Arbetsrelaterad stress inom äldrevården : Anställdas upplevelser enligt Theorells krav - kontrollmodell
Abstract The main purpose of this study was to investigate if and how the employees in elderly care experience stress and which underlying causes they understand to be important in their work situation. The purpose was also to investigate whether Karaseks and Theorells demands and control models could be used to explain the employees feelings of stress and to see in which categories the participants are in. Furthermore, the purpose was also to understand the participants work situation and to describe the factors and remedies the employees perceive to contribute to the stress levels at their workplace. 81 questionnaires were distributed at three different locations, two of which were in Ronneby and one in Örebro. 56 people answered the questionnaires.

The goal of this paper is to analyze the influence of the EU on Turkish democracy. In order to achieve this aim, the paper concentrates on three areas, as representative institutions, opposition parties and freedom of expression. The impact of the EU on Turkey has been more explicit during the last decades. In particular since 1999 when the country became a candidate for membership, and that will eventually lead to Turkey joining the European Union. Thereby this paper will examine the demands EU set up for the country and how Turkey accomplishes these criteria.

Given that the end-customer has become more demanding, the retailer has to deliver products according to the market demands, which have forced manufacturing companies to constantly search for new opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Kompetensutveckling, motivation och arbetstrivsel : Verktyg inom Human Resources för att behålla personal
Att byta jobb är kostsamt, både för individen och för företaget.Men vad är det som gör att man stannar på jobbet, är det kollegorna, lönen eller möjligheten till utveckling?Studien genomförs på en kommun, fiktivt döpt till Solrosen en organisation som är uppdelad på olika nämnder och aktiebolag. På tre olika organisationer inom Solrosens kommun har sammanlagt sju intervjuer genomförts. Fem av intervjuerna var med personer i ledarpositioner och två av dem var med medarbetare. Intervjuerna och studien har varit av en kvalitativ art.Syftet med uppsatsen är att visa hur man använder verktyg så som kompetensutveckling, se hur lärandet hos och utvecklingen av personalen på arbetsplatsen ser ut och se hur man hanterar den befintliga kompetensen.
Jobba i spelbranschen
Spelindustrin växer för varje år som går, och mycket har hänt på senare år.
Detta och mitt intresse om dator/tv-spel gör att jag finner det relevant att
ta reda på hur det är att jobba i spelbranschen och skaffa mig kunskap om hur
det fungerar i branschen.
Det finns många positioner inom spelbranschen och det är inte lätt för en
utomstående att förstå hur mycket arbete, tid och pengar spelföretag lägger
ner för att släppa ett spel på marknaden och förhoppningsvis få det att sälja
bra. En annan viktig aspekt i spelbranschen är hur det fungerar rent
ekonomiskt och vart all budget kommer ifrån för att producera ett spel. Jag
har också valt att titta närmare på hur det går till när man ska skaffa sig
jobb i branschen.
Genom litteraturstudier analyserar jag hur det kan tänkas vara att jobba i
spelbranschen samt genom fakta få fram hur det fungerar med ekonomin och de
olika positionerna som finns samt hur man ska göra när man söker jobb.
Med studien har jag bland annat förstått att det krävs mycket mer tid, budget
och marknadsföring för att producera ett spel men att det verkar vara en
spännande bransch.

Banverket Trafik has a responsibility to make sure that the companies who traffic the Swedish railroad have the correct information about the status of the railroad. One of Banverket Trafiks information systems (Opera) presents the train?s actual position on a map and provides the user with physical information about the trains. Due to increasing demands on the information systems, Banverket Trafik needs to update the present system architecture in order to manage the increasing demands on map graphics and map functions. This paper analysis the information system Opera on the basis of theory and support of methods and discuss problems and demands for Opera.

One of the aims of this report has been to make an inventory of the building trade market to see which document handling systems that are available. The secondary aim was to document the users´ demands on the systems and other demands such as quality assurance. After this, the document handling systems Byggnet and Lotus Notes, which are rather complex systems, have been analysed. Finally a recommendation has been made. In the inventory of the marketthe internet has been used because it is there the latest information can be found.
Socialarbetares syn på institutionell påverkan i arbetet med unga lagöverträdare
The aim of this study is to increase knowledge and understanding regarding which institutional demands can be identified by social welfare secretary?s in their work with juvenile offenders. The study uses organizational theory to try and find different institutional strategies that social workers use to handle such demands. The study takes a qualitative approach and consists of six semi-structural interviews with social welfare secretary?s who work with juvenile offenders.The results of the study show how institutional influence comes from various organizations and institutions such as media, legislation as well as the police and justice system.
Det nya bokförlaget: Att skapa en roll på marknaden
As more and more book publishers are starting up in Sweden, despite of tough competition, this thesis aims to understand the necessary resources required by new publishing houses in order to create a long-term role on the national publishing market. This is a market characterized by a high level of cultural interests, where success is not always measured in economic profit. Four new publishing houses have been chosen, whose start-up phases and entry processes are described in order to determine what factors have been essential in creating a role. In addition, relevant actors such as other publishers, distributors, and retailers have been interviewed with the purpose of acquiring the complete picture of how the new publishers? can create a role within the industry.
Den sista fasen : En kvalitativ studie om Fas 3 i Jobb- och utvecklingsgarantin, utifrån deltagarnas perspektiv och i arbetsmarknadspolitiska styrdokument.
Fas 3 är en omdebatterad del av den svenska arbetsmarknadspolitiken och det arbetsmarknadspolitiska åtgärdsprogrammet Jobb- och utvecklingsgarantin. Syftet med Fas 3 är att personer i långtidsarbetslöshet så snabbt som möjligt skall komma tillbaks till arbetslivet. Syftet med denna uppsats är att med hjälp av kvalitativa metoder undersöka bilden av Fas 3, utifrån den arbetssökandes perspektiv och utifrån arbetsmarknadspolitiska styrdokument. De frågeställningar uppsatsen förhåller sig till är: 1. Vilka är de huvudsakliga resonemangen kring arbete och arbetslöshet i arbetsmarknadspolitiska styrdokument som reglerar och kommenterar Jobb- och utvecklingsgarantin, samt i deltagarnas berättelser om Fas 3?2.

participants are in. Furthermore, the purpose was also to understand the
participants work situation and to describe the factors and remedies the
employees perceive to contribute to the stress levels at their workplace.
81 questionnaires were distributed at three different locations, two of which
were in Ronneby and one in Örebro. 56 people answered the questionnaires.
The result yielded that 80% of the participants felt stress during their
working hours the last few years.
The results are in agreement with the demands and control models which showed
that people with high demands and low control experienced a higher degree of
stress than people with lower demands and higher control, which corroborates
the hypothesis 1.1..
Virtuella Arbetsmarknadsdagar : En kvantitativ undersökning om mervärdeskapande och prissättningsstrategi på traditionella Arbetsmarknadsdagar
Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva, tolka och analysera framgångsrikt agerande vid påtvingade brytpunkter i karriärutvecklingen. Fem personer har fyllt i ett formulär samt intervjuats angående deras känslor, erfarenheter, motivation och nätverk relaterat till jobbsökandet. Resultatet visade att en mängd olika tillvägagångssätt använts, t.ex. att berätta för bekanta att de söker jobb, kontakta potentiella arbetsgivare samt risktagande. En del av handlandet utfördes med syftet att skaffa jobb, andra handlingar utfördes av andra anledningar, men hade ändå betydelse för framgången i att skaffa jobb.

This report discusses how well the competences the master program in Information Technology, given by the Royal Institute of Technology, meet the demands from the business life. It is made qualitative and about 20 companies have taken part to get the results. The study has been made to see how well the three first years and the entire five year master, with different aiming, meets the demands. The results shows that the master program needs to be remodeled to meet the demands in the more ?softer competencies?, which for example is people management and an understanding about economical, juridical and cultural aspects.

A comparison between the demands and how well medtech companies achieve them will be done.
Observationer av PPU i praktiken och teorin: Konsten att inte planera med luft
The construction industry is often criticized to be an industry of narrowness and slow of change. The traditional construction process is considered to create gasps of inferior quality, delays and increase of disputes. Meanwhile, productivity is lower compared to other industries and the prices are increasing. In this debate, it has been assumed that the reported figures are monitoring a reflection of reality, but there might be an error in the statistics which suggests that the focus is at the wrong place. A study of the monitoring and the measurements of the results are to consider, instead of spending time and resources on issues and actions The Last Planner System is an executive planning tool which creates a predictable workflow and creating value throughout all the different stages.
