assault has had a less stable development than other gender issues such as child care, the labour market etc. within the Swedish society, and that it does not attract the wide political support it needs. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the Municipalities', in the county of Kronoberg, policy on the issue of women assault within their local policies of equality. In my thesis I have chosen a theoretical framework that is built on a dilemma of justice based on three different dimensions; the extent, content and influence of the local policies.

As the ability to computerize processes and tasks increase, the proliferation of complex systems in our society continues. How these systems are deployed in the organizations where they are meant to be utilized has been shown to have a large impact on how well they function.In January of 2011 the Enköping hospital initiated the deployment of an IT-support for drug management, a module in the general health care system Cambio COSMIC. Other health care providers in the county, and in the rest of Sweden, have had mixed feelings toward the module. Some have outright refused the module, claiming that it is detrimental to patient safety. One of the arguments for deploying the module in Enköping, however, was that it was needed to improve patient safety.The Enköping hospital is considered to be a well organized institution with good leadership and earlier good experiences regarding IT-systems.

This report is written in cooperation with Eskilstuna municipality public administration for urban planning. The reports purpose is to look into how other public authorities carry out public purchase of consultants and entrepreneurs in the urban planning area. The goal is to come up with suggestions of how Eskilstuna municipality public administration for urban planning can improve its purchasing process in this field in order to minimize the risk where a consultant or entrepreneur files an appeal against the decision of awarding a contract to another rival. The appeal can be filed to the county administrative court.The public administration for urban planning can do its purchases through the model of "lowest price" or "economically most favorable" for them. When using "economically most favorable", the department can value a number of soft parameters by giving them points and the offer which gets most points can be rewarded the right to sign a contract.

Hemsjukvårdscentralen began its work from Tunåsens Hospital in Uppsala in 1962, with the purpose to give conomic support to people who nursed their chronic sick relatives in home. Hemsjukvårdscentralen ended its work in 1987, and delivered its archive to the County council of Uppsala in 1988. About half of the archive consisted of medical records of the patients who had received economical support, and many of the archival records was considered as ?work papers?, non-archival records that could be discarded. Two obvious problems emerge from the organizing of the records.

The aim of this study is to investigate how länsstyrelsen as a supervisory authority to private compulsory care-institutions works, to guarantee adequate institutional care of unprivileged children and youth with special problems.In order to reach this aim the following questions are to be answered:? Describe länsstyrelsen´s supervision of private compulsory care-institutions (HVB-hem)? How does the officials at the three chosen county administrative boards find about the responsibilityTo answer the questions of this bachelor thesis I have chosen to apply qualitative methods, by interviewing five supervisory authorities from länsstyrelsen, in three different county administrative boards in Sweden.The findings of the study show that officials sometimes find it hard to know the exact meaning and differences between accountability and to be accountable. It also shows that they tend to think that the relationship between länsstyrelsen and the private compulsory care institutions is complicated. Various Fusarium species causes some of the most common cereal diseases worldwide. Besides the yield losses that can be a result of these diseases, strains from several Fusarium species can produce mycotoxins, some very toxic. The aim of this study was to investigate which Fusarium species and how many that occurred in winter wheat grains from Mälardalen and Kalmar län, if there was any difference in the distribution of Fusarium fungi between the regions and the potential within species to produce mycotoxins belonging to the group trichothecenes. Winter wheat grains collected in 2009 from ten fields (unsprayed plots) in the two regions were analysed for Fusarium species. PCR was used to amplify the TEF region where after the samples were sequenced.

Through an internship at a nonprofit organization called ATSUB[1], specialized at giving support to non-offending parents to sexually abused children, one of the authors to this study found that there was a lack of care for the parents by governmental operations. While studying the previous research we found a great deficiency when it came to non-offending parents and far most about non-offending fathers. We found studies proving that the child?s non-offending parents are the best support for the child during their healing process. Research also shows that parents must be able to get good support and treatment during their crisis for the parents to be able to support the child, since they?re also in great despair over their child being sexually abused.

This study has taken place in two nature reserves in the municipality of Uppvidinge in the Kronoberg region in southern Sweden. These have been chosen by the County Administrative Board to be part of a bigger landscape of fire affected nature, and prescribed fire has been implemented in these. The areas are called Ösjöbol and Berga fly and have been burned 2012 and 2013 respectively. Non-burned areas have been inventoried as well. Vascular plants and mineral soil have been inventoried with the Hult-Sernander-Du Rietz scale of five levels. Issues emanate from the County Administrative Board?s goals for prescribed fire: how sticks and herbs were affected, how much soil was uncovered, how the structure and fire favoured species were affected, and how deciduous trees and spruces (Picea abies) were affected. The study shows that the soil increased, as well as the fire favoured species.

The purpose of this quantitative study has been to investigate teenager?s perception of obsessions and compulsive acts. Teenager?s perceptions and experiences as well as connections between the taboos surrounding the topic and the perception have been examined. The study has taken in to consider gender perspective, in regards to certain topics.

In this thesis, I have discussed which (herbacious) perennials that are sold most in the county of Norrbotten in the upper north of Sweden. Also discussed are the factors considering overwintering and factors that affect the chances of survival. The reason to the subject is that I m born and raised in Norrbotten and throughout the years I ve wondered why so many of the perennial flowerbeds look so similar. The purpose of the thesis is to give another approach to the composition of the garden by explaining some of the factors that controls the survival of plants. The information is gathered partly through interviews with plantshop personnel and partly by a literature study. The results of the interviews reveal that tradition and hardiness is the major reasons to the consumer s choice.

 Studiens syfte var att med en huvudsakligen kvantitativ ansats 1) undersöka hur receptarier i Kalmar län upplever sin arbetssituation vid expedition av läkemedel till djur, genom att undersöka hur den personliga kompetensen, ansvarskänslan och de befintliga informationskällorna upplevs, samt 2) undersöka synen på ett eventuellt införande av tillsyn av farmaceuter och möjligheten till utdömande av disciplinära påföljder då farmaceutens yrkesutövning vid expedition av läkemedel till djur inte skett på ett föreskrivet sätt. Idag bär ingen myndighet ansvaret för dessa två företeelser.En skriftlig enkät postades till 94 receptarier i Kalmar län. Av de tillfrågade receptarierna valde 55 % att delta. Enkätformuläret bestod totalt av 24 frågor av övervägande kvantitativ karaktär vars svarsalternativ utgjordes av kvalitativa variabler. Av enkätformulärets 24 frågor hade två stycken öppen karaktär.Majoriteten av deltagarna tycktes uppleva sin arbetssituation vid expedition av läkemedel till djur som förhållandevis god och endast ett fåtal deltagare förmedlade en negativ ton i svaren.

The aim of this thesis was to investigate the accessibility and activities for dyslectic adults in public libraries in the Swedish county of Södermanland. The questions that were to be answered were four; to what extent do the libraries provide book material and special computer software? To what extent do activities occur? Does the library staff have awareness and knowledge of dyslexia and of activities for dyslectics? What are the obstacles for good service for dyslectic library users? Two methods were used. As a first step, a questionnaire was sent to thirty public libraries. The questionnaire elicited a low level of response, but gave in spite of this an overview of the situation for dyslectics in the libraries of the county.
