I en stor del av arbetsolyckor som anmäls är en truck inblandad. För att undvika att fotgängare blir påkörda av industrifordon används ofta påkörningsskydd. På Volvo Group Truck Operations i Skövde används idag påkörningsskydd i fabrikerna för att avgränsa fotgängare från fordonstrafiken. Volvos påkörningsskydd är en helsvetsad stålkonstruktion som är fäst i betonggolvet med expanderbultar. Dessa påkörningsskydd är byggda efter platsen de monteras på och är därför svåra att återanvända och reparera.

Background: Myocardial infarction is the most common individual disease among people in the west world. In Sweden there are over 50 000 women and men who get myocardial infarction every year and about 40 % of them dies. Exercise training is one part of cardiac rehabilitation and since 1980 Sweden use the guidelines from that time. Aim: The aim was to review exercise-training modalities in cardiac rehabilitation after myocardial infarction and the physiologic- and psychological effects. Method: Facts were obtained by searching through the database PubMed for articles published from 1994 and ten years forward.

Introduction Every tenth patient in Sweden is affected by nosocomial infections. Among these, urinary tract infection (UTI) is the most frequently occurring within the hospital environment. Nosocomial infections lead to increasing costs for care, more suffering among the patients, increasing use of antibiotics, and longer treatment spells. The Academic hospital have engaged all wards in the so called VRISS-project (?nosocomial infections must be stopped?) in order to reduce the number of nosocomial infections.Aim In connection to the VRISS-project new routines for removal of uretrahl catheters are introduced at ward 70E2 at the Academic hospital.

This thesis aims to increase understanding and knowledge of issues affecting the redevelopment of older office buildings to housing. The rising demand for housing in recent years has resulted in a need and an increase in cost housing projects. The need has led property owners wanting to build old office buildings to apartments. The case study is carried out in Lycksele town and in close contact with consultancy TM (Technician Mercantile) ? consulting, which has operations in the area.

Sweden?s District councils and Country councils are in itself to a large extent responsible for the state financed welfare. Because of this, Sweden has a contribution- and adjustment system. The reason for this system is to create equal chance, for all District councils and Country councils, to be able to give the citizens service independently of their income and non-influential structural differences. The adjustment is built upon the so-called standard cost method, which contains four different parts.

Den ökade globaliseringen i dagens samhälle har lett till att det svenska näringslivet samarbetar allt mer med utländska partners för att ta vara på de fördelar som uppstår i och med detta fenomen.Ett av de asiatiska länder som haft ökade inköp från västvärlden är Kina. Under början av 1980-talet öppnades landet upp för handel med utlandet och många västerländska företag startade då fabriker i landet eller ingick joint venture med kinesiska företag. Än idag är Kina en stor och växande marknad som många västerländska företag vill etablera sig på för att kunna utnyttja dess låga materialkostnader och billiga arbetskraft. Det finns dock inte bara fördelar med att göra inköp från denna marknad utan också en del svårigheter som svenska företag bör vara medvetna om innan de ger sig in på den kinesiska marknaden.Syftet med denna uppsats är att ta reda på vilka generella och logistiska svårigheter som finns då medelstora svenska industriföretag gör inköp från Kina.Vi har i denna uppsats använt oss av en kvalitativ forskningsmetod då vi gjort ingående intervjuer med tre olika företag som gör inköp i Kina, dessa är: Industri AB, Aluminium AB och Metall AB. Vi har använt oss av ett deduktivt angreppssätt där vi har utgått från olika teorier som vi sedan jämfört med vår empiri för att hitta skillnader eller likheter dem emellan.I teorin har vi utgått från en modell som behandlar olika svårigheter som kan uppstå i samband med inköp från utlandet.

Det är väl känt att hygien har stor betydelse för att minimera risker för posto-perativa infektioner och i förlängningen minska lidande och öka patientsäkerheten. Risker för utvecklandet av postoperativa infektioner är flera och en ensam förklaring går oftast inte att finna. Personalmässiga faktorer är dock en del av problemet. Följsamhet till hygienrutiner bland personalen visar sig ofta bristande i känd forskning och dess förklaring är komplex. Operations-sjuksköterskors omvårdnadsarbete och ansvar syftar till skydda patienten ge-nom att förebygga postoperativa infektioner men deras handlande och erfaren-heter när det gäller följsamheten till hygienrutiner är studerat i mycket liten omfattning.

I denna studie utvärderades tre olika mätmetoder för att bedöma en eventuell ledsvullnad i armbågsleden hos 18 hundar. Metoderna som utvärderas var palpation, mätning med skänkelmått samt mätning med måttband. Syftet med studien var att bestämma inter- och intrareliabiliteten för ovan nämnda metoder. Anledningen till att detta är av intresse är att den metod som framför allt används idag för att bedöma ledsvullnad är palpation, vilken har visat sig vara en inte helt tillförlitlig metod. Inom veterinärmedicinsk rehabilitering behövs idag mer objektiva sätt att mäta ledsvullnad för att på ett bättre sätt kunna utvärdera olika behandlingsmetoder så väl som det kliniska rehabiliteringsarbetet.

This degree project is based on identifying and allocation of costs in a packaging section at Electrolux Distriparts in Torsvik.The purpose of this thesis is to identify the costs that emerge when packaging different articles and show how the costs are allocated. The report also contains improvement suggestions about how the company can use the current computer system more efficient.The methods that have been used in order to approach the problem and the collection of information have mainly been literature study, interviews and observation.The work started with answering the questions; which expenditure cost and direct cost exist in the section, how can they be allocated, if improvement can be done and how the flow of information is supposed to happen.In order to answer the questions we used our former experience and the knowledge we achieved by reading literature, interview relevant persons in the company and observations carried out in the section.Through our studies, we came up with an Excel file, which is the groundwork for a template that can be used by the company in different occasions depending on the situation and need. It is important to remember to modify the template if the presumptions change. In the template, we have identified the different kind of costs that emerge when packaging different articles and we have also allocated the costs. In addition formulas and estimations that are necessary for the cost calculation are presented.The work consisted in making the groundwork for a template.

The purpose of this paper is to test a procedure that would be useful for a certain, more final purpose. Assume that you want to know if the differences in the result of a certain effort in health care have any connection with differences between the life situations of the patients. This would be easier to investigate if the life situations of the patients had connection to the easily available variable Health Care Cost (in Swedish VK). In that case the searching for connections between VK of patient groups and the result of health care efforts would be sufficient to gain knowledge of possible connection between health care efforts and life situations. Thus that is the final purpose.

ABSTRACT. Introduction: In the Swedish government?s public health policy the municipalities are emphasized as one of the most important actors. Based on their broad range of operations the municipalities have good opportunities to influence the health situation of its citizens. Aim: The purpose of this study is to investigate how the local public health coordinators in Region Västra Götaland are working and what barriers they experience in their work.

In Sweden the main principle is that interest expenses are deductable. The rules of limitations on interest deduction are exemptions to this main principle. The provisions, which came into force on the first of January 2009, have been inserted into Chapter 24 secs. 10 a ? e Swedish Income Tax Act (ITA).

This study looks at how probation, client experiences, and criminal policy decisions affect recidivism in Sweden. Gaining a thorough grasp of how social, organizational, and political issues interact and impact the chances of rehabilitation and reintegration is the goal. Three research questions are addressed in the study: First, what are the causes of recidivism? Second, how is probation perceived by staff and clients in terms of control and support? Thirdly, what effects do political decisions have on probation services' operations and clients' chances for recovery?? A qualitative study was conducted with semi-structured interviews with twelve respondents, eight probation clients, three probation officers and one parliamentary politician. There were six themes that discussed the issue of recidivism from different perspectives, the collected data was analyzed through thematic content analysis.

This thesis has been conducted at Volvo Bussar ABunder a period of ten weeks. Within the organizationVolvo, the work is conducted with leaders and teamson every level; from production to top management.They have three tasks, besides executing their dailywork, they are expected to actively work on improvingtheir individual work as well as themselves as persons.The two latter are future value adding activities for theorganization. When doing so, however, it has beennoticed that they often lose the grasp of their dailywork. The question that consequently arises is whythis happens. Is it because of lack of time or it isbecause the co-workers do not have the competenceand simply do not know how they are to execute thethree tasks? Or, is it because the motivation to executethe three tasks is not enough? With this in regard, thestatement of issues for this bachelor thesis were thefollowing: how can the conditions for leaders and theteam be improved, in order for them to execute thesethree tasks.To find out why the execution of these threeassigments did not always succeed, the decision wastaken to conduct a survey and interview study in reallife and at the plants.
