This report analyzes and examines a hypothesis for finding a method to optimize thelength of the delubrication process time based on a total charge weight. The work hasfocused on the holding time for delubrication and the total charge weight.An important step in the manufacturing chain of cutting tools is when the greenbodies undergo the sintering process. Today, the delubrication step has the sameprocess time independent of the total charge weight. An implementation of a methodto adjust the delubrication process time would give more consistent quality of thecutting tool´s internal characteristics but also reduce the time course of the sinteringprocess. In the present project two methods for this goal were tested, thedevelopment of an algorithm and a weight interval subdivision with associateddelubrication process times.During delubrication a pressure increase is observed due to the decomposition of thePEG in the powder mixture.

Bakgrund: Promotion av hälsa och prevention av ohälsa är en av många viktiga uppgifter för hälso- och sjukvården. Sekundärprevention efter akut kranskärlssjukdom innebär åtgärder för att både på kort och lång sikt minska död, återinsjuknade och fortsatt sjukdomsprocess. Förändringar i levnadsvanor påverkar oftast flera riskfaktorer samtidigt. För personer med känd livsstilsrelaterad sjukdom betonar Socialstyrelsen i ?Nationella riktlinjer för sjukdomsförebyggande metoder? att sjukvården ska erbjuda rådgivande samtal kring ohälsosamma levnadsvanor och att det är en betydelsefull uppgift för hela vårdkedjan.

This essay is an introduction to the intentions and purposes of the british play writer Sarah Kane (1971-1999). Her own voice is presented both via quotations linked to her work and by an explanation of her connections to the surrealist poet and actor Antonin Artaud. The main focus is on Kane?s second play, Phaedra?s Love, first performed in 1996. The play is analyzed in co-relation to La volonté de savoir, the first volume in Michel Foucault?s trilogy Histoire de la sexualité.

Vårt arbete behandlar möjligheterna och hindren för att använda additiva tillverkningsmetoder (AM) med metall som bas för direkttillverkning vid batchproduktion. AM tillåter användaren att tillverka delar med komplicerade geometrier som är svåra, eller i vissa fall omöjliga, att tillverka för dagens konventionella tillverkningstekniker. Dessutom tillåter teknologin tillverkaren att skapa inre strukturer i ett material som exempelvis gitter- och bikakestrukturer. Metoderna för AM med metall skiljer sig bitvis ganska mycket åt, men grundprincipen är att man bygger upp en modell lager för lager utifrån en given digital fil, oftast CAD. Vårt arbete har därför behandlat området utifrån ett i första hand tekniskt men även kunskapsmässigt och ekonomiskt perspektiv då dessa har behövts analyseras i kombination med varandra för att på ett tillfredställande sätt kunna analysera området.

Introduction and research question:  This study investigates the widely discussed notion ?Corporate Social Responsibility? and its practice in the tourism industry. In the contemporary society more companies are realizing the significance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its potential as a means of differentiation.  The author?s interest in this particular phenomenon was awakened after reading about the business case of Scandic Hotels. This is a company that nowadays is referred to as ?Scandinavia?s leading hotel chain?.

Iron deficiency is one of the most frequent micronutrient deficiencies around the world. Low iron bioavailability simultaneously with a high iron requirement is a high risk factor for developing iron deficiency. Probiotics are microorganisms that confer a health benefit on the host. Prebiotics are oligosaccharides which provide a health benefit on the host due to a positive modulation of the microflora in the gut. The aim of this paper is to evaluate if there is a connection between pro-and/or prebiotics and iron bioavailability.

Globaliseringen har lett till att företag i allt större utsträckning sourcar sin produktion till aktörer i utvecklingsländer där arbetsförhållanden enligt västerländsk standard är oacceptabla. Skandaler inom mänskliga rättigheter och miljöutsläpp är skadliga för företagens rykte. Detta är något de aktivt måste jobba med för att motverka och i detta avseende är kinesiska textilfabriker en stor riskgrupp. Syftet med rapporten är att utreda hur företag kan arbeta för att skydda sig mot ordrägliga arbetsförhållandne i sina fabriker samt hur de kan förbättra arbetsförhållanden i dessa.

In this report two Sustainability Life Cycle Assessments are carried out for two types of tiles for Riksbyggen, to contribute to a sustainable urban transition. Sustainability Life Cycle Assessment involves performing a life cycle assessment based on four principles based on scientific research and presented by the non- governmental, non-profit organization, The Natural Step. The principles concern raw materials, chemically produced substances, degeneration of nature and social conditions.Origin of products, manufacturing sites and manufacturing procedures were initially completely unknown and much of the work has consisted of finding the entire cycles, understand manufacturing processes of ceramic tiles and evaluating what materials and what type of energy sources that are required for the production. A socially sustainable perspective has been of high relevance alongside an ecologically sustainable perspective.The report begins with the basic underlying facts and the purposes of this investigation and that the reasons why Sustainability Life Cycle Assessments are carried out are to provide Riksbyggen and the own workers with documents presenting Riksbyggens ideas regarding sustainability and to hopefully get the ideas further down in the supply chain. The methods used to fulfill the investigation are presented and scientific facts about LCA and ceramic building materials are reviewed.

När inköp går från att vara en administrativ funktion till att få en alltmer strategisk roll så ökar betydelsen av att värdera hur denna funktion bidrar till företagets resultat och konkurrensförmåga. Eftersom andelen inköpta varor och tjänster ofta utgör en betydande andel av företagets kostnader så kan inköpsfunktionen få en avgörande strategisk roll. Vår studie tar avstamp i denna debatten och avser att studera och analysera fyra bolags inköpsprocesser för att se hur dessa är unika och skapar konkurrensfördelar.Syfte:Syftet med studien är att beskriva och analysera olika möjligheter att skapa konkurrensfördelar genom inköpsstrategiska val.Metod:För att besvara vårt syfte valde vi att intervjua och studera fyra företag i olika branscher för att få en bred bild av inköpsprocessen och hur den integreras i företagets värdekedja. Uppsatsens angreppssätt kan betraktas som abduktivt då vi har pendlat mellan teori och empiri för att nå till vår slutsats.Teori:Vi har studerat ett antal olika böcker och artiklar som behandlar inköpsprocessen, vilka metoder det finns för att värdera och mäta denna samt inköpsfunktionen ur ett strategiskt perspektiv.

General concerns about environmental issues may mean that the demand for bio-based products will increase. Opportunities that arise on markets, together with the declining demand for newsprint, may trigger firms in the Swedish forest industry to increase their development of new products. One product that has received a lot of attention during recent years (and is a contender) is nanocellulose. The purpose of this master thesis was to examine the Swedish forest industry?s view on the market potential of nanocellulose.

The main drivers of luxury consumption is to obtain prestige and status, therefore the possibility of visible consumption of products is a key dimension of the product. Typical examples of luxury goods include cars, handbags and watches. These are consumed in the public arena where the possibility to show off the product and the brand is the greatest. When examining luxury products and what drives men and women to pay premium prices for a brand and for a logo, a fascinating finding is that there are products that fundamentally lacks these attributes, but which are considered to be classic luxury products. An example of this is perfume.

During the 1970?s the interest for quality management and the concept of quality costs increased considerably. Business leaders noticed that there was a great potential for reducing costs of poor quality. Since up to 10-30% of a company?s total turnover may consist of poor quality costs some consider them as an unexploited goldmine.

These factors areshort-chain carbohydrates, Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides, andPolyols (FODMAPS), which are not completely absorbed in the lumen.Objective: The purpose of this systematic review article is to examine whether there are anyevidence that a diet low in FODMAPs may induce improvement of symptoms in patientsdiagnosed with IBS.Search strategy: The literature search was performed in the databases PubMed, Scopus,Summon and Google Scholar.
