Generation Y som investerare : en kvantitativ studie om hur generation Y:s karaktäristika påverkar deras investeringsbeteende
Nyanländande Generation Y håller på att positionera sig på arbetsmarknaden och omfattas av individer födda inom intervallet 1980 ? 1995. Det återfinns dessvärre ytterst lite forskning gällande generationens investeringsbeteende. Mestadels av tidigare forskning har hittills handlat om hur tidigare generationer, så som Baby Boomers och Generation X, tenderar att investera. Denna studie har därför försökt bidra till att fylla ut tomrummet i kunskapen beträffande Generation Y.Studien utreder investeringsbeteendet hos Generation Y genom att undersöka hur specifika karaktäristika påverkar deras sä?tt att investera.
Svenska avkastningsstiftelsers kapitalförvaltning : En undersökning av svenska avkastningsstiftelsers kapitalförvaltning med fokus på investeringsprocessen samt riskhantering
Bakgrund: Avkastningsstiftelse är en mycket speciell organisationsform vars syfte är att förvalta ett givet kapital och bruka dess avkastning för att främja ett uppsatt ändamål. Kapitalförvaltningens utformning får således stor inverkan på i vilken utsträckning dessa stiftelser kan främja deras ändamål och därmed uppnå deras syften. Dessa ändamål är i majoriteten av fallen allmännyttiga varför stiftelser spelar en viktig roll som resurstillförare i samhället. En genomgång av forskningen inom området visade att tidigare studier främst fokuserat på stiftelser som väsen i Sverige eller deras roll inom filantropin varför vi fann det intressant att genomföra en studie med fokus på deras kapitalförvaltning.Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att kartlägga och analysera svenska avkastningsstiftelsers kapitalförvaltning med fokus på investeringsprocessen och riskhantering, givet restriktioner och uppsatta mål.Genomförande: Studien är en kvalitativ flerfallstudie inom vilken åtta intervjuer genomfördes med personer med insyn i stiftelserna i urvalets kapitalförvaltning. Även dokumentstudier genomfördes, dels för att skapa studiens referensram och dels som ett komplement till empirin insamlad via intervjuerna.

A study to optimize insulation thickness for stock-, industrial- and office-buildings for external walls and roof in an economical perspective has been conducted on behalf of DynaMate. DynaMate?s role is to maintain all Scania?s buildings. Analysis has also included other parts of the building envelope, such as windows, exterior doors and industrial doors. In this thesis, three different types of exterior wall constructions has been investigated, these are a sandwich design consisting of sheet metal and a another one consisting of concrete, as well as a wall of concrete with a coating of plasters.

A group of two people, Jelena Durkan and Johan von Heideken, have worked together on an assignment from the company August Lundh AB. The company manufactures plastic products for all sizes of catering establishments. The basis for this thesis is a pre-study which shows that many of the users would be more drawn to the plates that the company manufactures, if there was a motif on the plates.This thesis will present the method of application for the motif that best benefits the company, with regard to the requirements placed on the motif, application method and the costs. The group found five relevant methods that were more carefully examined and compared to each other. Those are:Laser engraving, Hot-stamping, Injection molding, In-mould labeling and Pad-printing.The tools that have been used to solve this problem are: Requirement specification, QFD and OEE.

The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the future potential of drain water heat recovery inmulti-unit residential buildings.A major part of the multi-unit residential buildings in Sweden were built during modernismen andrekordåren (1940?1975). Many of the buildings have worn out drain and water supply systems andmany are in need of a general refurbishment.
Har företag blivit mer sofistikerade i sina investeringsbeslut? : En kvantitativ studie av svenska börsnoterade företag
Denna uppsats bygger på en kvantitativ studie där svenska börsnoterade företag undersöks. Syftet med uppsatsen är att ta reda på i vilken utsträckning olika investeringsmetoder används och att undersöka vilka variabler som påverkar användningen av dessa metoder. Vårt syfte är även att undersöka hur förändringen i användandet av metoderna över tiden ser ut bland svenska börsnoterade företag. Vi fokuserar på att undersöka huruvida företag blivit mer sofistikerade i sina investeringsbeslut.I studien har statistiska undersökningar gjorts baserade på en enkätundersökning. Både så kallade t-test och chi-2 test har använts för att finna signifikanta skillnader i användandet av olika metoder bland olika företagsgrupper.

During recent years the use of TMR (total mixed rations) has increased in Swedish lamb production. For many years TMR has been used for cattle and hence the information and knowledge is vast, while the knowledge concerning sheep and TMR is more limited. The aim of this thesis is to present an overview of the scientific knowledge on the subject, and also to compile practical experience from sheep farmers using TMR. The thesis begins with a literature review where different aspects relevant to the usage of TMR are dealt with. It is concluded that there are differences between sheep and cattle that must be taken into account.

The aim of this study is to investigate how Swedish listed real estate companies use quantitative sustainability measures - mainly sustainability index with a financial focus. Sustainability management is a controversial issue that is used more and more constructive. A sustainable management approach in corporate cunduct is complex and based on a number of aspects of business visions, objectives and daily procedures. The study identifies aspects that are considered relevant in real estate companies where the selection of sustainability indicators is based on the support of scientific research in this field. The study intendeds to clarify how Swedish listed real estate companies have selected aspects and indicators of sustainability management and how these work towards a sustainable development.
Farmers´ decisions factors : a case study
This study examined the factors influencing dairy farmers´ decisions to invest in automated milking systems (AMS). The problem studied involves uncertainty, information and complexity for dairy farmers in specific decision contexts. The frame of reference in the thesis combines contingency theory and decision theory and is used in a qualitative analysis of a set interview with dairy farmers who have recently bought an AMS and salespersons from Delaval, one of the AMS suppliers.The aim of this study is to develop an understanding of the decision making processes of dairy farmers, and in particular to identify which types of factors influence the outcome of an investment decision in the technological development of a farm.The study uses Thompsons` (1967) theory about the structure that organizations develop to handle the input of information. Thus, interest is focused on how a farm business structure handles information in the AMS decision, investigating the differences in information with Delaval?s "feed first principle" system and Lely?s "free cow traffic" system.The results of the qualitative interviews with the dairy farmers who bought an AMS show that there are three important factors that influence the outcome: employees, suppliers and the owner.
