This study is about how the dialog can help students with special needs to feel participation and inclusion in the class and the teaching. My purpose with this study was to look for how the students with special needs interact with other students and teachers through the dialogue. I also wanted to know if there is any positive and negative effects to teaching students with special need in the classroom compared with the teaching at the special teacher.I have taking purpose of the sociocultural theory in my study because it says that children learn together when they communicate with each other. The theory central words are dialog and scaffolding in the zone of proximal development. I also describe central words like participation, inclusion and students with special needs in the special teaching.I have investigated in four interviews, two of them were with a teacher and a special aids teacher, and two of them were students with special needs.

The purpose with this essay is to compare two classes in an international school during their mathematic lesson. The international school offers education to their pupils in two languages; in Swedish and in English. Through this study I want to find out how teachers are working with language and communication during school hours. The first commercially produced wind turbines in Sweden are starting to reach theend of their lifetime after approximately 25 years of producing energy. The cost fordismantling the turbines, according to Ardefors et al. (2009), is calculated to be 1-2 %of the total investment of the wind turbines. The purpose of this master thesis is tomap the dismantling process of wind turbines in Sweden and try to find a sustainablesolution for the future.To make sure that a correct dismantling process takes place, and that the financialaspect is covered, a proposal for a financial guarantee is worked upon. The education in Swedish schools today should be for all children. This means that even if a pupil has reading and writing disabilities the education should be in the classroom with the rest of the pupils. The education should include every one.The aim of my study was to investigate the education with pupils that have reading and writing disabilities. I wanted to get a deeper knowledge about working methods that are used for pupils with these problems.In my study I have used qualitative research methods. This master?s thesis investigates the contextualized relation between a reader and a text, in a non classroom-oriented situation. Detta examensarbetes syfte är att klarlägga de formella krav som ställs på lärares klassrumsledarskap, att belysa sådana faktorer som lärare själva kan påverka för att uppnå ett gott ledarskap i klassrumssituationen samt att diskutera huruvida dessa krav och faktorer är förenliga med varandra. Ett ramfaktorteoretiskt resonemang utgör teoretisk grund för vad lärare kan påverka i sitt ledarskap och en teoretisk tolkning av begreppet classroom management utgör definition av begreppet klassrumsledarskap. Examensarbetet är en textbaserad, komparativ undersökning, utförd med kvalitativ, hermeneutisk metod. Efter en inledande litteraturgranskning har en kvalitativ innehållsanalys av läroplanstexter genomförts för att klarlägga styrdokumentens krav på lärares klassrumsledarskap. En forskningsöversikt beträffande begreppet klassrumsledarskap har genomförts med målsättningen att åstadkomma allmängiltiga generalisationer och söka praktiska tillämpningar inom området.

This essay is about power in the classroom. It is about the power dimension of the student-teacher relationships that arise in that space. The overall aim has been to investigate which categories are fruitful in a power analysis of these relationships. My aim has therefore been to develop power categories and to use them to identify and to categorise cases of power interaction that take place between those particular actors in that particular setting.In order to gather material for my study I have both read literature that approaches the study of the student-teacher relationships from a power perspective and done a series of observations in a high school.My theoretical frame comprises a concept of power and a series of power categories. These categories include strength, authority, inducement, coercion, violence, resistance as well as to possess power, to have power, to exert power, the scope of power and the base of power.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur lärare kan utveckla sin undervisning med hjälp av digitala hjälpmedel och ta del av andra lärares erfarenheter med att arbeta med sådana hjälpmedel i slöjd, hem- och konsumentkunskap. Frågorna var; hur bidrar digitala hjälpmedel till att förbättra undervisningen i slöjden; Vilka för- och nackdelar upplever lärare av att arbeta med digitala verktyg; Hur väljer estetiska ämneslärare att kommunicera via nätbaserade kommunikationstjänster och vilka positiva, negativa konsekvenser har det kommunikationsvalet fört med sig? Tre olika metoder har använts för att samla in data till studien, deltagande observationer på en grundskola, aktioner för att designa undervisningen med digitala verktyg och intervjuer med lärare inom estetämnen. Enligt lärarna visade det sig att mer digitala redskap i undervisningen ökar elevers motivation. Digitala verktyg som mobiltelefoner distraherar elever dock, det bör finnas tydliga regler för dess användning.

In a Swedish classroom today there will be students with different ethnicities, world views and religious beliefs.  The students will be taught religion through a non-denominational education, where as a teacher you are meant to be objective, open-minded and fair in the representation of different traditions. This representation is colored by the outsider-perspective and the students then learn about religion from a party which is not involved in the religion being taught. Med detta examensarbete vill vi undersöka hur pojkar i gymnasieåldern använder sociala medier. Syftet med vårt arbete är att bidra med kunskap om deras användning av sociala medier, särskilt utifrån skolan. För att få svar på våra frågor har vi genomfört tio kvalitativa intervjuer med elever vid Samhällsprogrammet/medieinriktning och Individuella programmet. Elevernas svar och relevant litteratur utgör grunden för vårt examensarbete. Vi har kommit fram till att elevernas användning av sociala medier under skoldagen ser mycket olika ut och att detta beror främst på pojkarnas tillgång till it-teknik. I undersökningen har den ena skolans elever tillgång till egen dator genom ett så kallat en-till-en koncept, vilket gör att de är mer aktiva på nätet.

Micronic Laser Systems AB produces and develops machines for the photo mask production market. One of their products is the Omega machine which exposes photo masks using 5 laser beams simultaneously. It is important that the distance between the each laser beam, the x-separation, is the same. The x-separation is today measured by exposing a photo mask with a certain pattern and thereafter measured with a metrology system. This takes to much time and it is desired to find a faster method to measure the x-separation without loosing precision.The task for this master thesis is to improve an existing measurement method which uses a calibration mask.
