An Analysis of Cooperation in the Real Estate Markets and its Pricing.Final assignment for Bachelor Degree in Business AdministrationMadeleine Gustafsson and Sofie BillstamJonas Kågström2012 - MayThe aim with this final assignment is to investigate if the introduction and the cooperation of accepted price was necessary to generate a more stable real estate market with marketable listing prices in Stockholm. The introduction of accepted price led to a cooperation with some of the most important real estate firms in Stockholm. This cooperation was opposed by a number of companies on the real estate market. This fact inspired to examine similarities and differences of being and not being part of the cooperation and thereafter comment on the outcome.

Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att undersöka hur kriminalvårdare beskriver sin arbetssituation i relation till kommunikation och stress och om det finns något samband mellan implementeringen av HOVIK på häktet i Göteborg och minskad stressnivå samt ökade färdigheter i kommunikation. Vi har med en kvalitativ ansats intervjuat fem kriminalvårdare på häktet i Göteborg som är ett av tre säkerhetshäkten i Sverige. Kriminalvårdarnas arbetsuppgifter är bland annat att minska isolering för de häktade och motivera till förändring i livsföringen samt att bibehålla säkerheten. Ansvaret ligger hos kriminalvårdaren att öka förutsättningarna för en god kommunikation mellan personal och häktade. Attityd och bemötande spelar stor roll och påverkar relationen mellan personal och häktade och är avgörande för den respons man får tillbaka.

The goal of this paper is to examine whether the introduction of a qualifying day in the use of sick insurance in the Swedish welfare system resulted in an increase in the use of parental benefits as substitute to avoid the qualifying day. We believe that this could be the case because of the higher gain from the welfare system. We use OLS to perform a linear regression from a data set from the data base LINDA during 1991-1996. The results in this paper are that there is a significant increase in the parental benefit after the reform although there is a negative trend for parental benefit during the examined period..

In this report we compare the two programming languages PHP and C# in .Net. They are both used to create dynamic websites and on the web there's a debate going on about which of these languages you're recommended to use. With this report we want to make ourselves a more scientific base of which of these languages that is the most used language and which languages that are the most suitable for creating dynamic websites. We have two purposes with this report:1. To compare the usage of the programming languages C# in .Net and PHP at web agencies, advertising agencies and combinded agencies in Sweden today.2.

The aim of the study was to explore the methods used in horticultural therapy gardens in rehabilitating people suffering from fatigue syndrome. Nine horticultural therapy gardens were contacted of wich three chose to participate. Using case study as method e-mail interviews was carried out with the participants about their establishment and what kind of theories they based their methods upon. The material collected from the interviews was complemented with additional data from the establishments web pages and information pamphlets. Collected data was processed trough content analysis and then formed as background for the development of a program theory for horticultural therapy.

Examensarbetet handlar om OCR (Optical Character Recognition). OCR-tekniken går ut på att konvertera inskannade bilder från maskinskriven eller handskriven text (siffror, bokstäver och symboler) till datorformat. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att utforska OCRs framtid och vilka användningsområden som finns idag för tekniken. Det intressanta är att se hur OCR klarar sig när mer och mer material är digitala. Genomförandet till detta examensarbete har gjorts med information från böcker, Internet, mejl och genom att tittat närmare på ett företag inom den grafiska branschen som använder sig av OCR, nämligen Aftonbladet. Jag har även testat ett OCR-program, ABBYYs FineReader 8 och gjort tester med några testteman, exempelvis matematiktest och olika tester på artiklar från några tidningar. Mina slutsatser är att OCR har en framtid men tekniken har en del förbättringsmöjligheter, exempelvis tolkning av handskrivna texter. OCR kan finnas kvar även när mer och mer material blir digitala om det integreras i befintliga tekniker, som i ett spam-filter för att tolka texten i bilden.

The actual project presents the development of a testing rig for a steam engine. A short overviewabout the development of steam engines is presented, until arriving to the development of thepresent engine, which will require to be tested in different ways.The testing rig studied on this project (based on a Lanchester engine) will be used to testdifferent materials and layouts for the group Piston-Cylinder.The engine is a high performance steam power engine, which is going to have a highpower/dimensions ratio, what will lead to require high performance components and materials.An introduction to the testing rig is presented, and the entire design project is done in order toreplace the disappeared documentation of the current testing rig, built on the 1970?s. Also somemodifications done in the original testing rig are presented, as well as some detected problemsand their possible solutions..

Folkhälsovetenskapligt program.

Xylem är ett världsledande företag inom vattenteknologi. Xylem hade år 2011 mer än 12000 medarbetare i över 150 länder. Xylem Water Solut-ions är den största enheten och har huvudkontoret i Stock-holm/Sundbyberg där vi har fått möjligheten att göra vårt examensar-bete.För att läsa och presentera prestanda på pumpar och motorer används ett program som heter PECU som körs i UNIX. För att använda PECU på PC används en klient som heter Jmenu. Jmenu utvecklades för många år sedan och är idag krångligt att installera, uppdatera och distribuera.

Avsikten med denna undersökning var att studera hur professionella arbetar med kriminella ungdomar genom att studera två kriminalvårdsenheters program riktade mot denna grupp. Utifrån ett diskursanalytiskt förhållningssätt har vi studerat olika praktiker och diskurser som ingår i enheternas programverksamhet. Studien har en kvalitativ karaktär och bygger på intervjuer samt befintligt material på det undersökta området. Vi utförde två intervjuer på frivårdsenheten och två intervjuer på ungdomsanstalten i Luleå med professionella verksamma inom programmen. De undersökta programmen är Brotts-Brytet och ART.

The purpose of our research is to study how guidance counseling initiated by the students themselves differs between girls and boys in high school. We want to study if there are any differences between girls and boys regarding guidance initiated by the students themselves. We conducted a quantitative survey consisting of a questionnaire survey with 125 respondents. The respondents are second year students at the Science program. The result of the survey shows that there are hardly any differences between girls and boys regarding guidance initiated by the students themselves.

Enligt kommunikationsmyndigheten PTS finns det cirka 10miljoner mobiltelefonabonnemang endast i Sverige. Telefonerna innehåller operativsystem där det tillåts mängder av olika sorters program. I och med att Apple 2007 introducerade sin iPhone exploderade marknaden för så kallade Nomadic Devices. En telefon som mer är tänkt att fungera som någon form av handdator. Dessa telefoners utformning och funktioner möjliggör för utvecklare att ta fram mer avancerade program än man tidigare sett för mobiltelefoner.

Syftet med denna rapport är att noggrant redogöra för och analysera de fråge-ställningar som satts upp och samtidigt beskriva utvecklingsarbetet av ett datoriserat system för att hantera bokningar och för SMS-notifiering.De frågeställningar som, i denna rapport, besvaras är:1. Går det att skapa ett datoriserat bokningssystem som bidrar till att Bärarelagets arbetsprocess effektiviseras men som samtidigt är lätt att lära för användare med liten eller ingen datorvana?2. Går det att vidareutveckla det som redan gjorts för att besvara frågeställning 1?Bärarelaget är ett företag som specialiserat sig på kompetensuthyrning där mobilkranar, kranbilar och truckar behövs.

ABSTRACTThe aim for this study is to examine how relatives to children who participated/participate in Youth and family team Sputnik-group, oriented towards support groups for children of substance abusing parents, perceive the work done by the organization. On the basis of this aim three questions were formulated: do the relatives perceive a change in the communication with the child as an effect of the child?s participation in Sputnik?s activities, do the relatives perceive a change in their relationship with the child as an effect of the child?s participation in Sputnik?s activities, do the relatives think that their awareness of substance abuse have changed following the child?s participation in Sputnik?s activities. Previous research, Mead?s perspective, the concept of ?groups? and support groups for children, were used to interpret the results.

The first part of the thesis consists of a brief introduction to the general principles of target detection and the sensor-systems used. In the following part there is a theoretical description of the algorithms this thesis focuses on. The detection algorithms described in this paper are called Cell Average, Ordered Statistics, 2parameter and Gammadetector. Two different discriminators called Extended Fractal Features and Quadratic Gamma Discriminator are also described. The algorithms are tested on three different types of data, simulated SAR-pictures, authentic SAR-targets and IR-pictures.
