Within the near future Sweden will be facing a large number of successions of ownership  within the agriculture and forestry sector, which is why it is important to acknowledge the question of alternatives for transfer of ownership. The purpose of this thesis is therefore to analyze the existing law as well as the various options for how to transfer the ownership concerning succession of ownership within family-owned agriculture and forestry businesses. This thesis pays particular attention to the complexity of problems that refer to joint ownerships and the great importance of the emotional questions that arise when a succession of ownership is being implemented.A succession of ownership can be planned as well as unplanned. When implemented through inheritance the transfer to the younger generation is unplanned. There are several effects of an unplanned succession of ownership and these effects can be harmful for the company as well as the family.

Individual trees can act as carriers of meaning. When a person attributes deep meanings to a specific tree, a relationship between the person and the tree is created. To avoid conflicts between users and planners, increased awareness is required of how important individual trees may be to a person. The objective of this study was to elucidate persons? relationships with individual urban trees.

Ledarskap för motivation : En kvalitativ studie om chefers perspektiv på ledarskap för motivation

The purpose of this study is to investigate the managers? perspective on leadership in relation to the motivation of the employees by an example of a manning and recruitment agencies. This is implemented by framing of two questions; What kind of leadership can be identified by middle managers to motivate their employees? Which motivation factors are relevant to employees based on the perspective of the managers? To answer the question and identify leadership strategies and motivational factors and the relationship in between, we have conducted eight interviews with persons who hold a middle management position. Through a qualitative investigation we have been able to go into depth and had access to these managers reflections, thoughts and experiences.

Styrning och nödbroms av ModuLith

The purpose of this project is to get a fully functional, automatic steering system and a variable breaking system with an emergency breaking function to an off road vehicle. This off road vehicle is supposed to work as an aid in military situations. A team of two, Sebastian Attervall and Nichlas Gustafsson, got an order from Jonas Nyårds and the PreeRunners Project to construct a steering system that could manoeuvre an off road vehicle without any human Involvement. To make this possible the vehicle would be guided by onboard sensors, cameras and computers. The team where also assigned to construct an automatic breaking system, there also no human would be involved.

Diskursanalys på den Etiopiska regeringens nationala handlingsplan om bekämpning av ökenspridning

In this paper discourse analysis on the Ethiopian National Action Program (NAP) to combat desertification is made. The aim is to describe how the overall image/picture of desertification, its causes, and effects and of possible solutions are presented in the NAP. The result of this analysis shows that the main cause of desertification is human activities mainly due to the poorly developed socio-economic situation in the dryland areas. It is indicated that an excessive dependency of the rural population on the natural resources, particularly land, is the major cause of land degradation and this deterioration of land is said to have been caused by the rapid population growth, overgrazing, forest clearing as well as past government and institutional failures. In addition it is indicated that the effect of desertification usually involves ecological changes that sap land of its ability to sustain agriculture and human habitation, therefore the most serious threat to human welfare.

Från skendemokrati till delaktighet   : Patienters erfarenheter av delaktighet inom psykiatrisk vård

Sammanfattning Bakgrund: När människor blir patienter inom psykiatrisk vård upplever de sig ofta utlämnade till andras välvilja. De kan ofta redan innan ha en skör och svag autonomi och deras egen medverkan och delaktighet i vården kan ibland vara svår att särskilja. Det finns en stor aktualitet i ämnet delaktighet då patienters rättigheter, självbestämmande, inflytande och ansvar i vården på många sätt står i fokus idag.  Syfte: Att beskriva patienters erfarenhet av delaktighet inom psykiatrisk vård Metod: Metoden är en litteraturstudie där 14 vetenskapliga artiklar som svarar på syftet och frågeställningarna för studien har sökts fram. Analysmetoden baseras på en kvalitativ innehållsanalys där meningsbärande enheter identifieras som vidare kodas i kategorier och utvecklas till centrala teman. Resultat: Resultatet redovisas under fem huvudteman; att bli sedd, att få veta, att utgå från patienten, att ha kontroll och egenmakt samt att hindras av sitt sjukdomslidande med tillhörande underteman. Resultatet visar att bekräftelse i vårdrelationen är viktigt för att skapa förutsättningar för patientens delaktighet. Om en patient har en känsla av att bli sedd, hörd, förstådd, respekterad som individ och bekräftad av vårdare kan ett ömsesidigt givande och tagande i relation uppstå och utgöra en god grund för delaktigheten.

Barn som närstående - Betydelsen av att vara delaktig och besöka närstående som vårdas på sjukhus

Inom sjukvården brister det i bemötandet av barn som närstående där de sällan synliggörs, blir delaktiga eller informerade om det som berör den sjukes/skadades hälsotillstånd. Oberoende av sin familj har barn och unga egna rättigheter i samhället vilket barnkonventionen stödjer och arbetar för. 1 januari 2010 omarbetades innehållet i Hälso- och sjukvårdslagen (HSL) och Lagen om yrkesverksamhet på hälso- och sjukvårdens område (LYHS). Där klargörs barns rättigheter till information, råd och stöd samt hälso- och sjukvårdens ansvar att uppmärksamma detta, om barnets förälder lider av sjukdom/skada. Syftet är att beskriva barns upplevelser av att ha en närstående som vårdas på sjukhus samt ge en beskrivning av faktorer som kan påverka barnens upplevelser.

Utmaningar i den psykosociala arbetsmiljön - en studie av HR-arbete i ideell sektor

The purpose of this study is to conduce to the understanding of what challenges the HRdepartmentfaces in the work with the psychosocial work environment in nonprofit organizationsin Sweden. A particular focus in the study is on how the certain features of the nonprofit sectoraffect and tend to contribute to these challenges. In both Swedish and International research thereappears to be a lack of studies that deal with the psychosocial work environment in the nonprofitsector, which is one of the main reasons for this study. International research show, among otherthings, that employees in this sector have a higher degree of work satisfaction than in othersectors. Especially, they value the sense of making a contribution to the society, to get feedbackon their work performance as well as they expect a high level of co-determination.

Vi har även för avsikt att komma med konstruktiv kritik och förslag på hur Swedish Match eventuellt kan förbättra sitt positioneringsarbete.

Developing landscapes : a conceptual proposal for an Agroforestry Training Centre in Musoma, Tanzania, based on a field study

In this thesis we propose a conceptual plan for thedevelopment of an Agroforestry Training Centre (ATC)in Musoma, Tanzania. The aim is to make a proposalto support peasant education in agroforestry. How canan ATC in Musoma be developed into a stimulatingand educational park suitable for teaching agroforestrymethods to peasant farmers and other potential users?To answer that a field study was conducted to investigatehow our client Vi Agroforestry Programme (Vi) and thetarget groups of the client can benefit from the site.The thesis begins with a short explanation of thecontext, in which the ATC plays a part followed by amethodology chapter. Next are three chapters presentedwhich introduce the reader to the research conductedbefore starting the proposal, these include: results ofliterature studies, study of precedents, and results of fieldstudy.

The title of the study is: "Stories about helpful conversations - a narrative study of active processes in therapy and treatment." The purpose of this study was to examine clients' stories of what has been helpful to them in therapy / treatment. The study has been made in light of the ongoing discussion in society about the requirements for empirical studies within welfare areas. The choice to make a narrative study comes from the desire to have clients' own stories at the centre of what has been helpful in the therapeutic process. The author has interviewed and talked with four people (clients) who told us about their experiences of therapy / treatment. Narrative research methodology is based on people's life stories.

A quantitative content analysis which studies the potential of democratic communication through intranet use.Authors: Stina Gabrielsson and Jill Johansson VennelinPurpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate whether there is potential for democratic communication within the NGOs through intranet use.Key questions to be answered were: To what extent is authority versus members represented on the intranet Klick?s discussion forum? What/which communication-related functions out of social function, knowledge transferring and debate are featured in the posts published on the intranet Klick?s discussion forum? Are deliberative discussions being practiced in the discussion forumthreads on the intranet Klick? The thesis is based on the theory of deliberative democracy. In order to substantiate the theory has theoretical perspectives concerning participation and Involvement also been applied. These perspectives are derived from organizational theory and internal communication.Method/Material: This study consists of a quantitative content analysis of the 477 posts and the 129 discussion threads available on the NGO RFSU?s intranet Klick the 29th of november 2012.Main results: The results show that 63, 4 percent of those who were active in the discussionforum represented the category authority, while the category members were formed by 36, 6 percent.

Barnen - ett gemensamt ansvar En kvalitativ studie om familjehemsföräldrars motivation och upplevelser av socialt stöd i Paraguay

This qualitative study is about motivation and experience of support among non-kinship fosterparents in a child welfare agency (NGO), in Paraguay. The empirical data where collectedthrough out six semi-structured qualitative interviews, with totally eight foster parentsparticipating. The aim of the study was to describe and analyze what motivates foster parentsand how they experience support from their formal and informal network. Further theobjective was to investigate how support (may) affect motivation and enable good foster care.Theoretical concepts such as solidarity, intrinsic and extrinsic motivations as well as socialsupport where used to analyze the data.The results show that there are many different motives and motivations (intrinsic andextrinsic) that correlate in the decision to become and continue to be a foster parent. Amongthem social Involvement, the wish to make a difference in a child?s life, have something tooffer as a family and personal satisfaction seems to be the most frequent reasons.

Konsekvenser av förändringsarbete vid ett akutsjukhus : En fallstudie om anställdas upplevelser av arbetsförutsättningar och välbefinnande med avseende på stress, krav och kontroll ?

I dag ställs höga krav på effektivitet, tillgänglighet och kvalitet inom hälso- och sjukvården. Utvecklingssatsningarna har som syfte att sträva efter en så god och kvalitativ vård som möjligt samt att använda sina resurser på ett kostnadseffektivt sätt, dock glöms ofta medarbetaren bort i dessa sammanhang. Syftet med denna magisteruppsats är att studera vilken påverkan förbättrings- och utvecklingsarbetet inom vården har på medarbetaren vid ett akutsjukhus. Studien belyser olika frågställningar såsom vad förändringarna betyder för den anställdes arbetshälsa, med avseende på stress, krav och kontroll. Ett annat syfte är att utifrån olika perspektiv belysa frågeställningen om de nya arbetsmetoderna förändrat personalens arbetsförutsättningar.
