Bakgrund: Tidigare forskning har visat att insynspersoner tenderar att överavkasta påinvesteringar i eget bolag. Det råder dock delade meningar kring varför insynspersonertenderar att överavkasta. Vid genomgång av tidigare studier påträffades ingen kvalitativstudie, varav vi ansåg det vara av intresse att studera fenomenet genom intervjuer medinsynspersoner.Syfte: Uppsatsen syftar till att studera och kartlägga motiven bakom insynspersonersköp- och säljtransaktioner i eget bolag. Med hjälp av tidigare forskning samt en ny infallsvinkeli form av teorier inom behavioural finance analyseras varför insynspersonertenderar att uppnå överavkastning på investeringar i eget bolag.Genomförande: Studien har genomförts med utgångspunkt i åtta intervjuer med insynspersoner.Resultat från tidigare studier på området låg till grund för vilken informationvi med intervjuerna ville uppnå djupare förståelse kring. Den insamlade empirinhar analyserats utifrån empirisk forskning och teorier inom behavioural finance.Slutsats: I studien presenteras en ny hypotes vilken förklarar insynspersoners överavkastningsom en följd av befintlig lagstiftning.

This essay is a case study on the Latin American regional integration project called ALBA.

Background: Operating on the stock market is associated with risks. If a particular asset is not traded with the same frequency as the average market asset, this particular asset is exposed to a liquidity risk. It means that the investor might not be able to sell the asset at a desired time without incurring expensive transaction costs. The query is whether or not the investor is compensated with a liquidity premium for bearing the extra risk. Earlier studies on the Stockholm Stock Exchange have failed to prove that there is a relation between stock return and liquidity.

Mankind faces a serious threat. Its activities, for example the burning of fossil fuels, have led to an enhancement of the greenhouse effect - something that has given rise to a global warming. The climate is becoming warmer, a change that has important effects on the nature as well as for humans and their society. Sea level rising, extreme temperatures are becoming more common, glaciers and other ice caps melt and storms becomes more intense when they appear. The main cause is the emission of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere - carbon dioxide in particular.

Syfte: Undersökningens syftet är att mäta huruvida det går att få ut en överavkastning av aktier som väljs in i (respektive ut ur) OMX Stockholm Benchmark (OMXSB), som följd av att ett index ändrar sin komposition. Delsyftet är att undersöka om det går att se en signifikant ökning av handelsvolymen i anslutning till ändringsdagen.Metod: Studien tillämpar en eventstudie som undersökningsmetod av kvantitativ karaktär. Studien undersöker indexet OMXSB och innefattade totalt 111 stycken ingående och utgående aktier fördelat på 10 tillfällen. Två eventfönster har konstruerats; ett kring annonseringsdagen och ett kring ändringsdagen. Den procentuella handelsvolymen har mätts över eventfönstret kring ändringsdagen.Resultat: Den genomsnittliga kumulerade överavkastningen för eventfönstret vid annonseringsdagen uppgick till 1,02 % (-6 %) för de aktier som valdes in (ut).

Denna studie kartlägger om det är möjligt att med hjälp av svenska insynspersoners värde-pappershandel prognostisera den svenska aktiemarknaden. Individuella insynspersoner har tidigare visats ha mer information kring enskilda företag än övriga aktörer på en aktiemarknad och har vistats skapa överavkastning gentemot marknaden. Aggregerad insynshandel har tidi-gare visat sig ha ett positivt samband med framtida avkastning på aktiemarknader.För att undersöka sambandet mellan svensk insynshandel och den svenska aktiemarknaden använder vi finansinspektionens insynslista som innefattar över 209 000 transaktioner av svensk insynshandel för perioden 1991-2013. Detta material undersöks tillsammans med hi-storiska indexvärden över tidsperioden och sambandet kartläggs med hjälp av OLS-regressioner. Vi undersöker även vad som driver sambandet mellan insynshandel och framtida avkastning, och vilket ekonomiskt värde det finns i insynshandel som prognosinstrument.Resultaten visar på att det finns ett statistiskt signifikant positivt samband mellan insynshan-del och framtida avkastning på den svenska aktiemarknaden.

Humans have inhabited mountainous areas in northern Sweden since the end of the last glacial period, ca 8000 B.P., and their presence has marked the landscape in various ways. Older traces include the remains of hearths and dwelling sites, but there are also remains, such as culturally modified trees (CMT's), resulting from more recent activities in forested areas. This study aimed to document how people, both indigenous Sami's and Swedish settlers, have used an area northwest of Ammarnäs in Västerbotten, during the last 300 years, and what traces their activities have left in the area. I used historical records as well as an inventory of CMT's in the area to address this aim. Historical records of Sami activity are meagre, but it is clear that the people of the Ran and Gran Sami villages utilized the area long before 1500 A.D.

The purpose of this paper is to survey the textile based proto-industrialism in Sweden in the middle of the 19th century. This case study is founded upon Anders Hansson?s pre-industrial textile production at the estate of Mölneby, Östra Frölunda in the rural district of Kind in the province of Västra Götaland.Account books from the year 1853 related to Anders Hansson?s wool fabric manufacturing have been looked into and categorized using a quantitative research method. The research has also been supplemented with a number of interviews.The result of the survey shows that Anders Hansson?s business activities fit into Mendel?s theory of proto-industrialists at a practice level.By collaborating with a merchant in Gothenburg the fabrics were traded in unknown markets, as well as in more familiar neighbouring districts.

The main purpose of this essay is to investigate if Latvia´s pattern of trade has become more similar to the mature market economies, after Latvia´s independence 1991.Today, the intra-industry trade (IIT) dominates the trade of mature market economies. One of the pioneers of intra-industrial trade is Paul Krugman, who was the first to emphasize the importance "of scale and consumers' desire for variety" in explaining the basis for modern commerce. Customers get more variety and usually cheaper goods when the market gets bigger. I mainly use the modern trade theories to explain the trade pattern in Latvia. To measure how Latvia has developed its intra-industry trade, and thereby is approaching the mature market economies´ trade pattern, I use the Grubel-Lloyd index (GL-index).

Den 1 januari 2005, startades det europeiska handelssystemet med utsläppsrätter. Handelssystemet avser att minskakoldioxidutsläppen inom Europa, för att fullfölja åtagandet i Kyotoprotokollet. I Sverige har flera sektorer påverkatsav handeln med utsläppsrätter bl.a. energisektorn, som står i fokus för denna studie.Syftet med uppsatsen är att studera hur de större och mindre energibolagen samt de ansvariga myndigheterna iSverige uppfattar systemet för handel med utsläppsrätter. För att uppfylla syftet formulerades ett antalfrågeställningar om hur energibolagen och myndigheterna ser på handelssystemets följande områden, fördelar ochnackdelar, implementering, tilldelningsprinciper, förbättringspotential, framtida utveckling, samt om det finns någralikheter och skillnader mellan energibolagen.
