Syfte: Att beskriva nyutexaminerade allmänsjuksköterskors upplevelser av att vårda patienter i livets slut. Metod: Författaren har genomfört en kvalitativ intervjustudie med beskrivande design. Undersökningsgruppen valdes ut genom bekvämlighetsurval och bestod av sju allmänsjuksköterskor som jobbat max två år som sjuksköterska. Det insamlade materialet analyserades utifrån en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultat I analysen framkom sju kategorier. De intervjuade sjuksköterskorna beskrev en tillfredsställelse i arbetet med patienter i livets slut, vilket kunde dels bero på att de utvecklades i det jobb de gör, men det kunde också bero på att de fick uppskattning från patient och anhöriga. Trots arbetstillfredsställelsen som sjuksköterskorna beskrev kunde de även få en känsla av otillräcklighet i vårdandet av patienter i livets slut, vilket kunde vara en konsekvens av brist på tid och personal.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att med hjälp utifrån en hermeneutiskt kvalitativ inriktning och utifrån positivismens kvantitativa inriktning kartlägga hur ungdomar i ?övergångsåldern?, åldern mellan skola och arbetsliv i staden Simrishamn ser på sin framtid utifrån faktorerna utbildning, jobb och utflyttning. Två metodologiska utgångspunkter har valts för undersökningen, detta för att nå en djupare kunskap och förståelse. The aim of this study was to understand how care staff in residential care perceive and work with elderly mental health and how these perceptions and work is related to aging. We have gathered our empirical material through eight qualitative interviews and vignettes with care staff in residential care. The study was conducted in a municipality with 10 000 to 20 000 inhabitants in southern Sweden. The material was analyzed with use of ageism as a theoretical frame of reference. The results showed that the care staff had different perceptions of mental illness in general and regarding the elderly.

Begreppet kommunikativ kompetens har haft stor betydelse för utvecklingen av andraspråksundervisningen. Utgångspunkten har varit att språkinläraren tillika språkanvändaren behöver kunskaper och färdigheter på flera olika nivåer för att kunna använda språket i muntlig och skriftlig kommunikation. Den kommunikativa kompetensen eller språkförmågan måste ses som en helhet, sammansatt av flera sinsemellan samverkande komponenter. En kommunikativt kompetent person vet vid språkanvändning vad som är möjligt formmässigt och vad som passar i olika sociala funktioner och sammanhang, i enlighet med de regler och konventioner som iakttas av infödda talare. Språkmedvetenhet handlar om att bli medveten om sin språkliga kompetens och var man befinner sig i sin språkutveckling.

Det är svårt för kvinnor att nå högre positioner i samhället och det behövs särskilda utbildningar, och särskilda verktyg, för att kvinnor ska få likvärdiga möjligheter som män att bli chefer. Luleå tekniska universitet har genomfört ett projekt, ledarutbildning med mentorskap för kvinnor, som bland annat syftat till att öka det kvinnliga ledarskapet i Norrbotten. Vi vill undersöka att dessa kvinnor upplever att de fått ökade sociala nätverk och/eller karriärmöjligheter? Är mentorskap och nätverksbyggande verktyg som kan förbättra kvinnors karriärmöjligheter? Metoden var kvalitativ eftersom vi var ute efter deltagarnas upplevelser av utbildningen samt nätverksbyggandets och mentorskapets eventuella effekter. De flesta av kvinnorna i ledarutbildningen skapade sig större nätverk i samband med utbildningen.

The parallel bars is used in physical therapy and is mainly used for patients who have to train walking and balance after a stroke or an operation. It consists of two long handrails with two legs on each handrail. These legs go down into two ground-plates and are locked at the wanted height with a pin. The parallel bars is an appreciated device and is used on a daily basis in many care units.The main issue with the manual parallel bars is that it is very difficult and heavy for a single person to adjust the height of it. If a larger adjustment of the height has to be done, the legs have to be adjusted one at a time otherwise the they will be locked.

The purpose of this study is to contribute to our knowledge about what methods? teachers say they use in the work with pupils? early reading acquisition, and how they evaluate the pupils´ reading development. I also like to find out what educational interventions teachers believe that pupils with reading difficulties need, and how they say they work to meet the needs of these pupils. The project is based on the following questions: What methods do teachers say they use in the work with pupils early reading acquisition? What extra resources do teachers consider that pupils with reading difficulties need? How do teachers evaluate children's reading development? In order to answer my questions, I've done qualitative interviews with three teachers, at two schools, in two medium-sized municipalities.

As a previous employee at the department of logistics at Volvo Penta I?ve taken part of the environment, information and prerequisites that this thesis discusses on a daily basis. Case studies have been used for the collection and analysis of data concerning packaging logistics as I?ve chosen to consider only specific markets and packaging.Conclusions This thesis has highlighted the demands that are placed upon engine packaging throughout all concerned units and how these demands affect each other, positively and negatively.

The environmental debate is more intensive than ever before and the demands on companies increase. There are a number of methods to make it easier for the companies to fulfil the demands. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) end ecodesign are some of the methods that can be used. Syntronic AB has the possibility to reduce the products´ environmental impact in the design phase. Therefore it is important for the company to make it possible to visualize the negative environmental impacts a product can cause in an easy way. It is also important to visualize for there clients if any improvement is possible. The purpose of this thesis is to develop a simplified model.

This work has been made in cooperation with the municipality of Eslöv and the inventory area is a part of the deepening of the municipality plan of east Eslöv. The aim of the work is to test the principle of balance in the overall planning. Later in the detailed planning process a more detailed calculation is made and a suggestion of suitable measures for compensation is made. Then the method with green area factors can be used. The goal is to balance the negative influence on the environment from the planned impacts to gain a sustainable development of the city. The principle of balance means that the one responsible for the development also has to compensate for the negative impacts on nature and landscape that comes with the development.
