Bakgrund: Sjukfrånvaron i Sverige 2004 var högst i Västeuropa och landets enskilt största ekonomiska problem. Regeringen vidtog åtgärder för att minska sjukfrånvaron. En del var att ge incitament för att sjukskrivningsprocessen skulle finnas med i hälso- och sjukvårdens ledningssystem, delvis på grund av förändrade krav och därmed brister i läkarintygens kvalitet. En lokal undersökning vid ortopedkliniken Kärnsjukhuset visade att 23 % av patienterna var missnöjda i samband med sjukskrivning.Syfte: Genom Sex Sigmas problemlösningsmodell DMAIC i kombination med mikrosystemperspektivet förbättra kvaliteten på läkarintygen, skapa mål och rutiner i sjukskrivningsprocessen samt öka patientnöjdhet Metod: Utifrån ett mikrosystemperspektiv intervjuades projektgruppsdeltagare. Genom Sex Sigmas problemlösningsmodell fokuserades förbättringsområden på informationsutbyte till patienter och läkare samt utformande av mål och skriftliga rutiner.

In the 1960s and 70s a large growth in part-time work amongst women in the Swedish labour market took place. A net inflow of workers into the labour market has been suggested as the main source. However, part-time work is still a common phenomenon among Swedish women; in 2004 almost 40% of all women worked part-time, and women are clearly dominating the part-time sector. Materialhantering är en växande bransch som medför att både antalet anställda och arbets-tempot ständigt ökas. En konsekvens av detta är att antalet olyckor med fallande objekt har ökat i samband med användning av truckar.I detta examensarbete har därför en undersökning av skyddstaket till truckserien staplare (Stacker, Pedestrian with platform, Electrically powered) genomförts. Syftet är att undersöka möjligheterna att ta fram en ny konstruktion på skyddstaket som, jämfört med den befintliga konstruktionen, kan absorbera energin från en fallande last på ett bättre sätt samt minskar den kvarstående deformationen. Detta för att kunna öka säkerheten för föraren ytterligare men även för att kunna öka produktiviteten av trucken genom att minimera servicetiden av taket efter större lastfall.Målet med arbetet är att ta fram en CAD-modell på en ny konstruktion av skyddstaket som ska kunna utgöra underlag för framtagning av en testprototyp. Projektet har följt en systematisk produktutvecklingsprocess i vilken det första steget är att ta fram en kravspecifikation på konstruktionen.

Business valuation is something that has been more general and discussion around this subject is very common. The discussions often revolve the various principles and procedures that a business appraiser can apply when a valuation of a business should be done. When there are different evaluation methods there are also resulting in an assumption that there are not so easy to create a complete objective business value. The individual evaluator choice of method will determine the result of the business value. The global world for each business has been more uncertain and turbulent/changeable which have tended to exacerbate the work for the evaluator to determine a business value.
