Accessibility is today a topic of high current interest. It is a requirement for equality and a democracy question. By the year 2010, easy measured hindrances in all of Sweden's municipalities should be cleared away; this is stated in Swedish law. The physical accessibility to our public places is particularly important for functionally disabled people since it affects their possibilities to be outdoors and also their participation in society. When designing these places, it is difficult to find solutions that fit everybody, especially since good accessibility not only should fulfill all physical requirements of accessibility but also values of experience.

The area around the stream Orsundaan, which runs trough the valley Harsbacksdalen, is famous for its beautiful landscape. The upper area of Orsundaan and Harsbacksdalen is situated just south of Heby in Uppland, Sweden. Even though the area is protected by different nature conservation acts, it is difficult to find any information about the geodiversity in the area. Geodiversity, or geological and geomorphological diversity, includes the concepts of geoprocesses and geoelements. Very high geodiversity could be seen at an Inventory of the geomorphology in the upper area of Orsundaan and Harsbacksdalen.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att undersöka vad som motiverar de som volontärarbetar inom fritid och hälsa samt att se om motivationerna skiljer sig beroende på tid som volontär. En webbenkät med frågor tagna från Volunteer functions Inventory (VFI) och Basic need satisfaction at work scale (BNS) skickades ut till 220 volontärarbetare för att få svar på frågorna: Vilka motivationsfaktorer är bäst uppfyllda hos volontärarbetarna och förändras dessa över tid? Resultatet visade enligt VFI att Värderingar, det osjälviska hos människan, Förståelse, viljan att söka nya kunskaper, och Förstärkning, egenutveckling, har högst värden hos volontärerna. Vad gäller BNS så visade resultatet att Kompetens, förståelse för och delaktighet i sin omgivning, var bäst uppfyllt följt av Samhörighet, upplevelsen att tillhöra en viss social miljö. Enligt VFI har tiden som volontärarbetare inget samband med motivationsfaktorerna medan BNS visade att alla faktorer minskade men motivationsfaktorn Samhörighet sjönk mest.

Vattendirektivets (2000/60/EG) krav på skydd och bevarande av vattenkvalitet i vattenförekomster har kraftigt ökat medvetenheten om vattenhänsyn och vattenvård i det svenska skogsbruket. Världsnaturfonden lanserade hösten 2011 tillsammans med skogsägarföreningarna (Södra skogsägarna, Mellanskog, Norrskog och Norra skogsägarna) vattenhänsynsverktygen NPK+ (Naturvärde, Påverkan, Känslighet och Plusvärde) och blå målklassning som hjälpmedel till skogsägare för att ta och synliggöra vattenhänsynen. Relevansen hos verktygen NPK+ och blå målklassning att identifiera och klassificera vattendrag efter vattenkvalitet undersöktes med antalet fiskarter som indikator på vattenkvaliteten. 55 vattendrag i Krycklanåns avrinningsområde strax utanför Vindeln i Västerbottens inland inventerades med NPK+ och blå målklassning i mitten av september 2011. Fältinventeringsdata analyserades statistiskt med fiskartsförekomst från en tidigare elfiskeinventering i vattendragen.

AbstractThe aim of this present study was to investigate whether there is a relationship between birth order and the personality trait narcissism using 181 individuals from Finnveden High School in Värnamo (115 females, 60 males, mean age 17, sd=0,94), in the context of the proposal of Sulloway (1996) that personality is influenced by the specialized nich-es siblings adopt in the quest for access to parental resources. A questionnaire which in-cludes Narcissistic Personality Inventory test, Birth order test and also Rosenberg?s self-esteem test in order to investigate if it might has an impact on narcissistic personality trait, was used. Results showed that there was no significant relationship between birth order and narcissism, however, a significant relationship between narcissism and self-esteem was found. Furthermore, there was a significant relationship between narcissism and the individual?s relationship with the mother.

The ongoing change that characterizes the landscape as a result of the development of the society as a wholeis the basis for this thesis. Even though the Scanian landscape still is dominated by arable land, other valuessuch as biological diversity, cultural heritage and economical aspects, has all been ascribed the landscape asmore and more important factors and in some respects, compete with the farming industry about the right tothe landscape. Our demand of more and more space, will of course also affect the landscape. Huge amountof land are used to build external malls and single-family houses, which gives rise to an increasing need foran extended transport system that also is land consuming.It all comes down to: how the municipalities deal with non built areas - the green structure. Do themunicipalities have separate programs describing their vision and objectives concerning the green structure?Literature studies, an Inventory made of the municipality programs in the west and south west of Scaniaand interviews with employees at the municipalities clarifies the use of the green structure concept, both intheory and in practice.The green structure concept seems to be derived from the environmental debate.

BakgrundPå en intensivvårdsavdelning (IVA) vårdas patienter med akuta, livshotande sjukdomar. Patienterna utgör en del i en familj och deras sjukdomstillstånd blir en angelägenhet som påverkar hela familjen emotionellt. Närstående till kritiskt sjuka patienter är ofta djupt oroade över sina anhöriga och ibland är intensivvårdsavdelningen deras första kontakt med sjukvården. Sjukvårdspersonal är den yrkeskategori som oftast kommer i kontakt med krisdrabbade och då främst i deras akuta chockfas. Vårdpersonalens bemötande i dessa situationer har betydelse för att minska risken för framtida psykisk ohälsa hos krisdrabbade närstående.

The species in the genus bumblebees (Bombus) are important pollinators. In the world there are 250 bumblebee species and there are 34 species in Norway. The purpose of this study is 1) to assess changes in the species composition of bumblebees in twenty different places in Norway that have been inventoried first one time between 1939-1960 and the second time in 2012, and 2) to relate species richness and distributions to current landscape composition with the aid of orthophotos. In this study, I have used regression analyzes on the different bumblebee species that were present or absent at the Inventory, using the premises of the following variables: low or high altitude, latitude, longitude and seven different types of land use (farmland, building/plots, open land/pasture, forest, wetland and open or snow-covered ground above the tree line) to see if there was any relationship between each species and the different variables. I have not analyzed what the landscape looked like at the first inventories and therefore we cannot say whether it has changed and if that is why species number has decreased. This would be interesting to study further and to see if there is any relationship between landscape changes and bumblebee?s species decline.

Syftet var att undersöka samband mellan stress, hälsoångest, sjukvårdsbesök samt läkemedelsförbrukning i fängelsemiljö. Respondenterna var 66 män i åldrarna 21 - 68 år med avtjänade straff från en månad till tretton år och nio månader. Studien baserades på självskattningsfrågeformulär vilket mäter stress  (Perceived Stress Scale, PSS ) och hälsoångest (Health Anxiety Inventory, Short Version, SHAI). Dataanalyser kontrollerade samband, predicerbarhet och interaktionseffekter. Resultatet påvisade samband och predicerbarhet mellan stress och hälsoångest samt med hur ofta intagna besöker sjukmottagningen men inget samband med förbrukning av läkemedel.

A unified model of stress and affect consciousness was proposed. The connection between affect consciousness and perceived stress was studied. Teachers (n = 19) were interviewed using Monsens affect interview, followed one month later by a questionnaire containing Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI-S, STAI-T) and Twenty Item Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20).Statistical analysis showed no connections between level of total affect consciousness and perceived stress. Though there were some indications of a negative relationship between affect consciousness and trait anxiety. There were also indications, using a complementary analysis, of a connection between level of affect consciousness on the subscale distress in the interview and perceived stress.

Stands where pre commercial thinning has been ignored or inadequate often tend to have high stem density and low average diameter when they reach heights of thinning. In such stands, it can often be expensive to do a conventional pulpwood harvest as a first thinning. This study investigates the development of the stands and the economic outcome of forest fuel extraction, or a combined harvest as alternatives to the ordinary pulpwood harvest. Simulations in Heureka StandWise were performed for two thin and dense stands, which were constructed by data from the Swedish National Forest Inventory. The simulations show that the extraction of forest fuel in first thinning at an early stage can provide higher net revenue compared to conventional pulpwood harvest at the same time or later.

This essay discusses joist floor, and the land-building at these structures. In Malmoe there is a neighborhood called Trumman that has a courtyard where an underground garage is located. What possibilities are there in this place and how would an alternative design look? These issues will this essay answer. In the result part it is both described how the joist in Trumman looks and how it is built correctly.

With this study we intend to investigate and analyse three different preschool?s holdings of toys and discuss the result in relation to the creation of subject. The investigation in this study consists of an Inventory of the holdings of toys at three different preschools. We have used an already existing system for classification which is composed by Nilsson and Nelson (2002). The results give a detailed survey of collected material in the form of tables in which we indicate the comparisons which are relevant to our purpose.

Syftet med denna studie var att utveckla och pröva en enkät för att mäta livskvalitet hos ungdomar samt att se på eventuella skillnader mellan kön samt mellan årskurser. Till grund för enkäten låg det psykometriska testet för vuxna individer QOLI (Quality of Life Inventory) samt barnversionen av denna som heter ?Hur jag känner för saker?. Det unika med dessa tester är att resultaten är en sammanvägning av hur en individ värderar ett speciellt område i livet med hur nöjd han eller hon är med detta område i sitt liv. Enkäten för den aktuella studien bestod av 19 item.

ABSTRACTThe privatization of pharmacies in Sweden took place in 2009, in part with higher availability of medicines as justification. For a good adherence, the patients needs a good availability of medicines from pharmacies. The aim of the study was that two years after the pharmacy reform study older people?s opinions on drug supply and pharmacy services, and which pharmacy chains they know about and use. The method used was a quantitative cross-sectional study and was conducted using questionnaires.
