Allanblackia is a genus of trees that grows in the rainforests of West, Central and Eastern Africa. Its big fruits contain seeds very rich in oil which has been used by local communities for cooking and making soaps. The native stands are threatened by overexploitation and the demand for the oil is much greater than the supply. Domestication programs, aiming at introducing the trees to small holder agroforestry systems, have been started for some of the species. The main aim of this study was to investigate the soil requirements of Allanblackia stuhlmannii in terms of chemical and physical parameters, as revealed by the soil conditions in native stands. Another aim was to see if these varied along an altitudinal transect.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vilka metoder lärare använder vid undervisning för hållbar utveckling i grundskolans tidigare år. För att operationalisera begreppet hållbar utveckling i vår studie använde vi oss av fyra av de förmågor som presenteras i Inger Björneloos studie; förmågan att se helheter och sammanhang, förmågan att med inlevelse ha förståelse för andra människors livssituation, förmågan att se sin delaktighet och sitt ansvar samt förmågan att argumentera för olika ståndpunkter. Vi undersökte i vilken utsträckning relationen mellan lärares metodval och ett specifikt undervisningsinnehåll överensstämmer med de miljöundervisningstraditioner som växt fram i den svenska skolan. Studien bygger på en enkät som delades ut till lärare i en liten kommun i Sverige. För att analysera våra data använde vi oss till viss del av programmet IBM SPSS Statistics 22.Resultatet visade att det inte var några markanta skillnader gällande lärares metodval vid undervisning för hållbar utveckling.

Verksamheter idag bör identifiera ansvarsroller som innehar klart definierade ansvarsområden igenom hela utvecklingsprocessen, för att kunna hantera den ständigt föränderliga miljön IT-utvecklingen framkallar.I den här studien behandlas teoretiskt hur olika författare ser på ansvarsroller och ansvarsfördelning vid IT-investeringar. Därför har syftet med den här uppsatsen varit att identifiera, beskriva och jämföra olika teoretiska aspekter för ansvarsfördelning vid ITinvesteringar. Studien har fokuserat på applikationsinvesteringar men även infrastrukturinvesteringar berörs då författare specifikt tar upp detta i sin syn på ITinvesteringar.Studien är gjord med en kvalitativ metod och en explorativ, komparativ och konceptuellt analytisk ansats.För att ge läsaren en inledande bild av studieområdet har förhållandet mellan IS-arkitekturer, arkitekturfilosofier och ansvarsförhållanden beskrivits. Vi visar också hur ansvarsroller och ansvarsområden har förändrats över åren.I litteraturstudien har ansvarsroller och deras ansvarsområden enligt olika författares åsikter föreställts. Därefter följer en analys där identifierade roller från litteraturstudien har utmynnat i tre huvudroller; företagsledningen, IT-avdelningen och operativ ledning.

Bakgrund: Förvaltningstjänster inom premiepension har ökat i takt med införandet av det nya pensionssystemet. Marknaden för dessa aktörer har vuxit och det har riktats kritik mot förvaltningstjänsterna inom premiepension och dess förvaltare. De problem som förvaltningsföretagen påstås skapa riskerar att hota funktionaliteten och förtroendet i premiepensionssystemet. Aktörerna är ett relativt nytt fenomen i Sverige vilket gör att det inte finns tillgänglig information och statistik om förvaltarna och dess förvaltning. Lagar och finansiella teorier på området vägleder i hur förvaltarna bör och får agera, men anger inte hur förvaltningsföretagen arbetar i praktiken.

The transformer is one of the most common and most important electric machines for power companies. Cost of investment and the economic worth of a transformer are counted in millions of SEK. Because of that, proper maintenance actions that may lead to longer technical life time should be the aim in all situations.The aim with the report was to perform transformer diagnosis by dissolved gas analysis on Umeå Energi AB´s power transformers and a risk assessment. The report should also contribute to longer life time for the transformers.Oil samples were taken from each transformer two times. The first sample in summer 2013 and the second in April 2014.

In Sweden there are 354 000 private individuals owning forest. Of these forest owners there are at least two thirds that are self-employed, which means that about 215 000 forest owners conduct some kind of work in their own forest. Those numbers do not refer to firewood production, but every year 7.3 million piled cubic meters of firewood are used for heating Swedish households. This implies that many households are also producing firewood. The objective of this study was to assess and analyse the small-scale firewood production in the Umeå-region in terms of persons engaged in the work, equipment used, produced volumes and share of forest-owning households involved in these activities. According to results from a questionnaire, the average firewood producing person is a man between 40-60 years old.

There are five endemic populations of migratory Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar, Salmonidae) and brown trout (Salmo trutta, Salmonidae) remaining in Lake Vänern, whereof two are salmon and three are trout. There is one population of each species in Klarälven, also one of each in Gullspångsälven and there is a population of trout still remaining in Tidan River. Since the beginning of the 20th century endemic populations of salmon and trout have either vanished or declined dramatically due to the construction of hydropower in the rivers around the lake, and still today the future of the remaining populations remains uncertain. To manage salmonid fishes effectively more knowledge of their ecology throughout their different life-stages is needed. A large part of the Lake Vänern salmonoids lives are spent in the lake, where a mayor mortality factor is recreational fishing, especially angling.

Background: The environment and the design of auditing regulation can vary significantly between countries, which can affect the form, content and quality of the audit report. The purpose of the International Standards on Auditing, ISA, is to facilitate the work for auditors on an international basis. Sweden today follows the RS 600 which is based on ISA 600, which contains standards for when an auditor use work performed by other auditor. In October 2007, came a revised and redrafted version of ISA 600 that will be enforced in Sweden in the audit of the financial year beginning on 1 January 2011. To what degree the new requirements will affect the group audit is clearly dependent on how the reporting, evaluation and instructions between the group auditor and other auditor has been carried out previously.Aim: The aim with this paper is to explain the reporting between the group auditor and other auditor in an international corporate group.

The thesis is an examination of the methods that are appropriate and long-term choice to obtain clamping force and secure screw joints in production. The employer, Scania CV AB, transmission manufactures axle gears to all trucks produced in Södertälje. One of the most common assembly elements is screw joints, where the clamping force is essential to achieve a secure joint. Current methods to secure the joint is due much of the friction effect and is an indirect method to measure the clamping force. The clampforce accuracy becomes more widely with torque angle control.

In this report focus is put on the combustion process at a cement plant. Combustion is the heart of the cement making process and absolutely crucial to have under full control and well optimized. The fuel is put into the process through a burner pipe and this burner pipe is modified to reach a more efficient combustion. The primary target is to enable burning of heterogeneous alternative fuels and increase the production level. Other positive effects from this type of optimization is lowered specific fuel consumption and lowered CO2 emissions. Jag har i denna uppsats, med hjälp av Kenneth Burkes pentadmodell, undersökt motiv i Per Anders Fogelströms Mina drömmars stad. För att analysera framställningen av individens förhållande till samhället har jag även använt mig av Burkes identifikationsbegrepp och hans tanke om att syften bakom människors och karaktärers handlingar kan bottna i en strävan efter rening av en skuld vi bär inom oss.Genom att undersöka fem olika sekvenser, kronologiskt jämnt fördelade i romanen, har jag sökt formulera tänkbara motiv som ligger bakom textens budskap. För att undersöka hur scen och agent interagerar har jag använt mig av Burkes begrepp ratio, det vill säga förhållandet mellan dessa två komponenter i pentaden. Resultatet består i att Fogelström ämnar berätta historien om de människor som skapade grunden för dagens välfärdssamhälle, vars historia sällan belyses. Han beskriver ett förhållandevis obarmhärtigt samhälle, en agent, som tar beslut om sina invånares livsvillkor.

There are also several smaller local networks where a planned natural gas pipeline from Skutskär to Hofors prompted the need for a comprehensive study. This study examines the linkages that exist in terms of technology and market of natural gas and biogas in Sweden. Sweden has set high targets for the future with ambition to become independent of coal and oil as energy sources. Since 1985, a part of the solution has been import of Danish natural gas.

As the concept of Lovemark has only been applied in B2C markets, this thesis is directed to find out the applicability of Lovemarks in B2B context. In order to fulfill the research purpose, three main questions are answered based on a cross-sectional research approach: What role do intangible factors play in B2B branding? Is the idea of B2C Lovemarks transferable to B2B context? How should a B2B Lovemark be characterized? The results of the qualitative interviews indicate insights of high investment and involvement, integrated brand communication, balance between function versus emotion, brand?s trustworthy personality, customer partnership, and finally, the potential establishment of B2B Lovemarks.
