The purpose of this report is to study when and why legal persons have been allowed to acquire agricultural properties. The ownership of agricultural property is governed by the Land Acquisition Act. The reason for this is because they want to limit legal person owner-ship of agricultural properties. It is believed that a large proportion of pri-vate ownership is healthy and stimulating for the Swedish countryside. There are some exceptions in which legal persons may be able to acquire. This is a review over decisions taken by the authorities. In this report I have studied purchases made between 2008 and 2010.

AbstractIn November 2011 the Swedish Government announced that they were conducting an investigation to examine what impact the conversion of existing rental stock to condominiums could have on the development of the Million programme areas. The proposal of converting rental stocks to condominiums aims to help people living in these neighbourhoods to private ownership, while still allowing people who want to continue to rent their homes to do that. This thesis intends to investigate the effects of the proposed reform from a management perspective. The maintenance of the areas built during the Million Programme gets more neglected every year that passes. The majority of the housing stock is rental properties and extensive renovation of the surface layer, tribes and public spaces are essential in all Million programme areas studied. By transforming a portion of the housing stock into condominiums and by improve the living environment through renovations, these areas would be able to gets more attractive.

Ett joint venture är ett avtal om samverkan mellan två eller flera parter och kan förekomma i tre olika former, nämligen contractual joint venture, partnership joint venture samt corporate joint venture. Gemensamt för de tre formerna av joint ventures är att de alla bygger på ett joint venture-avtal, i vilket samarbetets ramar och regler utformas. Ett contractual joint venture är ett rent avtalsbaserat samarbete (grundat på ett joint venture-avtal), medan de andra två formerna utöver joint venture-avtalet även bildar en form av bolag. The purpouse of this study is to find out how and if a Content Managment System (CMS) can benefit from applied User Experience Design (UX). A work project has been executed where a client wanted the students to create a user friendly CMS for adding content to a global hotel review site. A prototype of a CMS was created based on literature studies about UX and CMS. The prototype of the user friendly CMS was then tested through user tests and interviews with key users. This thesis is about the idea of public transport and the discussions stirred in the media during changes in ownership. More specifically it is a study of the historical situation of Stockholm, Sweden, where the periods chosen are the 1910s, 1960s and 1990s.During the 1910s Stockholm?s first and largest tram company was taken over by thecity, and a period of public ownership began, which in the 1960s changed form whenthe county council took over the city?s principal authority and formed the politicallyadministered company SL (Storstockholms Lokaltrafik, Greater Stockholm LocalTransit Company). Between these periods the word kollektivtrafik (public transport)was established in the Swedish language. The main purpose of this study was to study the heredity of osteochondrosis (OC) in fetlock-, hock- or stifle joints within the Swedish half-bred population, using data from the regional animal hospital in Helsingborg. A large number of horses with clinical symptoms, for example lameness, are radiographed every year at the regional animal hospital in Helsingborg. In addition, many clinically healthy horses are radiographed in order to be sold (inspection radiographed / export radiographed). This study is based on electronically stored data from horses in both of these groups of patients that underwent joint radiography at the regional hospital in Helsingborg during the years 1992-1999. The first file (inspection file) contained 1035 observations from 983 horses that had their fetlock-, hock - or stifle joints radiographed for inspection or export. The other file (clinical file) contained 6121 observations from 3800 horses that were radiographed due to clinical symptoms in the fetlock-, stifle or hock joints.

The aim of this study was to examine the District Court´s argumentations about the children´s best interests in rulings regarding custody of children, and to analyse the argumentation from a gender perspective. Rulings from the District Court from 2012 have been the basis for this study and a qualitative method has been used, argumentations analysis. The study shows that cooperative problems between the parents are the main reason why the District Court finds joint custody to be excluded. There are also argumentation regarding parent´s ability to ensure the children?s safety.

This study intends to investigate whether underpricing and the arbitrage opportunity exists on Aktietorget which is a smaller venue.

In order to rescue a distressed submarine crew, the Swedish Navy is able to use a deep submergence rescue vehicle, DSRV. This mini submarine ascends, docks to the downed submarine and picks up the whole crew. The submarine rescue ship HMS Belos has a special crane located in the aft of the ship to lift the surfaced DSRV aboard, which then docks on to the on board pressure chambers located below deck. During inspections the aforementioned crane has shown to have problems with cracks in the structure, most of them located in the bolted joint between the top part of the crane and the two leg parts. A simulation of the forces acting on the structure in heavy sea condition was conducted; these values were then used as input values in a Finite Element Method, FEM, analysis of the joint.

I och med Kinas medlemskap i World Trade Organisation har yttre påtryckningar från WTO gjort att det idag inte ställs samma krav i alla branscher på Joint Venture för direktinvesteringar gällande företag med produktionsverksamheter i landet. Många stora svenska produktionsföretag har idag valet att agera självständigt med innebörden att de antingen går ur sina samarbeten eller köper upp sin kinesiska partner. Anledningarna till att samarbetena ingicks var självklara, men vilka är premisserna för att företagen ska stanna kvar i dem? Syftet är att finna motiven bakom Joint Ventures i Kina och se för- och nackdelarna med dessa och vilken inverkan de har på de svenska produktionsföretagen efter det att marknaden öppnats ytterligare.

Who has the ownership of a company´s long-term strategy, and who should have it? Is it the board of directors or the senior management? Swedish law and regulations seemingly point in one direction, whereas the findings of studying the relationship between CEO and chairman of the board in eleven Swedish listed large- and mid-cap companies, point the other way. In a majority of the companies the senior management have the ownership of the long term strategy whilst the board of directors merely hold a control function. The possible effects on the companies managed as well as the rules and regulations they are managed according to, are analyzed..

Syftet med denna studie har varit att undersöka de multinationella företagens ?tvingande joint venture-avtal? med de kinesiska tillverkarna, och hur det påverkar teknologisk överföring. Som metod för att samla in information valde uppsatsförfattaren att genomföra kvalitativa intervjuer, vilka var semi-strukturerade. Genom ett icke-sannolikhetsurval valdes tre företag ut för att delta i studien.Studiens slutsatser tyder på förutsatt att den kinesiska regeringens krav på joint venture-avtal reviderades eller helt slopades och de multinationella fordonstillverkarna därmed fick valfri möjlighet till FDI, då skulle det leda till att färre företag ingår joint ventures med kinesiska tillverkare. Dessutom ökar incitamenten för de multinationella företagen att överföra teknologier till den kinesiska fordonsindustrin om de har möjligheten att fritt bestämma FDI, däremot är det ingen garanti för mer effektiva teknologier.
